Per some contractual requirements we need to keep everything within the US.After this Azure migration, will our data stay in the US data centers in Azure?

I am trying to initiate a CLM Workflow from a Salesforce Flow. I am able to initiate the workflow from Flow, but am unable to figure out how to pass a recordId. I see that the Salesforce Flow Action “Start DocuSign CLM Workflow” which calls DFSLE__CLMWORKFLOWREQUEST expects a Salesforce recordId because it fails when I put a random string of text or a Docusign ID with the message “An Apex error occurred: System.StringException: Invalid id: cxxxxx” and succeeds when I populate the field with a valid SFID.I see that I am initiating a workflow in Docusign CLM as I get a record of the workflow’s execution.But I can not access the recordId in the workflow.I have tried creating variables with all sorts of name to see if they are populated, but none of them work. (recordId, Record_ID, SalesforceID, id, userId, accountId, contactID etc...)Does anyone know how I can access this record id from within SF?ThanksGretchen

I was recently using the Set Security step and noticed there is an option to Set Security on a document.  Once I used my Document Variable in the step then ran the workflow it errored out saying, “Security cannot be set on individual documents. Please enable document-level security...”  My question is: How do we enable document-level security in the account?  

We have a scenario where our customer has a consultant agreement workflow that triggers a signature for the execution of the contract but then, after the term of the contract expires, there is a subsequent termination signature to close out the arrangement.  These are two different documents.  It looks like it is conducting the signature for both, but it is not renaming the latter document nor moving it to the same folder as the original.  Are there additional steps needed to make sure that happens?Appreciate your insights.

Hello All:In the past few days I’ve noticed I do not always get an email notification when an envelope is signed/completed.I have been receiving the “viewed” notifications for every signer on every envelope, and I get most of the notifications for the “completed” envelopes. But not all of them.The most recent: I received both “viewed” notices (one for each signer) but did not received the “completed” notification - one of the signers (someone in my office, with the same email domain) forwarded me the notice to let me know it was complete.I have checked all my preferences/settings and ALL notifications are checked off. No changes have been made to any notifications. Any idea as to why this is happening and how to fix it? thanksmr1

Business logic requires information gathering from both applicant and coapplicant which has been configured on the docusign form. Similarly, applicant and coapplicant role has been created with ‘needs to sign’.Now the issue arises when we use the power form, the first person (say applicant) can start the application by filling out his/her name and email as they are marked mandatory. Coapplicant information (name and email) often times are missed as there is not a clear indication that the fields are required for applicant to fill in the same way they fill in the name and email section of the applicant portion. Is there a way to make the coapplicant detail fields required fields as applicants fields; inorder for applicant to initiate the form. 

I am looking for more documentation regarding the Finish Later Button experience. Is only one email sent out? Are there additional emails sent that contain the link? 

a contract status goes to Aborted automatically after 18 months period it is in workflow. Contract manager should be notified when a contract going to be Aborted

Text in a pdf document is changed by docusign while uploading as a template document.Why does this happen? How to fix? Many thanks for help!Thomas

Recently my tag colors are all of the sudden Pastel colors. When I need 3 signatures, I can’t even tell 2 of the colors apart because they are so light and almost exactly the same color...just maybe a slightly different shade of Baby blue for example. Can I change somewhere in setting to different colors? Thanks so much 

Hi, I am wondering if there is an "or" functionality where as I am able to send a document to two people (from one department) but only require one of their signatures in order for it to progress to the next signatory?In other words, I send out documents for signing to different departments but only need one signature from each department but I'd like everyone in that department to be able to have the chance to sign and once it is it goes to the next department. Please advise if there is a way to make this work! ThanksJimmy

Hi there,I have some documents stored in a folder in CLM. All these documents have an attribute listing the name of the client who signed the document. My CLM already has some folders with the same names, but not all of them. I want to know how I can move all the documents to their corresponding folders (or create a new folder with the client’s name). Thank you!

Hi everyone,I’m looking for advice on how to configure a bulk send scenario.I need to send out about 300 envelopes using the bulk tool. Each envelope will always go to one known recipient (the main participant). However, in certain cases, if that recipient has a spouse, we also need the spouse to complete and sign one of the documents (spousal consent).The challenge: Conditional requirement – We don’t always know in advance if the recipient has a spouse. If they do, the spouse must sign. If not, that step should be skipped. Unknown contact info – We don’t have the spouse’s name or email. This information would need to be provided by the first signer (the known recipient). Bulk CSV limitation – When I try to set this up using the bulk send CSV, the spouse’s name and email fields can’t be left blank. Has anyone implemented something similar? Hi all. I have a customized report that I generate weekly on Mondays.Up to last week, everything was perfect. The report was generated at roughly 3AM, and I could modify it as needed in the morning and send it off to the interested party.Today (Monday Aug, 25), it arrived at 2:11 PM. A little too late in the day.I checked the scheduling and it does not offer the option to select a time for generation.How is the time of generation calculated? Is there anything I can do to have it generated early in the morning?As always, thank you! 

We would like to implement a configuration where user accounts in DocuSign are automatically assigned different accounts and permission profiles based on their Active Directory (AD) group membership. Please confirm if this approach is supported with SAML/JIT provisioning setup, and if any additional configuration steps are required on either the Identity Provider or DocuSign side. Hi everyone,I believe I can create a public link on the website for customers to sign a form based on the template i’ve created. I have some questions:Can the customer upload a PDF document with prepopulated fields into Docusign and then sign the document?  Can additional supporting attachments be uploaded as part of the envelope but does not populate into the template/form e.g an image of license Can certain fields (excluding the signature field) be completed in Docusign after uploading the PDF where some information is prepopulated? and can that be any field? (the form has set fields that are prepopulated already and set fields that require input) Can we use phone verification for customers accessing the form via the URL on website If we have multiple forms, can we use the same URL or do we require multiple URLs?  Set rules/questions to signing parties. The recent change to the document format we send to customers is creating significant issues. The current appearance is less professional—oversized, opaque boxes now block out text and lines on the contract, even when reduced to the smallest possible size. This makes it difficult for customers to fully understand exactly what they are signing.Previously, the signature fields were transparent, allowing all text to remain visible. The new look not only obstructs important content but also presents a cluttered, confusing, and unrefined appearance. From a customer-facing perspective, this is a step backward in clarity and professionalism.Can you explain the reasoning for moving away from the transparent design? We would strongly recommend reverting to the prior format to ensure contracts remain both visually clear and professionally presented.

Hi,Are Docusign fields supposed to have solid white backgrounds during the signing phase? I expected them to be transparent and not cover up any of the form lines/text all the way through, but in my account as soon as I kick a doc out for signing all of the fields take on a solid white background which looks terrible and is concerning since they turn to the expected transparent upon full execution...when I sign something I want to look exactly like it did when I signed it.Is this a bug or some setting I can change? Screenshots below (read captions): Editing Doc in Room (all good)Preparing for signing, still goodPreviewing...OK whaaaaaat is this. I have paid for a docusign account.  Cannot access account.  Seeing the following message: “Server Request Error: Could not load settings.”  I have tried mutliple browsers.  Same issues.  So far nobody is helping with this.

I want to make it so that the default is to allow recipients to edit an envelope as opposed to having to check the box in the “advanced settings” each time an envelope is sent. I don’t want everyone at my company to have to remember to check that box every time they send something. I swear I remember Docusign having this feature, but I cannot find it anywhere in the settings nor on any forum posts. 

Hello, The sender stated that they have sent us the envelopes four times but we are unable to receive them. We have checked the spam folder but no luck. We have the envelope IDs but couldn’t find a way to contact Support to get assistance on how to access them.  Any advice is greatly appreciated. 

Hi,I have a question concerning delegation : when a delegate signs a document on behalf of the delegator, the signature visible on the document is the delegate’s one. Is it possible to modify this setup and get the delegator’s one, with the precision it has been signed by the delegate in the envelope details ?Thanks for your help !

Is there a way to create a conditional field based on how a different recipient selects their answer. We have a 3 radio button group by signer 1. If signer 1 chooses radio button #3 we would like signer 2 to initial the page. So the signer 2 initial tag would be conditional based on signer 1 radio button #3.

What inbound network connections would DocuSign utilize and/or require ?i.e. - “If you restrict inbound network connections and allow-list specific Docusign IP addresses, you must update your allow-list to include all current Docusign IP ranges from our Trust Center by December 31, 2025”
