I am listed as an administrator; however, when I attempt to change or adjust any of the advanced options, my ability to adjust is locked.  It tells me that I have to see the administrator to enable access. I would like the ability to change the reminders and expirations on my envelopes so they don’t expire before I can act on them.

Our unit has different types of DocuSign envelopes that have different retention policies per federal and institutional policies, so we are unable to use the current global “document retention policy” setting. We would love to be able to specify the retention period on a template or envelope basis at the time the envelope is created.Example: Envelopes created based on template A have a document retention period of 90 days. Envelopes created based on template B have a document retention period of 5 years. When creating an ad hoc envelope, one of the envelope setup options should be “set envelope retention period?” with the option for the sender to specify one. 

I have tried to correct a sent document however it will not allow me unless I upgrade my subscription to allow more sends per month.If I delete this sent document can I reclaim the credit or has the credit been used? I do not wish to upgrade my subscription as the level I have is sufficient for my needs.

A few days ago, my work colleague created a developer account. Everything worked for several days without any problems, envelopes could be created and emails went out. Since yesterday no more emails have arrived. We have tried several email addresses with several providers, spam folders are empty. DocuSign says email is out but nothing arrives at any of them.I have also just created an account and generated a demo app for C#. The same behaviour, I enter the data in the console, a message appears that everything has been sent successfully, but nothing arrives at any recipient.Are there any problems with the test accounts at the moment? 

My organization needs to be able to sign checks to make payments to vendors electronically. QBO does not have this feature and I am endeavoring to use Docusign.1.) Will vendors be able to cash checks in California/USA with a Docusign signature on signature line2.) Is there a docusign addon that works with QBO to add the signature when I go to print?

I am trying to sign a document/send an envelope and I keep getting an error saying “Unable to create the envelope. Cannot access envelope resources under an unpersisted envelope.”. I have tried loading a document that I know has worked successfully in the past so I know the document is not the issue. How can I resolve this issue?

Hi, I run a health care business & I would like to implement a new patient/onboarding form via docusign, however this could run into 1000s of envelopes? What would be the most cost effective way of doing this across 2 branches? Thanks,David

Hi there,I have a shared inbox set up for a group at my company. The method I used to set this up is they have a shared email that I share the envelop management with the members of the team. BUT when I share templates to the shared email user in DocuSign, those templates do not show up for the users in the inbox. What are some troubleshooting steps I can take on this? The workaround is to share the template with each individual user, but I would rather manage at a group level. Thank you!

Does DocuSign retain and provide access to audit trails for 3 years?

I have a business account and my staff have access to their accounts though when I sign into my admin account it just looks like it’s a free account and I don’t see anything regarding my company though when my staff look at previously sent docs, the email i’m signing into is the one cc’d to the envelope. I’ve sent emails out to our Docusign Sales rep and support but it’s a rather urgent matter. Does anyone have any helpful information?

I have received a Document to Sign, but when I click sign, it applies an old signature I had 5 years ago. I need to change that signature. I went to my account, added a new signature and deleted the old one.But when I open again that document to sign I have only available the deleted signature, and I cannot access the new one (that is the only signature I have now, actually).If I click on the signature I don’t have the option to change it.What can I do to sign it with the signature I choose?

I’ve recently deleted the email address associated with my docusign account. I no longer have any access to it.  I’d like to update my docusign email address to my new one however it seems to be sending an security code to the deleted email. Is there any way I can update the email address now? (I am still able to log-in on my computer however when I try to log-in on a different device, it asks for a code).

Hoping to get some help as this has happened twice now. I create an account for eSignature, activated via email and paid for a plan, but less than an hour after sending my first envelope, the envelope disappears and it’s like the account was never created (existing password doesn’t exist and the email now shows up as an option for a new account). I’ve also got the receipts and bank confirmation that the money’s been taken. I also can’t get anyone from DocuSign support to get back to me because I can’t raise a support ticket because there’s no way for me to log into my now overpaid account that appears to no longer exist. 

We’re still in the process of assessing DocuSign using Demo Environment. After the update to version 4.0.3, even after Granting Consent through DocuSign Admin, we’re getting the error ClientSecretCredential authentication failed. What other configuration is required for this to be working again? 

1. Is it possible to request for an ID verification add-on to a Docusign Standard Plan? I would need to require my signers to upload and verify their ID upon signing the envelopes.2. If not possible, is there any workaround without upgrading to a higher plan?3. Does Docusign Standard Plan support any type of verification for the signers?

Why can't I change or how can I change the security questions that DocuSign has for me to verify? I have PTSD from a previous marriage and almost always when I get sent a DocuSign email notification from a company I’m forced to answer the tquestions that remind me of my traumatic experience in order for me to open the document for me to sign. I dread and si’m scared to open it. I shouldn't have to be subjected to trauma every time I need to sign a document from DocuSign. I have had a case open about it since 2022, my case number is 10093355 it has yet to be resolved. I have since remarried and clearly there's other things in my life that DocuSign can retrieve from Govt agencies or Lexus Nexus to verify my identity. There's no way to get in touch with anyone about this. DocuSign is not recipient customer friendly because in order to get some one to call or speak with a live agent via chat about this, you have to pay. Hello,I am attempting to sign a document and wanting to type in one text box only. When I type, the text automatically appears in another text box and does not let me delete it without also deleting in my desired text box. Is there a fix to this?

I recently upgraded from the standard paid version to the business pro version. However when trying to utilize some of the features like uploading a template, the feature is not available. Of course that led me to the admin page as I am the only user, and the one who started the account. Under my name nothing is listed under permission profile and there are no other users. When I click on that tab a warning pops up for about 1 second in an orange box that stated “warning add an administrator profile”. However when I try to edit my name it fails to load user information. Basically I am stuck in a loop of apparently not having an admin even though I am the only user and have the rest of the admin functionality. Needless to say it has been a very frustrating few days trying to get help on this, and it appears DocuSign themselves could care less as there is no way to contact them. Hi team,Over the last few days, when I download a signed envelope to my computer, the pdf is automatically becoming password protected. I have no idea what the password would be.  Any ideas on why this is happening? It’s only affecting me out of our whole team.

I am taking over ownership of one of the two DocuSign accounts within our organization from one of the founders of the company. This founder will still need to sign documents within almost every envelope sent out.His DocuSign account has only one user, so I changed the name and email address from his credentials to mine. I am able to log into DocuSign and send/receive envelopes. However, he is unable to log in or see envelopes sent to his email address.What do I need to do to fully change ownership of the DocuSign account to me, and also allow him to log in as an end user to sign documents?Thank you for your helpMary

Hello!I’m working on creating several templates that will include a pre-filled signature for one of our company representatives. I’d like the templates to have the individual’s signature pre-populated prior to the form being sent out for client signatures, as this form is sent out multiple times a day.Is this possible? I’ve been doing this work on Docusign’s site directly. The sender would not be the same individual who has the authority to sign. Any recommendations are welcome and appreciated!

Can files saved in Rooms in a DOCUSIGN Account that you no longer utilized be transferred or saved to Workspaces in a new DOCUSIGN account?

Hi, I’m testing sending envelopes from My Templates in the developer portal.Docusign reports that they are sent but the recipient doesn’t get them.They appear in the Sent folder under the Agreements tab and if I add my Docusign account email as a recipient, it appears in the Agreements Inbox.Is there an issue with Docusign sending emails from a developer account?Regards,David

Has anyone else experienced an unexpected renewal charge for their docusign accounts purchased through techsoup?We purchased an initial 5 perpetual licenses through techsoup and had no renewal charges over the past few years as expected. Recently we added 5 more perpetual licenses, also through techsoup following the same process we had in the past with no issue. At our renewal date only a couple months later, we were surprised to be charged full renewal rate $1500 for the 5 perpetual licenses we just added!We currently have a ticket open with docusign support but there has been no progress, aside from this being explained as a possible engineering issue(?).  Anyone else experiencing issues with their techsoup renewal?
