Since DocuSign isn’t supporting their users, how do they expect anyone to open a case if they’re not a paid customer, and if their Chat option isn’t working? Are we supposed to communicate by smoke signals, or telepathy?You need to get your act together and provide real support, for users, not just government contract customers.So, explain to me why the DocuSign Envelope ID number is no longer included at the top of each page when you sign a document, and then explain who made that hare-brained decision, and what you’re doing to fix your Chat function — which never opens a chat window.Email is a required level of functionality for all users — paid or free. Chat doesn’t work, and since you’re claiming that you provide support, failing to actually do it means you’re a target for a class action lawsuit, which will definitely hurt

Hello,I would like to know if there is a way to allow the signer to choose the TSP (Trust Service Provider) when signing with a qualified electronic signature. Currently, the sender must select a specific provider in advance.Our scenario involves adding recipients from different countries, and in many cases, we do not know the exact TSP provider they have. Is it possible to allow the sender to specify only the type of signature (e.g., qualified or simple electronic) and let the signer select the exact provider during signing?Any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance!

We are using Docusign Apps Launcher. I have a DocuSign Gen Template where I want to put text box fields that are NOT merge fields. I want them assigned to the first signer in my DocuSign Envelope Template. I do not see how I can create the field tag in DocuSign Apps launcher without anchoring it to a field in Salesforce. This is not a field that is currently in Salesforce, and we don’t need it to be, we just want it on the template. On the Word document I put \name_1_text\ and \nameparent_1_text\. When I go to send the document, I do not see these fields pulled into the template assigned to signer 1. Is this possible to have just a text box field on the Word Gen Template and have the fields assigned to signer 1 in the Envelope template? 

We have a user profile (as a “service account”) designated to be the Owner of our Docusign Web Forms, Templates, and Power Automate Flow Connectors. Every quarter, this password must be changed in Docusign. After I change the password in the user profile in Docusign, I have to launch Power Automate. I believe that I then have to open dependent objects that have a stored connection containing this user’s credentials in some way to get the prompts that will ask me to authenticate this user’s credentials again. I can respond to the prompts and update the authentication credentials at that time, but only if I get a prompt to do so. However I don’t know how many objects in Power Automate need to be “refreshed” manually so that they do not fail when triggered. We have standard Docusign Connectors but we also have a Custom Connector. How do I know that all of my connections are updated? Do I have to trigger flows that use all of the affected connectors? I have DocuSign eSignature integrated with Salesforce, and I’m trying to build a workflow for NDAs. The desired flow is:  A sales rep triggers the NDA from Salesforce. The NDA (as a Word document) is first sent to our in-house lawyer for review and redlining. After edits, the lawyer sends the redlined version to the client for their redlining. Once all redlines are resolved, the finalized NDA should be routed for signature and automatically saved back to the Salesforce record.  Is there a recommended setup within DocuSign + Salesforce that supports this kind of internal-editing → client-redlining → final-signature workflow? And should this be done via document markup inside DocuSign, or external Word redlining and then re-uploading versions?We have Docusign E-Signature licenses. Not sure if I need another license for negotiate or CLM? 

Dear DocuSign Team, We recently started using the DocuSign new shared access feature in our organization, migrating all the actual access from the old to the new feature. After that, I discovered that the new feature is designed to not allow users to access a shared envelope via a direct link, which caused a huge manual work for some of our departments. Do you have any plans to enable the link access for the new feature, or should we rollback and use again the old feature? Thank you,Raafat

I would like to know how to, or request a feature, that makes it possible at admin level to customise the default subject line prefix that appears in sending emails.Currently this always defaults to “Complete with Docusign:” and this wording has on many occasions caused documents to be overlooked by recipients - the feedback I get is they see the word “Complete” and think it is a completed document, not a request for a signature, especially for our internal signatories who receive lots of documents for signing. This problem is compounded by the default subject line for finished documents starting with “Completed” - this just seems like a major UX oversight.It is frustrating to have to go in and change this on every envelope. Hello,Someone sent me a document to sign.I don’t want to sign.I don’t want to open the document, in which case they will receive a notification that I opened it. This is commonly used by scammers/fishing-attempts to fish for info or actions on things that take place on my end.I have been getting daily reminders for a while now to sign. It’s annoying. It’s a waste of my time to get these emails daily and to handle them.I have emailed the sender asking them to stop sending these. They did not.How can I stop getting these reminders to sign? It’s costing me a lot of time, grief, computer resources, and general annoyance, and it’s generally unfair to me to be bothered with this stuff daily.Thank you in advance.

I’m an admin and have provided shared access to one user account to multiple users. When the users are trying to correct bounced back emails by using the Resend button, they can go in and commence correcting it, but then an error message appears “Something went wrong. Please try again”. The envelope is then showing status of Correcting, but no one can access it. The help material says this should be ok in 15 minutes, but not the case. When I test out trying to correct the envelope there is no issues. All users have been given “edit” access.

I am reaching out to share my terrible experience with DocuSign “support” and seek advice on accessing the non-profit discount.In August 2025, I carefully read all the eligibility guidelines for the non-profit discount, which is verified through a third party service, Goodstack. Nothing in the instructions or on the Goodstack website indicated that a Goodstack account was necessary for them to complete the verification. The instructions from DocuSign indicate that Goodstack will reach out to you for any verification needs after you complete the DocuSign non-profit sign up (which requires a credit card). So, I applied via DocuSign, and my organization was immediately declined and charged the full amount for our account. I then began what has been an over two month journey with DocuSign “support” of trying to find out why we were denied and hopefully resubmit for approval. “Support” bounced me to over 5 different people who’s only answer was “we don’t know why you were denied,

Hi everyone,I’m about to send out around 300 documents and trying to automatically include the client name in a completed PDF file name when sending from a Business Pro account. This is so I can bulk upload the agreements into our broader ERP system, and I’m struggling to get it working.Here’s what I’ve done so far: Created a Custom Field (text) called ClientName Added this field to my template  Set the template name to include {{ClientName}} Tested by sending an envelope to myself and filling in the ClientName field As the client/signer I can complete the field ok and the document content looks fine But the completed document file name never updates — it always ignores the merge field  My questions: Does my account require an additional module or settings to make this possible? After all parties signed my document, Docusign changed SOME of the terms within my document into gibberish/symbols.I use Zipforms for my contracts, and only SOME (not all) terms that I included in the contract where changed to symbols once all parties finished signing.The issue is NOT my PDF viewer, as I viewed the document online within Docusign itself, and it shows the symbols.  Yet, on the previous completed envelope, that PDF does not have the issue.I’m going to resend a new envelope for re-signing, and we’ll see if the problem persists.  Yet, I’d love to know why this occured when I’ve never had this issue in 18 years using DS.  

All i wanted to do is create a document that needs a signature. Now I cannot retrieve the document because my reset password is not accepting. I cannot get to the chat box for support to pop up. For a document to be scanned and emailed back, to this process has wasted a tremendous amount of time. And this process is also painful.

I am using DocuSign for 2 complex medical consent forms related to Embryo Adoption in our IVF program (I am a fertility doc). We will need to use the online notary function. It is very important that we get this right as disputes over frozen embryos are sadly not uncommon (Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb)...This is simply beyond my abilities so looking to outsource. I have been trying since last April to get subscription canceled, get refund and thought it was taken care of until I got renewal notice in email tonight. When my PowerForm is accessed through the URL, a message comes up that indicates they need to click a link. The link isn’t clickable and they have already gone to that URL to get to that point. Anyone know how I can get rid of that notation?  

We have many templates where signatories are divided in two parts. Someone from the first team signs  (signing group) and then someone from the second team signs (signing group). In between both signatures we have a step where a third party receives a CC mail, where they are notified the first team has signed so they can start their own, non-docusign related work.  The second team signs only when this third party team has completed their work, which is notified by email and not via docusign. The issue I have is that this third party intermediary should not be able to see the signatory of the second signature, for privacy reasons. By adding them as “CC” in a middle step they also have access to the final document, which includes the signatory of the second step and their details (name, phone number for OTP, email, etc.).My ideal scenario would be a “notification” step where the third party receives notification and knows they can start

I have clients that might need to add an additional document, however, it would be as needed per client and per their discretion. Is there a way to give recipients the option to add an additional document? It would be the same document they are already signing, just additional ones.
