verify forged Document

I was signed up to a loan contract I never actually signed. The finance company are refusing to give me certain docs pertaining to the loan. On the loan agreement they did send, it is docusigned. It has an envelope ID, but should there be an IP address to track location or how can I prove it is a forged doc?

Template editor breaks when switching documents

Edit: This has been tested on both Firefox and Google Chrome with the exact same results. I also rebooted my PC completed to rule out many other issues. Ive been using the new template editor since it launched and I never had any glitches. But now, one of my templates seems completely broken.I have a template with multiple documents within it. I can edit the first document with no issues, but now when I switch to the second document, the page completely breaks.1) First, my cursor jumps to the top of the page and is locked there. I an unable to type anything on the page or delete/format text.2) Clicking on paragraphs does nothing, but if I double click on them, it highlights the whole thing and the rulebuilder icon shows up. Even if I click the rulebuilder icon and hit cancel, it still doesn’t go away.3) If I try to click back to the first page, I get a choppy grey overlay over everything (but no pop up menu). And at that point, the page is completely frozen and unresponsive.Here are im

Descriptive text for custom document fields

Hello,I have created some custom document fields. These contain descriptive words in the signing view, such as the location or a special number to be entered. If the signer then wants to fill in this field, he still has to remove the words “location” or “special number” before he can enter his own text.What setting can I use to display a descriptive alt text for the document fields, which does not have to be deleted when the signer clicks on the field, but simply disappears?Many thanks in advance!

Can DS Admin view and download all envelopes?

Hi, we are trying to assign Admin roles and need to know if DS Admin can view and download all envelopes? When we test the DS Admin role, it seems like the access does not allow us to view and download any documents / envelopes sent out and signed by our company users unless shared access is granted. If User resigns and we don’t have access to their envelopes, then the documents will be lost forever?PS: We are not using CLM.

Can Sender Complete an Envelope that was Printed and Wet Signed

One of our users sent a document to a provider for signature. Instead of completing the documents electronically, they downloaded and wet signed the document, then gave the physical copy back to the sender. Is there a way for the Sender to upload those documents to the envelope to complete it out? Or does it have to be the recipient that has to do the upload? Sender didn’t want to void it out but he doesn’t want it sitting open as incomplete either. Your help is appreciated!Thanks,Ann

File appears broken after uploading

Upon uploading the file I would like to have signed, it appears to be broken and Docusign cannot show a preview or allow me to place any of the necessary fields onto the document. Has anyone had this issue before?

All i get in Adobe Pro is below and it tells me nothing. I could achieve the same by copy pasting some signature screenshots and adding a small text-box via docusign.

Template Editing Issues

When editing templates, I choose Template in question, right click the 3 dots on the far right and choose Edit. The 1st page comes up, Name, Description, Document Upload, etc., etc. I press Next. Here, sometimes the Template Builder window opens, sometimes it doesn’t. The times it doesn’t, it goes directly to the document itself as though I’m creating/sending an envelope. This is really driving me bananas. Any ideas?

Prefill tabs through Python SDK

Hello Docusign team, I am using Docusign eSignature and I have created a template using the Docusign UI. I want to create envelopes from this template using the Python SDK. I have a couple of tabs that I want to pre-fill before sending to signers, so I used pre-fill tabs when creating the template. The problem is, I cannot find a way of prefilling these tabs using the Python SDK. I have seen an answer suggesting that pre-fill tabs should be used only on the UI and not on the API or SDKs. Is that true? I have chosen prefill tabs because, as I see, regular tabs are associated with a specific signer, and I want all the signers to see the values that I prefill. Which option is best for my case: regular tabs or prefill tabs? If I choose regular tabs, will all the users be able to see the values I prefill or only the user associated with the tab?Thanks in advance, Alisson Porto

I need help embedding a document signature on my website.

I am trying to generate a URL to embed a document signature on my website. The URL is embedding successfully, but the problem is that my document template has two roles: "admin" and "user." I want to generate the URL for the "user" role. However, sometimes the generated URL shows the signature area for the admin role, and other times it shows no option to upload or add a signature. I have researched the issue and found a suggestion to check the recipient ID. I checked the recipient ID for the envelope ID "". Urgent: Unable to Sign Document Due to SMS Authentication Issue While in Japan

Hello DocuSign Community,I'm facing an urgent issue with my DocuSign account. I am registered in France, but I am currently in Japan and unable to receive SMS for authentication. This is preventing me from signing important documents.My situation:My DocuSign account is registered with a French phone number. I am currently in Japan and cannot receive SMS on my French number. I have an urgent document that needs to be signed. I cannot change my phone number in the account settings due to the same authentication issue.Could anyone please advise on how I can quickly resolve this? Specifically:Is there a way to change my authentication method to email instead of SMS? Can DocuSign support temporarily disable SMS authentication for my account? Bulk send - Users claim have not received envelope.

Hi,I need assistance with an issue regarding the bulk send function. I sent an envelope to approximately 180 people, but the majority claim they never received it. However, the history shows that the envelopes were delivered on the day they were sent. Last week, I was asked to resend the envelope to these users, and some even show as having viewed the envelopes. The managers believe it might be a glitch with DocuSign, but I don't understand how the system can indicate delivery if the recipients didn't receive it. They have all checked their junk folders, and the email addresses are correct.Thanks

ISSUE - Sender no longer receiving email notifications

Hi All,For the past couple weeks I have not received any email notifications when sending out an envelope. I have Docusign integrated into Freshsales and send all envelopes through Freshsales. Everything was working fine and both I and the recipient were getting email notifications as expected. But for the past couple weeks I haven’t gotten any email notifications as the sender. I haven’t changed any settings in either Freshsales or Docusign. I double checked all of my Docusign settings in both my Account Preferences and in the Admin Settings. Everything is turned on so I should be receiving email notifications for every little thing that happens with every envelope that I send. I can still see all the action when I log into my Docusign account, but I’m not getting the emails. I’ve read the following community posts and support articles. I’m trying to establish a destination to a completed signed using power Form. The instructions provided to do so are these:In Docusign Admin, click Brands. (Learn more about these steps in the guide about Branding.) Locate the signing brand you want to configure and click the action menu and select Edit. In the Advanced Configuration section, click Destination URLs. In the Configure Destinations dialog, for each action you want to configure: Click in the value box. False mail notifications and entries in history when signer has not clicked into envelope.

We are experiencing an issue whereby senders are receiving notifications that recipients have viewed an email, and it is including phantom entries into the envelope history of this action, when the action has not taken place. Is anyone else experiencing this?As it is documenting actions by a user which are not taking place we dont feel that the legality of the envelope history is valid (we have tested several times and when an envelope is received it is stating that the envelope has been viewed when the link has not been clicked on). Support have been no use at all, so hoping some others may have suggestions or at least acknowledge they may be experiencing the same.
