Embedded Sign Partially Signed

If i create an envelope with multiple documents and multiple signer (ex. 2 docs and 2 signer)

if i dont sign one of the documents of envelope with a specific signer, and terminate process

all docs of the envelope are considered signed? how can i down the status of the single docs?

Thank you for your question and I’d be glad to clarify how DocuSign handles document completion within an envelope.

In DocuSign, the completion status is tracked at the envelope level, not the individual document level.

This means that if an envelope contains multiple documents and multiple signers, all required documents must be signed by all assigned recipients for the envelope to be considered completed.

If even one signer does not finish signing one of the documents, the entire envelope remains incomplete, and none of the documents will be marked as completed.

DocuSign currently does not provide a way to “downgrade” or check the status of a single document inside an envelope.

If you need to track completion per document, the recommended approach is to send each document in its own envelope so each one can have an independent status.
