I have a template that I used to create a web form.  The webform works as expected.  Later I needed to change the validation of three text fields to date format.  1st Question - are dates allowed as validation for text fields in webforms?  (assuming yes)Here is how I changed the validation of the field:Edit web form. Edit templates fields. Changed validation of the desired field to date with the default mask. Save & CloseNow the link to the field is broken. When I View template connections I see:Under the WEB FORM FIELD column “--connect web form field-- Under Template field the name of the field I changed which in this case is Incident date.Clicking on the --connect web form field-- doesn’t do anything.  I CAN type the API reference name, which is Incident_date into the --connect web form field--  but when I click Save nothing changes.  This isn’t the first time I wasn’t able to reconnect a broken field.  What am I doing wrong?  The only way I know to fix this is to start from scr

I have a service agreement that can be filled out by 1 of 9 school districts. I have a dropdown on a webform with the 9 districts as choices. This is the functionality I want to achieve:- When a district is selected from the dropdown, the district information (address, city, state, zip, etc.) is automatically filled.- The recipient for the signature is different depending on the district. I want the signature request to go to the superintendent of whichever district is selected in the form field.Is this possible? Is there another way to set this up to achieve the functionality I am looking for?

Normally the ECF on the template helps us organize envelopes that are being backed up using the Agreement Rules.  However now we are using Web Forms, but it looks like the ECF can only be put on the Pre-fill page.  The problem with this is that we are using web forms so that our employees won’t have to have an account in Docusign but still fill out forms.  Therefore having the ECF on the pre-fill page is not an option. On the web form, there is the option for “Save as envelope custom field” on text and drop-down fields on the pages that are not Pre-fill.  When it is selected and the web form is activated, the ECF isn’t being updated so the Agreement Rules are not working.  Does anyone have any other suggestions or helpful ways to make the ECF work from the other pages?

I have a webform I created and have a few questions regarding it and the signing session that is generated after completion of the form. When I copy the URL to complete the webform, it is the same URL each time.  Do i use the same URL for every person I want to send to, or is there another method I’m supposed to be using to send it to different people to complete the webform? When someone is completing the webform, how do they save progress if they want to come back to it later, I’m not seeing that option? When the docusign signing session opens up, if I click on Finish Later, I’m not seeing any emails that come to me to allow me to restart the session?  Upon starting the webform completion, there is an individual name and email address I enter that as I understand is used for the webform and docusign session, but I don’t get any emails that I input there.

Good day I created a web form that is associated with a template. It works as expected, except I notice that when a user fills out and completes the form, I am being emailed a confirmation of the e-signature along with attachments (the signed form, and any attachments the user uploaded).I want the email to be generated, but I want it to go to a different email address. On the template’s “Add recipients” section, the first signer (which is set to “Needs to Sign”) is “Requesting User” and email is blank (assuming the applicant is to complete the form). The second signer is the role and email address I want to get the response after the user has submitted the form. That second signer is set to “Receives a Copy” and the address is hardcoded into the “Delivery” section.How might I accomplish this? 

In web forms I would like to inbed a URL in a description in a field. 

I have a web form with checkboxes and it is correctly updating the checkboxes on the template, however the conditional routing based on the value of the check box is not working.  I have the rule set to check if the box is selected to route to the person and I have the person listed under recipients as a routing group.

HiBetween building Templates, creating Web Forms and then finding that some fields are / aren’t available I’m at a loss and hope someone can  - in plain english - help me! This is what I want…. Give a URL to a Sales Partner which they can share with their end-customerThis URL contains links to 2 documents that we need the end-Customer to review and acceptThe End Customer must also provide details like: Company Name, Address, Date Signed (agreed)Upon their acceptance, the documents are then sent to my company (to sign) When we and End-customer has signed, all 3 parties (Us, End-Customer and Partner) get a copy Is this possible and can anyone help guide me to any training / FAQs to achieve this? Many thanks

I have created a webform template that I would like a supplier to instigate for small value instructions.When I select options, it doesn’t have “share the URL” and will only allow me to share with people in my organisation. How can I share this outside my organisation other than me having to add them as a recipient?

We are using a webform to collect data that is then being transferred to another system.  The key is getting the CSV download so that we are not retyping the data. The volume of transactions requires that we look at transactions daily.  When we ‘download’ at the template level, we get everything, and then have to filter down to the ‘new transactions’.  The most efficient would be to schedule a report, but when I look at the webform data report, it does not allow scheduling, and it doesn’t give the date granularity I need- preferable I would want a daily report that says show me yesterday.  Any thoughts on how to make this a usable, efficient process?

Is it possible to use variables in the Welcome page text?For example, in Maestro I have a variable that stores the candidate’s name in candidateName. I’d like to display that value directly in the welcome message.I tried using the same variable syntax that works in CLM (<%#Variable.candidateName%>), but it doesn’t work in Web Forms.Is there a supported way to insert field values or variables into the welcome page content?Thanks in advance! 

Hello, I am working on a Docusign Webform connected to a template and I’ve run into an issue with field mapping. Specifically my Webform includes a “Phone Number Field” which is required under recipient connections (this is the phone number field type in webforms), but when I try to map it to a field on my template, it does not link. I believe this is because the phone number type field on the webform does not connect to a text field on a template. When I looked the template does not have a phone number validation field.  I have confirmed:the recipient roles match between the webform and template Other text and email fields map correctly between the webform and template The issue only occurs with the webforms “phone” type field. Could you confirm if the webforms “phone” fields are supported for mapping to template fields? If not, what is the recommended approach to solve this? If I replace the webform phone field with a text field, it will no longer map to my recipient connections unde

I am looking for more documentation regarding the Finish Later Button experience. Is only one email sent out? Are there additional emails sent that contain the link? 

I’ve created a web form for use by people without licenses within our company. The web form is also easier for individuals who might not be able to fill a form out directly so a web form guides them through the process. This issue is my name being used to send every form throughout the company. The other issue is that I am notified every time a form is used, viewed and signed throughout its life. Should I create a service account within DS that I would use to create and authorize these web forms with?The idea of creating web forms for only use by myself seems odd. If I can share a form with individuals, why can I not share a webform for the same use?

Hi, I went to update my webform signature sections under recipient connections within the webform outline in my demo account. When I went into this page, it now states that each signing role requires a phone number to be collected on before I can save (under the signature section of the webform - see screenshot below). Before we only needed a name and email address linked from the webform for signers, but now it is requiring a phone number to be linked as well. Could this be because of we require ID.me for signers? Why is this required?   

Hello,When a web form has the "Initiate Signing Session from email" selected, the “Thank you page” is never displayed at the end of the session, only the generic Docusign page (https://apps-d.docusign.com/post-sign/finish-signing).Any idea?Thanks

I have a Web Form built with an eSignature Template that has two signers. All of the fields are assigned to the first signer except for two… the name and email address of the second signer. As a web form, however, the first signer enters all the information for all the fields, including the name and email address of the second signer. After finishing, when they see the final document to review and sign, all the data is visible except for the name and email address of the second signer, which appear blank to the first signer.If the first signer goes on to sign the document, it is emailed to the second signer, who can now see the second signer name and email in place, so the data definitely made it from the web form to the eSignature template.Unfortunately, this is confusing our first signers, and they are calling us wondering why it’s broken. So my question is, is there any way that the first signer can see the second-signer name and email fields when they go to sign? Anything I could d

We would like to create a template form to incorporate a customer qualification process and use DocuSign for signing off on each stage of the process. How we can structure the signing off process through DocuSign, and specifically how can we enable parties to sign off on their respective parts of the workflow?

Hello, Right now we have a process where documents may need to be signed by anywhere from 4-18 individuals. We leverage a webform with dynamic fields to accomplish this. However, the individual who is initiating the form and passing it onto the remaining signers has no way of easily knowing where the document is in the process. These individuals would like to be able to check and follow up with where it is in the process, who needs to sign, and when, etc. There is no visibility into the process. Any recommendations on how we can create more visibility in the signing process? Ally

i have looked at text and date fields but don’t see how to assign current date to a web form field.

Hello,I am currently using an Enterprise Pro account and am experiencing an issue while creating a web form. Specifically, I am trying to import a template that includes two attachment fields. Unfortunately, none of the attachments are being imported into the web form. Additionally, when I attempt to add the attachment fields manually, the option to add attachments does not appear.Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?
