eSignature

Hey folks, I recently build a quick export to DocuSign feature for one of our customers at BaseStation. We basically lets you upload a flat PDF, recognize all the inputs/tabs then you can export them into DocuSign as a template. This has help my client’s templating team 2x up their quarterly templating effort. Would this be useful for anyone here? I know this feature could get way more complex ( conditional fields, conditional docs, multi signer etc ) so before I invest any further want to get the community’s thoughts on whether anyone’s team could see adding this tool as part of their work flow. ps. would be cool if there’s some who want to turn flat PDF forms into PowerForms too. Would love to learn your use case

I write multiple contracts with 200+ pages for backup, fairly frequently. Due to the current max 25MB restrictions, if the backup exceeds the current capacity, I use another platform for electronic signature, such as BlueBeam. So, what are the benefits to Docusign if another platform can preform the same electronic signature functionality with no size restrictions?

I have missed DocuSigns because they end up in my Spam Folder.  Is there a work around for this ?

Hi All,  We have rebranded and I have two accounts one with my new email and one with my old email. Is it possible to merge these please?

How do I remove the DocuSign ID that is posted at the top of all documents? I can see many help articles for the old experience, but can't see anything for the current experience.

I can't figure out how to password protect a completed DocuSign PDF whilst keeping the 'signed and all signatures are valid' section intact to prove it is an officially completed Docusigned document. Can this be done?

Hello,I have an envelope template which requires two signers. The first signer are customers that we work with and the second signer is somebody internal whom has to sign off on the document. I want to find a way where the second signer can view the details of the first signer, but when the form is complete, the first signer cannot see the details that was input into the form once they receive their completed copy.Is this possible? How can this be done?

There is an error on my invoice, so I try to contact Docusign Support. But no success.None of the login options on https://support.docusign.com/CSP_DSClogin?ec=302&startURL=%2Fs%2Fcases work for me.Choosing “eSignature, IAM Applications, Rooms, CLM, Notary” I get:“Unable to log in.If this is your first login attempt after purchasing a DocuSign plan, allow 15 minutes for account creation before accessing your account. For all other log in scenarios,  contact DocuSign Support  for assistance.”Which brings me back to the open the case page and back to non-functioning login. C’mon guys, really? is it how badly you want to loose customers that you don’t even give them the option to contact you?

If i create an envelope with multiple documents and multiple signer (ex. 2 docs and 2 signer)if i dont sign one of the documents of envelope with a specific signer, and terminate processall docs of the envelope are considered signed? how can i down the status of the single docs?

Hello,I am trying to sign an XML file with eSignature.Similar to the manual use of a certificate. Is that possible?Currently, I cannot upload the XML.Where can I enable this in the admin console?Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

Hi,I am fairly new to DocuSign. I have successfully sent one ‘Bulk Send’ file two weeks ago. Now trying to send another, I am getting a ‘Bulk Send Error Message’ stating; Tab is placed off of the page. Tab is located off page 1.  I have ensured the check box is inserted within the margins of the document and sent using a CSV file but still getting the same error message. Any thoughts appreciated.

I have a confirmed accessible Word document that I have uploaded to a template.  I have made sure all fields have meaningful data labels and tool tips.  I have sent the form to myself so I might test the signing experience with NVDA.  (I am just learning how to use NVDA by the way.)I am able to navigate through the fields just fine.  All of the fields announce properly.  However, there are additional paragraphs that provide important information that are not part of the form fields.  How do I tell the screen reader to read them?  I have tried NVDA + Down Arrow: Start reading from the current position. NVDA + Control + R: Read the entire document. NVDA + Tab: Navigate between interactive elements and content. These do not read the content of the document.   The ability to read the content of the document as well as the form’s fields is vital in a Government situation, especially in a Release of Information form or a Tennesen warning.  In these cases, there might be only one field - the s

We are sending hundreds of contracts for our clients to sign weekly but we need them to sign with a signature matching their ID. When they once adopt an incorrect signature and we send them a new envelope to fix the signature, they are unable to change it. There’s no way to do it. This is the most basic functionality of DocuSign and users should be able to access the signature adoption window again and update their signature. Online support has not been able to resolve the issue or even schedule a time for a videocall in 3 weeks time and all the community chats seem to not know the answer to this issue either because there isn’t one. This should be an easy fix for your IT department! Can you please create a support article that is plainly for free users trying to change their signature after setting it, and clearly state that this is impossible. Then list the steps for contacting the sender so they can make whatever changes are necessary on their end. It will save many people hours of t

When trying to sign a document via Gmail or GDrive using the Docusign eSignature for Google Workspace add-on I’m getting “DocuSign encountered an unexpected error. Please refresh and try again or contact support.” error message. Clearing cache, switching network, using a different browser doesn’t help. The add-on  installed by admin and is allowlisted.

Hello,I have a problem with a bulk-send template. I created a template where the name of the employee and its personnel number should be populated out of an CSV file and should be first signed by the manager and after that signed by the employee. I have now two custom fields “Employee::FullName” & “Employee::PNr” which correctly fills the section but just AFTER the manager signed it. The issue is now the manager signs a document where he does not see for which employee it is. They only see the populated fileds after the signature of the employee. Is there a way that the document is populated with the information of the employee before the manager signs the document? and just after the managers signature will be sent to the employee to finalize it?Best,Alex

I have updated my signature to a handwritten version, but my name still appears as typed text instead of the handwritten signature.I don't know what to do anymore. Please help me.

Hello,I’m unable to pass the identity verification process using my passport.Could you please check what is going wrong on your side?My passport is valid (expiration date: June 2031).I noticed a consistent pattern: On the first attempt, the system always rejects my passport with the error "Wrong document shown", even though I’m using the correct document. On the second attempt, the passport is accepted, but the recognition process takes a very long time. After completing all steps, I receive the final error: "Your identity has not been verified". The sender of the document cannot change or disable the verification requirements, and I urgently need to sign a work contract. I’m at risk of losing my job if I cannot complete this process.Could you please investigate my case and advise what can be done?Thank you in advance.

Our administrator is no longer with the company, and we need to assign a new administrator. How can we accomplish this?

Our HR dept on many occasion has to send a document which has several signature fields in it that they need to sign. Is it possible that these fields can be auto filled by signing just once?If yes, can this also be done with multiple documents so long as they are in the same envelope?

I can use the home page one time to click on a previously signed document, then forever after when I come back to it the ability to scroll disappears after 2 seconds and I can access my documents. This is really frustrating, I can’t use Docusign at all while this bug is happening.I suspect the cause might be to do with the popup telling me my trial will expire soon, which pops up the first time, and after I close it things work, but after coming back again there’s just the delay before scrolling breaks as though it’s trying and failing to show me a popup?I am going to have to cancel before my trial expires because I have time sensitive documents to sign. Also, it’s really difficult to navigate the support for a new user. The categories are very cryptic.

is is possible to set up defaults on our accounts so that we are not changing every single field when setting up an esignature file? I want to be able to start a file to send to a client and not have to go and change the font and color for every field. it is super cumbersome.

I have a free docusign account I’ve had for years.  I received a document to sign and imported a signature written on an 8.5x11 sheet.  Sent it back.  It cannot be accepted because the actual signature is too small. So, I need to change my signature.  I cropped it down and am trying to import the cropped signature.  Nothing works.Within the document I need to sign, neither left clicking or right clicking brings up the “EDIT MENU”So, I go to my account.  I log in, and go to my “MANAGE PROFILE”.  No signatures show up.  Only name, address, etc.  I go to my profile and click on “SETTINGS” and there’s nothing there about a signature either. HOW DO I CHANGE MY SIGNATURE??? I would be glad to delete my account and open a new one, but I didn’t see the option of doing that except for the 15 day trial.  I’m an individual.  I don’t need to pay to sign documents.  I shouldn’t have to go to all this trouble to esign documents. On the “Why Can’t I Change My Signature” section of the docusign web page

On startup of the print driver, once it is idle you get a popup notification at the bottom right corner of the screen that says that the driver is idle. This is unnecessary and I don’t see a way to turn it off.

Good morning.I am working on a DocuSign Template for our HR department and they have a clear demand and that is that they only want 1 DocuSign document will existi with all signatures without those provided a signature having a copy of what they have signed? If this possible within DocuSign. So, for example:HR department fills in a PDF with fields Document is send to department head (for signing) Department head signs and using Specify Recipient  The new recipient (will always be someone from our company) will get the document to sign He signs Document comes back to HR and HR is finally signingNow the wish of HR is that by the end only one document (number 6) exist in Docusign without having any copies of those signed previously the document. Seems to me impossible to achieve but……Thanks.

My free trial expired. I purchased a monthly subscription.  When I logged in after that purchase and attempted to send my document, when I hit send, I received an “account suspended free trial expired” notice.  I have paid for my account. I have the receipt. This is extremely frustrating as I just made the decision to purchase a paid account. There is no phone number or email address to get help.
