Recently completed DocuSign doc and then an email coming to my gmail account stating the forms have been completed also had PDF attachments that had been provided inside the secure DocuSign application with personal ID info such as Driver’s License, Military Dependent ID and the completed form with SSN info.  I contacted Newtek Bank for whom the DocuSign forms were completed to establish a joint owner for an account.  They stated they have no control over 3rd party applications (i.e., DocuSign) used for this purpose.  I asked if they would provide a picture of a credit card, SSN card, etc., as an attachment to an unsecured email, they said of course not.  So why is this private ID info showing up as PDFattachment’s to an unsecured email from Josh xxx via DocuSign?

Can you verify if there are any active DocuSign incidents? Newly created templates are not saving for users.

Hi,We are currently reviewing how we can expand our use of DocuSign within our company. At present, we primarily use DocuSign for bilateral documents such as contracts, where both parties participate in the signing process. We are now considering expanding its use to documents such as purchase orders and related response documents. Currently, these documents are often exchanged by email. From a governance perspective, we would like to minimize email-based document exchanges and manage the entire exchange through DocuSign where possible. One scenario we would like to achieve is the following:A customer initiates the process using our company's DocuSign environment. The customer uploads a purchase order and signs/submits it. The workflow then moves to our company. Our company receives the customer's purchase order within DocuSign. Our company uploads the corresponding response document (for example, an order acknowledgment) to the same envelope and signs it. The envelope is then completed,

Over the past week, DocuSign restructured its default folders, resulting in the removal of the Inbox and Sent folders from the navigation menu. Unfortunately, the available default search and filtering options do not provide the same functionality or ease of access that these folders previously offered. When we raised this concern with our DocuSign Customer Success Manager, Laurie McPhee, the response essentially confirmed that this functionality is no longer available. While system updates, enhancements, and modernization are expected and often welcomed, removing fundamental tools that end users rely on daily is not an improvement. These basic features contribute significantly to a system's efficiency, usability, and overall success.Eliminating established functionality without providing an equivalent or improved alternative demonstrates a concerning disconnect between product development decisions and the practical needs of the end users who depend on the system.True innovation should

My lender sent a DocuSign message that required I answer a series of Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA) questions. However, NONE of these questions had anything to do with me, my history, vehicles, property owned or resided at, or people who I’ve known. When I answered that I never lived in any of the location, owned any of the vehicles, do not know any of the people listed, etc, the authentication failed and I am unable to sign the documents. I suspect this may be due to the fact I requested LexisNexis to delete my data earlier this year. But why am Ibgetting random questions completely unrelated to me?

We have agreement templates for clients to sign, one document within the whole template is a Direct Debit authorisation form. This DD Authorisation document is optional, as clients don’t have to pay by direct debit. However, if they do want to pay by DD and fill out this form then our accounts team needs to be copied into the final form.If they do not fill out that form, our accounts team do not need to be sent the final signed agreements. Is there a way our accounts team can only receive a finalised pack from a client if the DD authorisation is completed? Otherwise they will get a lot of client agreement emails from docusign that are not relevant to them.

I’m trying to create a free developer (demo) account at docusign.com/developers/sandbox. Every submission returns “Your request cannot be completed. Having issues? Navigate to Docusign Support”, in normal and incognito windows, and no activation email arrives. My existing developer account works; I need a second one for testing a customer-account integration (separate company account). I have an open case, 18152098. Could a moderator help get this account enabled? I can share the email by private message.

For most accounts that I setup I have the option to pick SSO from security….but for some reason...some random accounts...I only get the ability to setup the access code….I am not sure what makes this pop up or how to change it where the SSO option pops up each time.

I noticed that Docusign recently changed the options for how agreements can be displayed. There is no longer a sent option. Does anyone know if there is a way to change it back? Once a document is completed, I have further action outside of Docusign that I need to take, so by having my completed documents all show up in the Completed list display once they are done, I have to now keep a list to track which Completed ones I have processed. When everything showed up in my Sent display, I could move the completed documents to a folder and know they were fully complete. Any ideas?

We have a requirement to change the verbiage of the message when the Envelope is voided. We wanted to change this highlighted message. Please let me know if it is possible to change. Regards,Monika

We have customized the DocuSign resource files for both Agent and Customer email notifications. However, we have identified an issue with reminder emails when an Agent recipient has not yet sent the envelope to the Customer. When a reminder email is generated and the Agent has not sent the forwarding DocuSign document to the Agent, the email content uses the Customer (EnvelopeActivation) template instead of an Agent reminder template. It would be a nice feature to have reminder templates for each.

Hi,We are considering using Docusign Stamps in a B2B process. Our company would send the envelope, and the customer would upload their own corporate stamp image and apply it to a document within the envelope. From the customer's perspective, we expect a security concern such as:"If we upload our corporate stamp image to Docusign, how is the image protected from unauthorized access or reuse?"We understand that Docusign records the signing/stamping activity as part of the electronic transaction and that the stamp used is recorded in the Certificate of Completion. However, we would like to understand how Docusign views the security and appropriate corporate use of an uploaded stamp image itself.Specifically:How is an uploaded stamp image stored and protected? Who can access or reuse the uploaded stamp image? Can the sender of the envelope obtain or reuse the customer's uploaded stamp image? Is the uploaded stamp image reusable only by the signer who uploaded it, or can it be used in other co

Hi,We are considering an operation where authorized Legal or General Affairs staff perform approval/signing actions on behalf of the company. In the Certificate of Completion, we would prefer the Signer Events section to display a generic organizational name, such as “Company Authorized Signer”, rather than the individual name and email address of the person who actually performed the action. We tested a Signing Group, but although the group name appeared in the certificate, the Signer Events section still displayed the actual group member’s name and email address. We also tested using a shared/distribution email address as the recipient, but this did not give us the desired result either. Is there any supported way to:Display a generic name and/or shared email address in the Signer Events section of the Certificate of Completion instead of the individual user's name and email address? Keep the identity of the actual user available in the audit trail, while not displaying the individual’s

I am looking for a quick way to replace an agreement in agreement manager with a version that is fully executed, where the final signatures were completed outside docusign. Can I replace the agreement without needing to delete the document and add a new one?

Hi everyone,I am trying to understand how to reuse a document uploaded through an Agreement Request desk inside a Workflow Builder (formerly Maestro) workflow and include it in an eSignature envelope. My workflow starts from a Web Form that contains several fields and one attachment field where the user uploads a document. The uploaded file is visible in the Agreement Desk request. However, I am confused about which step should be used next:- "Prepare document" seems to generate a document from a document template- "Get document from request" seems to retrieve documents generated from a document template in Agreement Desk- but my document is uploaded by the user through the Web Form, not generated from a templateSo my question is:How can I reuse a document uploaded via a Web Form attachment field and include it as a document in the "Send documents for signature" step in Workflow Builder (formerly Maestro)? Is "Get document from request" expected to work with Web Form attachments, or is th

Has anyone else had people complain about email subject lines coming from your Docusign account with this as the Subject line?Do you recognize this document? My clients are pushing back, not signing, and slowing down the legal approval process.  They fear that it is spam, even when being sent by Docusign. Then, when the document is signed and sent back to myself for signature it has the same Subject line.  It is like Docusign itself is sending emails that feel like Phishing emails to end users and customers alike.

Hello,I have an active DocuSign account under my full legal name. I can edit and save my signature in my profile successfully. However, when I receive documents to sign, DocuSign continues to use a previous signature/initials instead of the updated signature. This is occurring across multiple envelopes from the same sender and on multiple devices.Could you please check whether there is a signer profile, cached signature, or recipient setting associated with my account that is causing old signature data to be reused?

I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I haven’t been able to find a direct phone number or another clear way to connect with someone at DocuSign to discuss our account needs. Our company currently has multiple individual DocuSign accounts, and we are looking to explore consolidating them under one company-wide tenant or enterprise account.I’d like to connect with someone who can walk us through the available options, account structure, licensing, and what would be involved in transitioning our existing accounts. If there is a specific team or representative I should contact, I’d appreciate someone reaching out or pointing me in the right direction.Thank you!

I manage my DocuSign envelopes through my ‘inbox’ and ‘sent’ folders.  Once I am done with an item in my inbox, I move it to the appropriate folder.  Once an item in my sent folder is complete, I also move it to the appropriate folder. The ‘new navigation’ view does not allow me to view my data the same way.  Everything is pulling in instead of what’s truly in my inbox.  Are there settings I can update so that I have a setup similar to an inbox and sent folder?

When trying to download the envelope, it fails - error message displayed.{"errorCode":"COMBINEDDOWNLOAD_UNABLETOGENERATEPDF","message":"Não foi possível gerar PDF combinado. Por favor, baixe os documentos como um arquivo."}Bug IM-39704?

Why does an administrator need to setup a signing group? I feel like my clients know best when to use a signing group and I also am not liking everyone in the entire organization potentially seeing and using a signing group created for a different purpose/business area. If an account holder could have a permission to create and manage signing groups, it could hopefully include control over which senders can use the group in their workflows.  I am pretty new to DocuSign so perhaps I am missing some key concepts that would help me understand why our admin team needs to manage this feature on behalf of clients.  Thoughts? Are there risks of using this feature I should be taking into consideration?

Hello, On our company we are in the process of transitioning from accessing the documents using a general account where everyone can see everything to a single sign-on perspective. The way we work is that we are separated into teams (markets) and we want people from the same team to have full visibility of envelopes and templates. This way, if someone is on holidays or leave, the other can access and manage their documents. When it comes to Templates, this goal is easier to be achieved as we created groups and templates are visible within the users inside the group. Now with Envelopes, we are having more difficulties. We tried the Shared Envelopes option but then if we need to search for a specific envelope, we need to do that for each person that we have access to - not ideal.Imagine a scenario where we have employees A, B and C. Ideally:> they are part of a group with shared visibility. If employee D joins, they are put on the same group> they can see each others templates and env

Hi Team,I understand that custom reports are generally not shared between users, and that one user cannot directly access a report created by another user. However, why doesn't DocuSign provide administrators with the ability to transfer ownership of custom or scheduled reports created by another user?A common business scenario is when the employee who created and scheduled a report leaves the organization. In such cases, administrators may need to update the report fields, modify filters, change the schedule, or maintain the report for ongoing business needs. Currently, there appears to be no way to manage or transfer ownership of these reports, even for users with full administrative privileges.Could DocuSign consider adding a feature that allows administrators to view, transfer, or assume ownership of custom and scheduled reports when the original report owner is no longer available? This would help ensure business continuity and reduce the need to recreate reports from scratch.Than

Is this the correct place where I should transfer envelopes?
