How do I lock a template before using?

Question

Hello! Wondering how I lock a template before using it?

I am wanting to lock the template e.g. a user will click “use template” , enter in sender/signer fields and then hit send straight away as opposed to editing the actual agreement template?

Hoping this makes sense, would greatly appreciate some advice on this!
