Docusign eSignature 26.1.01.00 Release Notes: April 2026
Docusign is pleased to announce that the Docusign eSignature 26.1.01.00 Release Notes: April 2026, is now available on the Demo environment for customer testing.🚀 What's new?Streamlined Envelopes List ExperienceThe updated Envelopes list significantly improves agreement management efficiency with key functional enhancements to search, filtering, and list customization. These improvements are designed to help you find what you need faster and tailor the view to your specific workflow. Enhanced Signing Group CollaborationThis evolution of the Signing Group experience eliminates envelope locking, introducing concurrent viewing and immediate takeover capability. It streamlines how teams review and sign agreements to ensure recipients can stay moving without delays. Connect Auto-Retry ChangesDocusign is enforcing auto-retries for all Connect traffic, which provides an automated recovery path from transient network issues and improves the overall reliability of event delivery. This change allows Connect dashboards to more accurately reflect true success and failure outcomes, providing clearer visibility into delivery. User authentication tracking captured in Envelope HistoryTo support stricter security and audit requirements, envelope history now records when signer authentication is completed as part of accessing an envelope. This enhancement creates a clearer, per-envelope audit trail, giving security and compliance teams stronger evidence for access reviews and investigations. New Record Count Field for Maestro StepsMaestro's "Read from..." steps now include a new record count field, which provides greater control and flexibility for downstream workflow logic. This is critical for building more robust and reliable automated processes that depend on retrieving data from third-party systems. New Checkbox and Dropdown Variables for Maestro StepsThis update allows Maestro's "Read from..." steps to return checkbox and dropdown variables as boolean and string values, enabling seamless integration of third-party data into forms. This capability simplifies workflow automation by ensuring data integrity when populating fields in subsequent Maestro steps. AI Summary and Q&A now support embedded signing experiencesSigners can now access AI-assisted features like one-click summaries and grounded Q&A even when signing agreements directly within other applications. This is a major step in helping more signers understand agreements quickly and confidently, regardless of how the signing session is initiated. AI Summary and Q&A are available for Spanish and Portuguese signingThis expansion of AI-assisted features brings critical language support for Spanish and Portuguese to the Docusign signing experience, allowing a larger global user base to interact with document summaries and Q&A in their preferred interface language. This enhancement significantly improves the accessibility and confidence for non-English speaking signers. App Center Release NotesThe migration of Agreement Actions Connections to the unified App Center is now complete across all regions, providing a central and streamlined management location for integrations with key storage apps. This change simplifies administrative tasks and is part of a larger migration to Microsoft Azure. Improvements to the DSC Case Submission pageThe Docusign Support Center has streamlined its case submission process with an improved ticketing experience that uses AI to suggest accurate, self-service solutions dynamically. This dramatically enhances the customer support experience by reducing the complexity of case submission and facilitating quicker resolutions. End of Support for Legacy Web BrowsersDocusign is ending support for older, unsupported web browsers to ensure the platform remains fast, reliable, and compliant with modern web standards. Users must update their browsers to a supported version before April 22, 2026, to avoid interruptions to their sending and signing experience. For full details, check out the complete release notes. 📌 Feature availability noticeNot all product features are available at the time of this announcement.
