How can I bulk download my signed envelopes WITHOUT downloading any other application or doing some kind of programming?  I’m using DocuSign in a corporate environment and I cannot download/install applications.  Frankly this is a basic feature and there should be as simple as “select all” > “download” under Completed Agreements.  It’s ridiculous that this feature is not readily apparent.

I appreciate your responses.  But again, I cannot install additional applications, and I cannot use third-party storage (Box, Dropbox, Google, Sharepoint, OneDrive, Smilin’ Ed’s Down-Home Data Farm or anything else) in my computing environment, nor do I control which software my company buys or uses.  The simple answer is that this basic feature is missing from the product and DocuSign doesn’t care how many of its paying customers want it, and that is the feedback I will provide to my IT department in the hope that they find better software to replace DocuSign and I encourage others to do the same.

Hi @corporateuser,

We appreciate you reaching out to the Docusign Community and are delighted to have you join us.

I understand your concern about downloading all documents from your account, especially since you are unable to use any application for bulk downloads. I’d like to help by sharing some options that may address this situation.

Currently, Docusign does not provide a built-in option to bulk download documents unless an application or integration is configured on the account. Docusign offers features that automatically send documents to a cloud storage solution via Docusign Connect. This needs to be set up by an account administrator, and proper permissions must be enabled. I recommend reaching out to your account administrator to request assistance.

In the meantime, I’ll be sharing an article on bulk downloads with Connect for your reference.

If you need further guidance or have any questions along the way,  feel free to let me know. I’ll be glad to help.

Sincerely,

Thank you for your reply.  I cannot use Box because it doesn’t comply with my company’s information security standards, and in any event I wanted a solution that works WITHOUT another app or service.  In any event, it sounds like the answer is: you can’t do this unless you use some third-party workaround that isn’t available to me.

Given that variations of this question going back years are still posted in this forum with no direct answer, saying the feature is not “currently” available seems a little misleading.  I take it the answer is: DocuSign does not make this basic feature, which users have been requesting for years, available to its paid subscribers, and there are no current plans to do so.  Pretty pathetic.

Hi @corporateuser,

I appreciate your response and understand why that would be frustrating. Your feedback is absolutely valid, and I’m sorry for the experience and the inconvenience this limitation has caused.

I know why this feels like a basic feature that should be available, especially when third-party solutions aren’t viable due to security requirements. There are a few workable alternatives depending on your setup.

Consider the Agreement Actions feature, which allows administrators to configure rules to automate common post-signature tasks for completed envelopes. It will automatically perform tasks such as archiving documents, starting workflows, and exporting data. This connects with predefined apps like Docusign CLM, Box, Dropbox, Google, Microsoft OneDrive, and Microsoft SharePoint. While Agreement Actions do not provide a native bulk download feature, they can help automate document handling by routing or storing completed agreements in your preferred system, which can serve as an alternative. For more information, kindly refer to this article: Evaluating Agreement Actions

Docusign also offers the Retrieve feature, which is an add-on feature and is available to specific plans. This will connect to your account using the API and automatically pull completed envelopes and their documents in bulk. FAQ for Docusign Retrieve . Available options for bulk download requires an administrative permission.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback. We truly value your input.

Sincerely,
