I have a personal account where I want to send a document to be signed. I need to add fields, but it’s giving me this error message:The account administrator has disabled adding fields.I don’t ever recall being a part of any group. I checked my settings and I have admin privileges, but there are some settings I can’t edit. However, I can’t see anything in the settings that is preventing me from adding fields to a document I want to use.In contrast, I had my friend create an account, and they were able to do everything normally. What am I doing wrong here?

Hello, up until today, I have always used the free version of DocuSign with no problems. I ONLY sign my own documents that I prepare; I never send them via email to be signed by anyone else.  I never ran into any issues with the number of documents I could sign. Since i never send them, I never had to worry. As a matter of fact, my homepage still says I have 2 sends left.  However, when I tried to upload a new document to sign, I received this message: “The envelope allowance for the account has been exceeded.”.As I previously mentioned, I never had to worry about a signing limit.  I’ve signed many documents in a month, sometimes over 15 with no issues.  I’ve been using DocuSign since 2018.  Can someone help?

’m unable to receive OTPs (both SMS and call) from DocuSign despite the authentication limit being cleared. My mobile number is correct and active  I’ve: Verified that my phone isn't blocking unknown numbers or SMS Tried switching devices and networks Ensured DND is off and no third-party blocking apps are running Still, no OTP is being received. Could someone assist in checking if there’s a delivery issue on your end or if my number is blocked from receiving DocuSign messages? Thanks!

We were downgraded in June 2024 and we were double billed today June 2025.No way to get in touch with support and Support page won’t let me log in. We ONLY NEED THE ONE SEAT. Someone needs to call me back ASAP!

Don’t know why the ghost box shows up but I can’t select it or change it and I made sure it wont show up in preview but obviously it is very confusing why its popping up and not going away.

By using Web Form, I have set up a process where an employee needs to find an envelope using information from a specific field in the webform (an adress field). I’ve tried to use the the advanced search option to include a search for custom fields, but this does  ot seem to work.  Any ideas?

Hi, I have a Developer Account, and doing integration into the custom CRM. The account details indicate the use of “97/Unlimited. However, I received a server error message during signing process. Number of recipients per envelope: 2-3:errorCode\";s:24:\"RECIPIENT_LIMIT_EXCEEDED\";s:7:\"message\";s:104:\"The recipient limit on the envelope has been exceeded. The cumulative recipient limit has been exceeded.\";}Can you tell me what the reason might be? Are there any limits for developer accounts?

Hi! I help Real Estate Agents with their paperwork, and a common issue we’ve noticed is the first signer of the DocuSign receives a time stamp in an incorrect time zone, but the second signer doesn’t. We have the time zone set correctly in our DocuSign Preferences, and so do our clients. For some reason, it still is showing Pacific Time for the first signer, even when their settings show Mountain Time. Has anyone else had a similar issue? I’d love any help!

I’m trying to configure my document/contract so that certain clauses, selected via checkboxes by the first signer (myself), trigger the appearance of (my counterparty’s) initial fields.|While I can set conditional logic for these fields based on whether a clause’s checkbox is checked, the challenge I face is that the conditionality of the initial fields is only available for myself aka the first signer. I’m unable to get the second signer’s initial fields to appear conditionally based on the first signer’s selections. Essentially, the dependency rules for the checkboxes don’t carry over from the first signer to the second signer.Any help or workarounds? Much appreciated!

Do we have the capability to pull history showing the last time Users accessed the system?  If not, I’d like to request it for future updates?

We have a ticket outstanding since April 25 (DocuSign Support Case: 15133785) which we are getting  little to no response to despite repeated requests via email for an update.  this is  really disappointing Docusign especially when we have paid for a product that we cannot use. Please can a member of the support team contact me as a matter of urgency   and  ensure that this be resolved  at the very latest by end of June 25  Thank you

In my DocuSign developer account, i can see the option to add a shared user and manage shared access. However, in the DocuSign production account, i do not see the option available

Hello Community,in our signing process users should be able to send attachments with the agreement. So I created an Envelope Template and included the fiels. One of the fiels is a PDF with fields to fill out, but not in the signing process, because it is a request document for later services. Now the problem is, that the fields to fill out are not longer available after the process is finished. Is it possible to send the Service-PDF with the fields to fill out still available?I read, that I should add it as supplemet document, but then in the Contract the anchor fields are not working anymore. Hope someone is able to help me. Thanks and have a nice day,Sven

‘Sign (they stopped using my full name, so I guess they just want to use last names, regardless of how rude it sounds) no longer gives me the option to Cancel my account. Instead, they continuously charge my credit card. This means that if I let the available credit slip below what ‘Sign wants to charge me, I will then be charged that amount - even though I do not use their service. For the love of your greater deity (if you have one) - how do you get ‘Sign to stop charging you or otherwise let them know you no longer need their services? Thanks!Sean

How to Lock Recipient Name option prevents recipients from changing their name when adopting a signature?

I am using a Mac desktop with the latest IOS Version of Sequoia 15.5. I go onto the car website with Safari to fill out purchase agreements for real estate and then when I try to send them to Docusign it opens up a new window like always but then I get this code“You have attempted to access a restricted URL. If you feel you have reached this page in error, please contact your internal system administrator . Transaction Id: 0437242e-388a-4af6-ad16-adef839229cc”I have cleared all cookies and caches, I have allowed pop up windows to open up. I don't know why I keep getting this code. Then when I us my Apple laptop It opens up just fine. Im looking for some help here on what the problem could be on my desktop.

The last time someone sent me a document to sign on Docusign, the system made me create an account - though I already had an account. There were errors, but because the document was created by someone else, I couldn’t correct them. I have a professional name and a legal name. This document had to be signed with my professional name. One of the mistakes was that the document contained my legal name. I emailed the other party and asked them to correct the document. They did, but now, because my account was created using my legal name, Docusign kept auto populating the corresponding signature - though that was no longer the name/info on the document.Second problem is that the signature always comes through teeny tiny with no way to control its size - unlike say markup in PDF.Third problem is that the Docusign authenntication header covered/masked the top line of the document making it unreadable. The addition of that header also threw off the pagination so that the information at the foot o

We have access to In Person Signing.  We have access to e-Witness.How can you conduct an In Person signing in combination with a witness (probably the host)?

Hello.I do a ton of long form subcontracts that are 40 or more pages. Each page requires the initials of both the sub and the contractor. I have to manually assign each and every page. Is there a way to do this quicker?  Thank you!

Is it possible to redact a file in Docusign once a file has been signed. Example is that if we have a data access request, can we redact files in Docusign instead of doing the whole PDF redaction bit?

Just as title says. I am looking to cancel after accidentally upgrading to a new plan. I did not know you guys hide the downgrades when selecting plans. I have been with docusign for three years; what happened to the customer service at this company? This is absolutely ridiculous.I’d like to cancel my plan, I’m within 30 days of purchasing it and it’s a yearly subscription so I’d like a full refund. The ridiculouly useless chat bot tells me to open a support case, however there is no way to log in to the support website.P.S I am heavily involved in social media in the real estate industry and will be discussing your absurd new business practices in my next posting/podcastThank you

As of the past few days, I am receiving the message, ‘no results found’ when I enter an email address in the search bar for completed documents. However, I can find the document if I scroll through the pages of completed files that are listed.  Why is this occurring all of the sudden?  It is making it difficult to recall signed files that I need to retrieve.

My company uses DocuSign to complete legal applications related to foster parent licensing. Since there are so many required documents, we break them into “packets” of multiple documents to be completed in stages. A staff member wanted to know if it was possible for a recipient to return a packet even if not all of the forms are complete. I imagine this could be accomplished by making all the fields optional, though this would likely result in a large number of forms being completed erroneously. If anyone has any ideas on how to better structure our envelopes, I would be grateful. Thank you.

How can I make it so that the people I share access with on DocuSign can only see the documents I’ve sent for signature, and not the ones I’ve received to sign?

I cannot find the option to claim a domain in DocuSign developer account
