Automatic Combined PDFs

At the moment when a customer signs a contract both ourselves and the client are sent separate PDF attachments. All of clients and ourselves require the combined version, so we have to go in and download these individually for each contract. Would it be possible to automatically email over the combined PDF attachment once something is signed

We are, however, working on an ongoing enhancement to provide better service to our valued customers like you. We cannot provide a specific timeframe for when this enhancement will be implemented, but rest assured that our developers are working on it to make it happen as soon as possible.

Hi,

Unfortunately these settings are already switched on, so aren’t what we require.

We’re looking to combine the 3 separate PDF attachments automatically.

Not sure if this is the correct place to put in a comment for the DocuSign development team but I’ll try.

I have the same request as c.hollins that we would like to see the document and certificate being sent out via e-mail as COMBINED, not as today in separate PDF’s. Users do not realize that they have to keep the certificate togheter with the document and I see it time and time again that the document is in circulation with out the certificate. It drives me crazy having to chase down the certificate and explain the importance of this.

It has been a year since this thread started and I was hoping that DocuSign had added this into the service offering but I am getting nowhere when I ask your support for this and I am not sure it has been passed on the your development team. Please add this to your service!!!

If I am not mistaken, the challenge with the combined document downloads is that the actual signatures are replaced by one single Docusign signature. That might not hold in court since all you have as “proof” is what is stated in the Certificate of Completion.

Particularly for cases where you want to have a signature level legally equivalent to wet ink you’ll probably want to preserve the signatures in the original documents and therefore not save only a merged version but rather the actual document and the certificate of completion separately.
