Releases

Is there a way to allow senders access to edit fields in a template but not allow them to create a new template?  E.g we have legal releases, we want staff to be able to edit fields in the release but not have the ability to upload a whole new release in the docusign platform- we want to limit that to a narrow group.

How to bulk export form data?

We used a template 37 times to get responses to the same question. I want to bulk export the form data so that all 37 peoples info is in the same spread sheet (like an export from a survey or online form). Is there a way to do that?To be clear, NOT the envelope data, the form data from the fields in the document.

I used to have my email address saved on the log in page, but now I have to type it in every time and it’s a long email address. My password is saved. Is there a way to have DocuSign save my email address?

Can DocuSign create secondary accounts for branches under one main company account

We are in the process of opening another branch of our company in another province. However, even though our parent company name is the same, the “Operating As” name is different. Is there a way to use the same DocuSign main account to send documents from both locations, but to be able to differentiate between the two locations, send they are using different “Operating As” names? It is imperative that the recipients see that documents are coming from their associated branch, in the right province.  Or, do we need to set up a secondary DocuSign account for the new branch?

Auto populate data from previous form

Hi all, I just started using DocuSign. I got a template created with the relevant custom fields needed. I need to populate the template automatically from the step before the document signing (the form is coming from TypeForm). How can I link the data to the custom fields? I cannot find anything related to this on the docs.

How to get the Formula field to work?

What I need: How do I get the formula field to work? I’ve been trying to get something much more complicated then this to work but not a single thing I do manages to get the formula field to work. I take two Text fields give them data labels of Comoneten and Comtwoten, give them a value of 10 and then build a Formula field that is [Camoneten] + [Camtwoten] and the fx does nothing. Swap to numbers fields, nothing, remake the Formula field just in case, nothing. What am I not understanding about Formula fields?What I really want: I have a series of questions on a document that I want to add up the numerical value of each response. I have 6 questions all that can be answered with Yes, Sometimes or No which correspond to 10, 5 or 0 and once all 6 questions are done I’d like to get them summed up.Currently I have Radio Buttons for the responses and then each of those and a Read Only field with 10 5 and 0 Hidden and only set to show up if the right button is selected, then I have a Formula t

My executive receives dozens of contracts daily and is very concerned about accidentally signing a document that hasn’t been previewed by our legal team.  As a result, when contracts come in, he always forwards them to general counsel who then routes the contract to the right lawyer and then that lawyer confirms whether the document is approved for signature. Since he spends most of his time in meetings there’s always a significant backlog of sales contracts and I’m looking for a solution to streamline this approval process.  My solution was to setup a shared inbox for our lawyers to screen contracts and instead of routing to my executive directly, we would route contracts to the shared inbox for legal to review before reassigning the contract to my executive. I thought that my exec would be notified when (shared legal inbox) had reassigned a contract for signature, but instead he only sees who sent it (not who reassigned it).  I’m wondering if there’s a way to display 1) who reassigne

If you have more than one user on your account are the emails generated from the main account or the users assigned email? How can you subscribe to multiple branding without transitioning to an enterprise account?

Our company recently decided that we did not have the headcount to justify the cost of an enterprise account. With that said, we are thinking the best approach for our company is to transition our current HR account to the business pro web-based plan and instruct our employees with current accounts to merge or transfer their users to our account as it allows up to 50 users. This way we can consolidate our users to one account and not have 5-10 different accounts, if that makes sense. If we do this, when we add these users to our account (HR’s account) will the emails they generate come from their emails we assigned to them or will it come from the main account (say HR’s account)? Is there an option to subscribe to more than one branding option without having to open an enterprise account? The business pro web-based plan looks to only have one branding option, but we’re likely to branch out to other subsidiary company that I am sure would like to brand their emails separately. define a final receiver, who does not see all approvers

Hello, can we organise within an envelope, a chain of approvers/signatures (internal to the company) with a final receiver of the document/report, who does not see all approval steps inherent to DocuSign ?  or do we have to foresee a separate emailing of report to this final receiver ?  thank you for your suggestion.
