A Docusign user sent me a document a few months ago before I had a Docusign account. I am unable to locate that person. Now that I have a Docusign account in the same email address used to send that document, is there any way I can access it?

Hello @wjm99,

Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community!

If you didn’t have a DocuSign account when the envelope was originally sent, it won’t appear in your account afterward. The best way to access it is through the completed email notification you received at the time.

For more details on how to access your signed envelope, please check this link: 👉 How do I access a signed Docusign document?

I hope this helps clarify things! Let us know if you have any further questions

Hi Jenny, thank you for replying. This is my email notification. Can the document be retrieved?

Hello @wjm99,

Thanks for sharing more details. It appears the envelope was voided after reaching its expiration date. Unfortunately, once an envelope has expired and is marked as voided, it cannot be retrieved.
