Hi, I’m creating a contract template and put in conditional logic to display certain sections based on a drop-down field. I also placed Document Generation Fields in those sections, is it possible to do so? I published this Document Template but am getting an error when I try to use the Document Template saying that my document failed to generate. I am trying to brainstorm why it isn’t generating.Thanks!

I am working with Docusign Gen Templates that will integrate with Salesforce CPQ quote fields.  I am trying to display address text on document based on the client address. If the client is in the USA I want to display the company’s US address.There is a formula checkbox that is intended to trigger visibility ("/SBQQ__Quote__c/US_Account__c" ). I have tried multiple versions to get this working but they all result in error messages that change from time to time. Using this checkbox field, how should I enter it on the Word document?found and tried the following:But received this:

hello!I am using Docusign Gen + ESignature to deliver documents via Salesforce. I am using anchor tags in my docusign gen document. i AM asking for advice on how to send to the document to multiple contacts at once where they can all fill out the fields on the document.  for example: i have 3 client contacts to send the document to who could fill out document, however only need one signature.my fields in my document are not specific to any signers - i want anyone to be able to complete the information in the document.  how do i build that signer order to accommodate this request?

Hello, We are using Docusign Gen Templates for document generation and for sending for signatures. We are using Word Document templates with special fonts for our documents. Headers: Montserrat Body: RubikThe templates and the merge fields in the template are in the right font format but when we generate PDFs it changes to Arial and Calibri. Any idea why this is happening and what can be done to fix it? Context: Using Salesforce => Docusign for the document generation, currently working in a Sandbox and a Docusign Developer org.

Hi, I am using a suppress tag to only show the discount row when there is a discount but its not working when the value of the discount is greater than zero. Hi there,I’m testing out DocGen for Salesforce and have been really impressed by the tool so far. The process is pretty smooth and easy to use, but I’m wondering about the flexibility of “Document Rules” under the “Upload Documents” step. As I understand it, these are designed to give you some conditional logic for dynamically deciding what documents are generated based on field data in the primary object. However, I’m wondering if there is any way to build rules that reference field data from related (parent or child) objects. In my case, the object I’m using is a junction for multiple related objects, so it doesn’t have all the field data immediately available. This was fine when building the document itself, but it doesn’t seem like I can reference any of those related objects for the purposes of a document rule.For example, my primary object (Contract) is related to the Product object, which contains data about the “type” of document I want to generate. Hello! We're using DocGen for Salesforce for our documents, and everything is working as needed except for having custom input fields be pulled into the doc before sending.We have Signature Placeholder fields for s1, n1, d1, etc, and those all work great when sending the document (which is connected to an envelope). We also have Custom Fields with anchor text set-up the same way, but when we go to send the document, it automatically adds the Signature, Name, Date, etc fields for signer input, but the custom text fields are not added until I drag them into the 'Prepare & Send' pane. Once I drag them in, the Autoplace that is set-up does put them where it should be putting them, but I cannot figure out what is missing to cut out this step of dragging the custom field in. I don't want the eventual senders to need to remember to do this for all the custom input fields every time.Thanks!

Using Opportunities, with Opp Line items,   on the opp I have a few line items, how do i get the associated documents for each product ( associated to the opportunity product)  and collect them into 1 envelope?

Hello! I am trying to build a quote and order form template using DocuSign Gen for Salesforce. I am running into difficulty finding the standard Discount field on the opportunity product line item in my selection of fields to choose from. Has anyone else ran into this issue? How have you resolved?

Hi all-Thanks for the advice in advance !!I have created a template from a word document. I added in the merge fields and it looks good and is pulling in good for the create page. I've also added signature and title blocks at the bottom. On the create page everything looks fine and is spaced correctly. When I go to the preview and or generate in salesforce, the bottom pieces are all jumbled together with no spacing for the signature blocks. How do I make sure create looks the same as preview and generate? There's clearly something I missed or something is broken. Thank you.#Frustrated 

Is it possible to have a formula detect multiple variables from a dropdown tab using an if statement? For example, If([dropdown menu]= 9 OR 8, 1,0) → the goal here is to have the formula produce a 1, if the dropdown menu is either 9 or 8. currently, it seems to only work with one variable. If this is possible, what is the correct syntax or formula structure? 

Our users generate envelopes using a template. From the template, I would like to include placeholders that reference the signer’s organization and other custom fields used in the document (contract number, end date, etc).Is it possible to insert and populate custom field placeholders in envelope messages or private messages using templates? Can this be done when sending envelopes without a template?
