Some of our letters need only the day of the month and not the entire date.

When I try to access the settings, it does not allow me to modify.

For Example it will say On this day _____, of March 2024. But Docusign wont allow me to change the settings.

Hello, @NYDebtAway

You can create a Formula field then use some Date functions like Day(date).

See this article for details.

I hope that solves your issue, if so, I’d appreciate your mark this as the “Best Answer”.

Thank you,

Alexandre

Function Day([date])  returns day (1 thru 31) fine.  And there are no Docusign functions to get month and year values from date, is there any alternate solution to get Month and year values in the separate fields ?

For example : Signed on this day _____, of ____ month of year ____.

I can’t see where this is specifically mentioned on any plans.  Can someone confirm what this would fall under so I can see if my plan has it?  It’s hard to imagine it being on par with plans that necessitate drawing fields or radio buttons.

Hello @s.f
A similar idea has already been submitted for this request. However, it is not currently planned for development and has been marked as parked.
Although it’s not part of our current roadmap, suggestions like this are valuable and may help guide future decisions if priorities shift.

Hello.

It doesn’t need development. It was already developed when the longer iteration was coded.  It’s literally just isolating the numerical portion of the extant code.

I know that you personally don’t make those decisions, but at some point, one has to wonder why DocuSign is avoiding doing something so simple, yet not infrequently requested by its user base.

Thanks, anyway.
