every time I go to set up a document to sign, I have to change the font and text color for each field. Is there not a choice to set my individual choices for my envelopes and save it as a default? thanks

Hi @sberry,

Welcome to the DocuSign Community. It is great to have you here.

To help you get started, here are two ways you can set your preferred default fonts and colors for your envelopes.

Option 1: Update Account-Wide Settings (For Administrators)

If you have administrator access, you can set a universal style for all future envelopes across your account:

  1. Go to the Admin tab in eSignature.
  2. Select Sending Settings from the left-hand panel.
  3. Scroll down to Fields and Properties.
  4. Locate Default font for fields and click Edit to choose your preferred font, size, and color.
  5. Click Save.

Note: This change is universal and will apply to all fields moving forward.

Option 2: Create a Document Template

If you frequently send identical documents, you can format your fields once and save them as a template:

  1. Go to the Templates tab.
  2. Click Start > Create Template.
  3. Upload your document and format your fields with your chosen fonts and colors.
  4. Save the template.

When you are ready to send it as an envelope, go to Agreements > Start > Use a Template and select your saved layout. You can create as many templates as you need.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.
