Customers want Docusign to have options for ‘x’ Box and Checkmark Box that should result as agreed as ‘tick mark’ and declined as ‘x’ mark.
When sending legal documents, tick the options or x to decline, while those documents could be used to showcase in the legal jurisdiction.

Hi @Mohaesal—thanks for posting and we're glad you checked in!

I agree that would be a great enhancement, and you’re always welcome to share Ideas directly in our DocuSign Ideas Portal, where our product team reviews customer suggestions for future updates 👉 Submit a feature request

In the meantime, there are a couple of workarounds I'd recommend:

1. Approve / Decline Field. Note that the Decline action is equivalent to “Decline to Sign.” Once selected, it stops the signing process, skips the remaining fields, and the recipient must provide a reason for declining.

2. Conditional Fields. You can use a conditional setup. For example:

  • Add a Checkbox/Radio button/Dropdown/Text field with options like Approve and Decline.

  • Create two text fields. One containing “✓” and one containing “X”.

  • Set conditions so that choosing Approve shows the ✓, and choosing Decline shows the X.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have questions— we've got you!

Sincerely,
