I am using the trial version and testing creating a template - previously i was able to add fields on now when i go to add any field to the document there is a red no entry sign?

Is it possible to share a screenshot or the error message here? There are several possibilities for this scenario, from templates locked by password, lack of permission to edit templates or even your trial test account has expired. With more information, perhaps we can help you with this difficulty.
