I am the creator of a contract that needs to be signed by my client. I cannot figure out how to add my custom signature to that document before I send it to the client. What am I doing wrong? Must I email myself, as I would the intended recipient?

Sending to multiple people but only require one their signatures to proceed

Hi, I am wondering if there is an "or" functionality where as I am able to send a document to two people (from one department) but only require one of their signatures in order for it to progress to the next signatory? In other words, I send out documents for signing to different departments but only need one signature from each department but I'd like everyone in that department to be able to have the chance to sign and once it is it goes to the next department. Please advise if there is a way to make this work! Thanks Jimmy

Can I set document visibility for non-signers in an envelope?

I have 3 document and 2 signers(internal and external). The 1st signer will sign only on the 1st document and I have a automatic tag set on the 1st document for that. The 2nd document is an internal and information only document with no signers and must be seen only by the 1st signer The 3rd document will only be singed by the 2nd signer and I have automatic tag. The 2nd signer should not see the first 2 documents. The 1st signer should see all the 3 documents but sign only the 1st one How can we achieve this through document visibility?

Is there a specific in-application training tool that works better with DocuSign templates with PowerForms?

We have multiple DocuSign templates each with a PowerForm. Each template has multiple different forms. For training our users, we would like to use an in-application training tool so that information is readily available during signing. We do use ToolTip but have a need to display more information,reminders,alerts, etc. I looked on-line and there are multiple ones. Is there one that works better with DocuSign? Any information/recommendations will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

Why do some signers have their names automatically change after signing their contract?

For example, when sending out my company's contract, I enter the signer's information as "Andy Abat "with their email "andyabattang@gmail.com". However when they receive the contract to be signed, the name automatically appears as "Independent contractor". I've tried resending the contract with the same information and re-adding their contract information, but always does this when inputing the same email address. The only solution I found is to have the contractor enter their names manually instead of adding a Name field to the template.

How to format signatures to fit properly on the template?

I have around 20 signatures to obtain for my projects and absolutely do not have time to test every name length/custom signature to make sure everything looks perfect before sending out a final envelope. Does docusign have some way to format the signatures to fit a box upon signing. As it is now, it inconsistently applies a margin to the top, a margin to the left and that's not even accounting for those with custom signatures. What happens is that the signatures constantly overlap other objects on the page.

Sending document to multiple users separately (with secondary signing order from different recipients)

Hello Admin/Experience users, I have this one PDF document that I need to send to multiple recipients to sign (1st signing order) then routed to their peers/direct reports to approve (2nd signing order) Example: Envelope #1 Document #1 sent to Person A to sign then routed to Person B to sign. End. Person A reports to Person B. Envelope #2 Document #2 sent to Person C to sign then routed to Person D to sign. End Person C reports to Person D And so on and on. I have been doing these manually by creating each envelope, set signing order 1 and 2 then send. Then make a copy then edit the signing orders then send. Is there any way I can send these in bulks? It is getting too manual to send as the recipients list keeps on growing. Any pointers on what I need to do is always appreciated. BTW, at this time, my profile seems to be the basic profile. I can not even create a template on my own. Perhaps let me know what kind of access I need to inform my Admin to enable would be great! Thank You, D

How do you send an envelope to be signed without document email attachment(s) being generated at any part of the process?

Hi all - I send envelopes with documents to be signed regularly, but certain documents contain sensitive information that I don't want floating around in an email. However, when you send an envelope with documents to be signed, and the signing is completed, the confirmation email contains a copy of the document as an attachment. I do not want this to happen since one would presume Docusign emails are unencrypted (if I'm wrong, please correct me). All I want is for everything to be links and there never be an email attachment at any part of the process. Would really appreciate any help or advice. Thank you!

Remove Envelope Id printed on Document

Hi, I am trying to remove the Envelope ID from the pdf document sent to the signer user. How can I create an approval/declination process that will keep the data on the form when a document is disapproved?

What I am trying to accomplish is preventing our CFO from receiving a document if the pre-approval process declines an application. Our signing order goes like this: Originator - Fills out the form and submits to the borrower Borrower - Reviews and signs all related fields Borrower 2 - This signer is removed if there i only one applicant during the signing order process but, has the same type fields to complete if there is a co-borrower. Approver - This is the internal approval process and will approve or decline the application. Current practice is to decline to sign so the CFO doesn't have to see the document but, the fields they complete for the declination are saved blank and is a regulatory hit to not have the decline reason documented. CFO - Final approval IF original approval is given. Otherwise in current practice if declined the CFO will not receive the document as it is declined to sign. Servicing - RECEIVES A COPY no other action required within docusign. The goal I want to
