Offboarding Users Process

Hello - As the DS Admin for my organization, I’m focusing on creating offboarding processes for users who have been separated from the company. My initial process is when a user is offboarded or no longer needs a DS license, I transfer their envelopes to myself before I close their license. Is that best practice or is there a better way to handle the data? My goal is to keep the org’s envelopes/data within our environment. But one thing I notice is when I custody transfer the separated user’s envelopes to myself, I only get the envelopes sent by the separated user’s, not the envelopes they have signed and received. Is there a way to pull this information out as an admin?Any best practice tips on how to manage offboarding users and keeping the company’s data protected would be appreciated. Thanks,

How can I build a workflow with 48 different options?

I am trying to use Maestro Workflows to load a specific template that could be sent for eSignatures based on web form selections. However, it seems like there is a limitation on the number of branching rules that can be added. Here are my web form options:Which state?:Washington OregonWhat type of sale?: Home Home (cash) Home + Garage Home + Garage (cash) Garage Garage (cash)Use Flooring?:Yes NoWill there be a redraw?:Yes NoSo the possible combinations could be something like:WA, Home, Flooring, Redraw WA, Home-cash, Flooring, Redraw WA, Home-Garage, Flooring, Redraw WA, Home-Garage-cash, Flooring, Redraw WA, Garage, Flooring, Redraw WA, Garage-cash, Flooring, Redraw WA, Home, No Flooring, Redraw OR, Home, Flooring, Redraw OR, Home-cash, Flooring, Redraw etc.It looks like I would have 48 possible combinations from the selections. Could something like this be built by having 48 different templates?Can anyone help me figure out a solution to build this?

Completed Sign and Emails indicating Completed not in sync

My “Completed” contracts is not in sync with the emails that indicate completed. The completedfrom DocuSign emails is showing the actual number of documents signed and completed? Would there be a reason why it is not showing the correct competed contracts in the Completed link from the homepage?

How to set DocuSign to focus on changes before singing?

I’m making a template that goes back and forth between 2 parties.When party A makes a change to a data field, and the envelope goes back to party B. I want DocuSign to take party B to those changes and not directly to the signing required at the end of the document.  I’ve already set the fields to “required” but DocuSign still takes party B directly to the end of the document to sign, instead of directing them to review the changes.

Second version template and button from 1st version

Quick one,  I am working on Docusign in our test environment and completed the build. I have this button that was initially created through “Application Forms” Template and was working fine. I created another template “Application Forms V2” and replaced the templated ID in the old button and chose not to create a new button. Why do I get this prompt ?That wipes out the fields from the actual template if I chose to click CANCEL on the above prompt.This is prompting me to use the “Application Forms” which is the older version.

Bulk Sending with Unused Signature Fields

I have created a template for an activity report.  Each individual employee needs to complete and sign their form; it’s then reviewed by their supervisor and signed; then reviewed by their manager and signed.  The standard template works great and the .csv bulk send is successful.But here is the issue: some employees cross multiple projects and have multiple supervisors, meaning: the employee completes and signs their form; then it’s reviewed by two separate supervisors and signed; then reviewed by their manager and signed.If I attempt to bulk send to everyone with enough optional signatures to accommodate the multi-supervisor exceptions, I cannot bulk send.  Every employee would need an email for the second supervisor, even if they don’t have one.Any suggestions to accommodate a sometimes-used signature field?

Docusign Support to remove domain claim

I have been trying to work with Docusign Support for over a week now to get a domain claim removed since we closed our account back in September/October. Is it normal for Docusign Support to take days to respond to follow up requests? This issue has turned into a high priority issue since it cause our executives to be unable to sign anything we’ve received and business is coming to a halt.

How to place the senders "Job Title" as part of the message send with a template?

I’m creating a DocuSign Template and in the custom email sent to the signer I want to include the senders job title. Ideally I could have a variable/command in the template that would pull the job title from their DocuSign account and place it in the message. My research into this seems to indicate this isn’t possible without either setting up a field where the staff member needs to type their title every time or setting up an API. This change would affect hundreds of our templates, so I just wanted to confirm this was the case before I select a path.  Could I please get a recommendation on the best path forward?

Maestro Workflow related questions

HelloI have two questions in related to Maestro Workflow:Did Docusign remove Starting Variable from Maestro Workflow?  I have seen training video (might be old videos) where you can configure Participants and Starting Variables when one creates a Maestro Workflow.  But I couldn’t find where to create the Starting Variables when creating a Maestro Workflow. Is it possible to do a bulk sending a Maestro Workflow with a CSV so that recipients’ information in the CSV is available to the Steps within the Maestro Workflow.Thank you.Sam

SAML Map Profile Info

Is there any way to map additional info for user profiles through SAML mapping?  Job title, Company, Address, that kind of info.  If I can pass the info from our IdP, is there a way for DocuSign to map and apply it to our user profiles?

Finding invoices from old paid account

Hello, I downgraded my paid Docusign account and I now can’t see my previous invoices anymore but I need them ASAP. Because I now have a free account, I cannot contact the support to ask for the invoices.  Does somebody know where I can find my previous invoices or how I can contact the support to get them? Thanks a lot!

Need a human being for help

I’m trying to delete my Docusign account (auto renewal) as I have retired and the problem is I can’t contact a human being for help and no way online to get help without access to my old email account which I no longer have access to   Any ideas of how to actually get someone to help me?

Hello.  I need access to my other DocuSign account. I no longer have access to the email address the account was registered under. Because of this, I cannot retrieve and enter the access code. I still have the same phone number.

Shut off auto field detection??

Going to tag a document for signature, docusign scans the document and finds fields and auto-tags them, there is a popup to to “undo” (see attached). We hit “undo” every time. How do we disable this feature all together, it is annoying?

Accessing DocuSign

Hi all, I am unable to get a LIVE person on the phone, and the Sales Rep we have does not seem to answer emails.  How do I get help, we just need to change our credit card but DocuSign has totally locked us out of the system.  As you can imagine, this is quote urgent. Would appreciate any advice. Thank you!

Last Friday our customers started to receive an error, "Not All Tags Are Signed", even though all of the required fields have been indeed addressed. Has anyone else seen this, and if so, how did you get it resolved?

Where is the Close Account link on the Plan and Billing Page - It's Not There!

Need to get the idea about docusign IK Go live Process

Hi Team,I am working in an organization, and my manager has an enterprise docusign account (paid account, not a free account) at this URL: https://apps-d.docusign.com/. When I use his integration key to send an email through my application, the "Test Document" prefix does not appear. I am confused because I researched on Google and DocuSign sites, and they all indicate that https://apps-d.docusign.com/ is a sandbox account, so it should contain that prefix when sending an email.I created my own free developer account and tested it, and I did get that prefix. My question is: if I need to use the integration key from my manager's enterprise account, what steps should I follow? Do we need to follow the go-live procedure here as well? If yes, what steps should we take? Can someone explain these steps in detail?

No spacing in document

When sending a contract the all words within the contract have no spacing, this is only noticed when using a mobile browser, is there any way to correct this on mobile? Have mobile-friendly enabled. The document is a pdf imported into docusign. thanks in advance!

Adding a user button missing, option to open cases unavailable despite paid account

I am the administrator of a new paid eSignatureBusiness pro account with 1 seat and up to 50 users. I am using the seat. When I try to add users, there is no button to add users as described in the instructional video, only the option for bulk uploads by CSV, which I would prefer not to do. As I have a paid account, I attempted to request a callback about this, but have the message “Your Docusign plan does not support opening cases.” Can anyone help?

Help to see invoices 2024, not on billing page (can't reach support either due to being on a free plan)

Hi, I would love help from support, but since we are no longer on a plan I can’t seem to find a way to reach them, I get send from one place to another by the chatbot and am not allowed to open a support case.I need all invoices of 2024 and they are not in my billing page.Who could help me?Thanks, Marijn
