One of our customers was offended by one of the name choices on the ID Check Identification Questions. One of the first name choices was Guido. I have attached a screenshot that was provided by the client. I have created a support case, but I wanted to pass this along in hopes the forum moderator could bring it to the attention of the support team.

Hello @Cullen

Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community!

We’re sorry to hear that your recipient felt uncomfortable with one of the ID Check (Knowledge-Based Authentication) questions. We understand how situations like this can be concerning, especially when it impacts the recipient’s experience.
ID Check relies on third-party data provided by LexisNexis to automatically generate identity verification questions. These questions are derived from public records, and the content, format, and answer choices are entirely under the provider's control. As a result, neither DocuSign nor the sender can view, modify, or customize these questions.
While we recognize your concern, this aspect is outside of DocuSign’s control. However, you do have flexibility in how recipients are authenticated. As the sender, you can choose to:
Enable or disable ID Check
Use alternative authentication methods such as:

  • ID Verification (government ID upload)
  • SMS or phone authentication
  • Access code

If a signer is unable to complete ID Check, the recommended workaround is to resend the envelope using a different authentication method that better suits your recipient.
