eSignature

We have been experiencing the DocuSign links we send to our customers expiring before they are set to. We have them set to expire 120 days after sending and remind every 7 days. However, for the past 2 weeks we have had customers call us only 4 days in to tell us their link has expired. We can “resend” it and it will successfully open it with saved information. But, this is becoming a bit of an issue.   Thoughts?  Please keep in mind we have been using DocuSign for over 4 years with no issues like this. We have not changed any settings.

Recently, some our Docusign users with DS Sender permissions have been experiencing issues sending envelopes from the Docusign platform. When they click on Envelopes and then Send an Envelope, the action receives no response and after a few minutes, the request fails with a ERR_CONNECTION_RESET (201) error. This issue is occurring intermittently for some of our users.Anyone has faced similar issue? 

i was sent a doc to sign  ,I signned it now the link expired  is there any way to pull that doc back up  again please anyone that can help me get my doc pulled up  HELP HELP!!!!!!

When sending out documents to clients to sign , the data is getting distorted . Eg . The ‘Table of Contents’ page gets jumbled , the topics and their page numbers usually have spacking between them but now they are close to each other . As seen in the image , in the first line , the number ‘8’ should be below the ‘Page’ title . TL DR: “  when you upload a contract to Docusign , it distorts the content page when sent for signature “

Hello, I have a quick question. I want to get rid of the frame around the signature. I have changed my settings. I have cleared the cache. I have done everything. When I go sign the document, the frame continues to appear. I do not want the frame. How do I fix this? I have tried to sign it on the mobile app, but it continues to crash, and I cannot.  Thank you for any help in advance. 

we have a template we want to use for a bulk mailmerge. the cSV mailmerge template requires a ‘role’ at the start of each column. How do i assign to a role that doesnt require a signature?

Hello,I noticed the following. If, in a template with a predefined subject line, the ‘Customise email and language for each recipient’ checkbox is selected and then deselected again, the predefined subject line is overwritten with the file name of the stored template. The subject line remains unchanged even if the checkbox is selected again and must be adjusted manually. The email text itself remains unchanged.

The envelope was to be signed by two clients and an adviser from our company. The clients have signed but the adviser is now on holiday for two weeks. I want to change the third signatory to an adviser that is in the office and can DocuSign. Will making this correction resend the envelope to the clients to re-sign?

Hello, Can you please help me? I am unable to access docusign documents sent to me. When I click the button in the email I receive I get an error message. I pasted it below. This happens both when using a VPN and not. 

Currently, text fields feel extremely limited. If I need to type more than ‘x’ characters, the text does not wrap to the next line but instead runs off the page. This forces me to create multiple separate text boxes just to capture a single message. In some cases, I’ve had to make 10+ text boxes for what should be one continuous entry.It would be much more user-friendly if text fields automatically wrapped text and allowed line breaks (e.g., pressing “Enter” to move to the next line). This seems like a straightforward improvement, and I believe many users run into the same issue. Adding this functionality would save significant time, improve readability, and make DocuSign far easier to use for longer entries

In Docusign email notifications, the sender currently appears as the account's email address. Is it possible to add another email address so that the messages show more than one sender?If yes, how can this be configured?

How do I configure a document that requires one signature out of 3 people from same company ie one line in the doc for a signature so that the first approver moves the document and the others that didn't sign do not stop the workflow for the next company to sign.  Currently when I set-up multiple approvers when the first one approves it will not move onto the next company to approve.

We have some users of Docusign (not Signers) that get prompted to re-login if the system times out and then they get sent a verification code while others just get prompted for the password & get right back in.  What is different in their settings that we need to fix to avoid the verification code action?  Just to add, the users getting the verification code are NOT using a new browser or system.

Hi, I have several envelopes that were sent, and I can see in the status that they are about to expire in 3 days. What can I do to extend the expiration date? I don’t see an option to correct them.Thanks!

I want to create an alert to admin when a closed account tries to login to account, it should create an alert notification to admin with that account information

I signed a document through DocuSign, but I later discovered that the company that sent it to me has committed fraud.I would like to revoke my signature or otherwise invalidate the document, as I do not want it to be considered valid.Could you please advise me on the correct procedure to follow in this case?Thank you very much for your support. 

Hello,Our organization uses DocuSign envelopes where we must collect information exclusively in English. To ensure compliance, we need to prevent signers from changing the language on the disclosure page or information intake fields.Currently, signers can use the language dropdown to switch from English. Our goal is to either: Hide the language dropdown entirely and lock the page in English, or Set English as the default and disable the option to change it. How can this be achieved through account, branding, or template settings?Thank you for your assistance. 

Hi Team, I am trying to create a docusign contract for one of our customer. Their email address is ********* However, even if we use an alternative, we still get the same error message.  Error: Incorrect email address format. Verify the email address or contact your administrator for the correct format.

Has anyone else had issues with color on the website. The DocuSign logo in the right hand corner and my logo in the top right is in color but the rest of it is black and white. 

Can you update a document’s prefill tab after the envelope has been signed once?If not, must I create a new envelope each time I need to update the prefill tab?I want the ability to mark a user as “Rejected”, and I believe the only way is to add prefill tabs, but they get baked into the document after a user signs. 

Docusign should be able to trigger a date for last signature without setting a signing order. It’s frequently a headache in my law practice to set a signing order, especially when I have multiple parties and am trying to gather signatures as quickly as possible.

ello DocuSign Developer Community,I am using a DocuSign **Sandbox account** for testing and trying to create envelopes via the eSignature API. However, I am receiving the following error when sending envelopes:Error code: ENVELOPE_ALLOWANCE_EXCEEDED  Message: The envelope allowance for the account has been exceeded.The strange thing is that in my Sandbox Admin dashboard, the account shows **"Unlimited" envelopes** and only **51 envelopes used**. Environment details:  - Sandbox account email: ***email removed***- Account ID: **********- API SDK: PHP eSignature SDK (vendor/docusign/esign-client)  I would like to know:  1. Why is the API returning this error even though the dashboard shows unlimited envelopes?  2. How can I reset or fix the envelope quota for this Sandbox account?  3. Is this a known issue for Sandbox environments?Thank you in advance for your help.

How can the order of an attachment be manually set within a template? The default is that all attachments are appended at the end of the document.I am specifically using the Smartsheet-DocuSign integration so the option/solution would need to be available within that context.
