How to get a QES through DocuSign? I understand Docusign is a QTPS.

If you do not already have a verified digital identity, you usually do not need to pre-register separately with DocuSign first. With DocuSign’s current QES flow, the identity proofing is typically done during the signing process through DocuSign ID Verification for EU Qualified or another approved provider in the workflow. The signer is asked to verify identity with a government-issued ID, and in some cases a selfie/liveness check or a video identification step, before the qualified certificate is issued for that signature.

You can send DocuSign Support a request to confirm whether your account has been provisioned for DocuSign ID Verification for EU Qualified.

Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community! I completely understand how confusing it is when you're expecting to set up your QES in advance, but can't find where to verify your identity.

I definitely agree with what ​@JohnSantos mentioned. Even though Docusign acts as a Qualified Trust Service Provider (QTSP), you don't set up QES directly inside your account ahead of time. Instead, QES is typically triggered during the signing process and requires identity verification at that moment.

If you're planning to send documents using QES, you may need:

• The QES feature is enabled on your account
• To select a QES-compatible signing option when preparing the envelope
• To add an identity verification configuration for qualified electronic signatures (QES), your account plan must include ID Verification Premier.

To further check, is the email address in question the same as the one you use here in Community?
