I’m unable to finish document signing, because ID verification is not successful.

According to IDNow (the verification provider), DocuSign doesn’t accept my new passport issued in Dec 2022. And the reason is that it is somewhat new version of passport, which can not be accepted by DocuSign for verification.

Could you please provide the way to sign the document.

@MDA

Thank you for reaching out here and sorry to hear you are having challenges with the IDnow verification.

All ID documents that can be currently used for identification via IDnow are listed here.

There are various reasons why a new passport cannot be used for authentication. Docusign itself does not make the decision which documents are accepted for ID validation. This may either be because it was not yet approved to be compliant by the regulator (ANSSI) or the verification provider (IDnow) did not yet add it to the list of supported documents and train their agents to correctly validate the ID document.

If the Docusign envelope is set up to require IDnow and you are unable to complete the verification due to the document not being supported. You may try with a different document, if available to you or reach out to the sender of the document to clarify what other options are available.
