Email Configuration

Hello, I would like to put the "review documents" link in the email that is sent to recipients at the bottom of the welcome email that is generated by Docusign. Is that possible? We would like to customize the email that is sent out to recipients as a welcome email with information about hiring date/time/location and other pertinent information. So, we want to ensure that the recipient reads through the whole email before reviewing the documents to sign. Is there a way to restructure the email so that the custom welcome email is viewed first with the "review documents" button at the bottom? Thanks!

Template Restrictions but allow Signer Role change (Host a Signing on iPad)

Hello all. I want to publish templates to my sales team. I do not want them to be able to change the data fields that have been created (move, edit, delete, etc...). I have figured out how to protect the document....perfect, with one exception. I do want them to be able to change the Signer Role so they can use their iPads in the field to collect signatures if they are in person. (ie Host a Signing) By default the signer roles on the templates are set to "Needs to Sign" which shows up as "Remote" on the app. I would love to do this via the Docusign app but Safari or Chrome access would be okay too. My suspicion is that by locking down the templates I have also locked down their ability to change the Signer Role. Any suggestions?

Using one template for ALL documents

We have approximately two dozen different documents of varying lengths and content that need to be signed. All of the documents have the same signature block ("Authorized Representative"), but they appear at differnet places within the respective documents. I know I can use a "floating signature" based off that character string of "Authorized representative", but can I set up just one template that ALL documents can use with this floating signature logic? From what I read the "matching" feature of the template requires a match on the first/last 25 words, but in this case I don't want the template to match on anything - I just want it to take ANY document I send it, look for "Authorized Representative", and apply the signature. I understand the inherent risk of having such a loose template protocol, but I was wondering if this was even possible. Thanks very much!

Can customers sign with out emailing it

Lets say I'm with a client right now and I want them to sign the document as of right now in the docu website. Do I still have to email it to them to let them sign or I can do is use already my phone to let them sign infront of me using my phone .

Attaching documents in Docusign from signers

Is there a way to attach and upload documents requested for information in Docu sign? i.e. can my senders attach and upload documents in docusign or is there a secure link available in docusign for them to upload and attach requested docs?

PowerForm - option to disable recipients from editing another recipient's info already pre-set?

Hi, I created a PowerForm for 3 recipients, the first 2 recipients need to complete and e-sign the document. The 3rd recipient is set up as "CC RECEIVES A COPY" in the template. When I test the PowerForm, I noticed that I'm able to click in the email address of the 3rd recipient and delete and/or change the email address. When the PowerForm goes live, I don't want any of the recipients to be able to click on the 3rd recipient's email address and delete or change it. Is there a way to disable this? Does DocuSign provide an option to disable recipients from editing a pre-set recipient information? I tried to use the Advanced Setting on the Edit Template page for "Recipient Modification" but I don't think it is the correct application for this. I also tried to search for this topic in the Community, but couldn't find any postings. Thank you!

Manage Signed PowerForms or do Bulk Email?

I am stunned at the lack of functionality of DocuSign. I obviously did not kick the tires enough before I purchased a plan. I made a template, made a Powerform, tested the power form and thought, "Great!" Now I am trying to manage the forms and the interface is one disappointment after the next. I am with a soccer club. I need the same forms signed by 700 players. I want to use PowerForm and post the link to our website. Problem 1: I cannot add any fields to identify the user. Name and email only. I want users to be able to enter parent name, player name, team, email. This basic function is not an option. Problem 2: Since I have no identifying information, I will need to look at each individual parent name, look up their child, look up what team they are on, move that form to that folder. Problem 3: No bulk download. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I will open 700 forms and download them individually? One of our forms is a medical release that needs to be present at each game. The principal legal issue is whether electronic signatures are legally binding under the law governing the contract. Is there a listing of which jurisdictions allow electronic signatures for contracts?

Sending a copy of a document to multiple recipients

I have a consent form that needs to be signed by parents. I have a list of 500 parents & their email addresses. Each email address needs to receive their own copy of a form and fill out their child's name, check a box indicating a preference & sign the document. Currently, I have only been able to send the same document to multiple people, but in my case, each person needs their own copy of a document. Is this possible without having to individually send the document 500 times?

Text and Signature Fields not saving to templates that are shared

I'm having trouble when I share a template with the signatures and text fields saving... so if one of my associates choose one of my templates and just sends it, there are no fields to fill in or places to sign???

Autoplace field types - specifically where does Title come from

Using AutoPlace fields for signature and name and data successfully since they clearly are prompted for when using the AddRecipient function in a workflow in Dynamics 365 but since there isn't a specific field to map the job title of the person, where is the title autoplace field type pulling from? It appears that the first time it is an editable blank field to the enduser and if you send to the same person again, it remembers the last title and uses that. I want it to be able to pull from Dynamics but I do NOT want to use a template since templates are of little use to how we use this since our documents are not static in length. We use autoPlace fields and with Title being an option, need to simply know where DocuSign thinks the title is to pull from.

Change signature in completed document

Hi, I was invited to sign a document. I had no account at that moment. Accidentally I chose a custom signature. I couldn't change it since I wasn't registered. I finished the document, signed up, changed my signature and initials and now I can't enter the document to use my changed signature and initials. The document is still waiting for three other people to sign. How can I re-sign the document with my new signature? Thanks.

Can I pass radio button values and checkbox values through a URL using Powerforms?

Can I pass a radio button value and checkbox values through a URL using Powerforms in DocuSign? These values would come directly from an application, and I wish to have them auto populate along with the other information from my website. Fortunately I have found a way to autopopulate everythig except my radio buttons and radio buttons.The plan is to have whatever values are associated with the clicked or selected check boxes and radio buttons appear in a bcustome text field in my template. I am not sure how to do this. I saw that you add to the URL witht he role and custome tag, but what would go int he value portion if i do not know ahead of time what the user will choose or who the user even is. powerformURl&role_custometag=Value I would appreciate the help. I am also aware you can use the API, but you cannot combine API with the Powerform. thanks in advance for the help

We are looking to embed a DocuSign offer letter into a webpage experience. Do we are going to send candidates a unique URL that takes them to a welcome experience and we need to embed the DocuSign document specific to their offer on a webpage. Has anyone done a unique DocuSign like this?

PDF: Acrobat Document Properties > Security / Restrictions: how to allow "Document Assembly"

When a document (e.g. Word) gets signed a PDF is automatically generated. In Acrobat under "Document Properties > Security" I noticed that "Document Assemly" is set to "Not Allowed". Is it possible to configure docuSign so that Document Assembly is allowed? Background: a downstream application (publishing system) can only process PDFs where Document Assembly is allowed. Thanks,

Add Information to Completed Document

I am the DocuSign Administrator. One of the individuals who completed and signed a now fully executed document neglected to add text information on one line. As the administrator can I edit this document to add the information? I don't seem to find a way to do so. Thank you.

Notification of one person signing when multiple signers required

Hi, do you know if its possible to get notified when say one person signs when there are 3 people required to sign? At present we will get an email once all signers have signed the documents. Can you find out as soon as each person has or it has to wait for all 3 to sign before we get notified?

Change Text Name on signature

Can you advise if an Administrator can change the Text name of the person receiving and signing the document? For example: change the first name from Bob to Robert. Can the admin. for DocuSign update the first name or does the person receiving the document to sign have to update their name. Thank you
