Hi all,

I have 22 users set up on our business account with one person receiving an error message when uploading to an envelop to say the file size exceeds 25mb. However, a different user on our account seems to have been able to send it without any issues whatsoever. They are both trying to create the envelop in the same way so not sure what is happening. Any advice or suggestions as to why this is happening. They both have exactly the same set up re permissions etc.

Thanks in advance!

Katie

There is a file size limit of 25MB per document. If your documents are larger than 25MB you may convert them in a different format, e.g. save to PDF or compress the PDF to reduce file size before uploading to Docusign eSignature.

We need to sign pdf files of sizes 65MB.  Is there a workaround?

It seems that the limit was increased from 25MB to 50MB.  Am I correct?

Hi @adrianmizzi
Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community! We appreciate your question and assure you that we are fully committed to providing you with the best service possible.
Yes, you are correct; the file size limit increased from 25 MB to 50 MB.

Along with the file format, there are file size and page count limitations for your file uploads using the Docusign web application.

MAXIMUM FILE SIZE 50 MB
RECOMMENDED FILE SIZE 5 MB
MAXIMUM # PAGES PER DOCUMENT 2,000 pages
MAXIMUM # PAGES PER ENVELOPE 5,000 pages

For best performance, Docusign recommends restricting your file uploads to no more than 5 MB.

The 50 MB maximum file size limit is the maximum size of an individual file uploaded to an envelope.

For the completed PDF to be included with the completed email notification, the size cannot exceed 5 MB. If the completed documents are larger than 5 MB, the email provides a link to the documents on the Docusign system.

Yes I know that. We are in the build industry. Occasionally we have PDFs of 75MB. It is rare. But you need to understand that in our business high resolution designs are the artefact! We cannot sign on aow-res version. Or precisely, thinks will complicate. The jump from 25MB to 50MB was a step in the righ direction. Perhaps you can consider increasing the limit?
