How can we get completed status when one of the receipients views the document?

​We'd like to get completed status when one of the recipients opens the signed document. If we set 'Need to review' for all the recipients, we can get completed status only after all the recipients view the document. Your advice would be highly appreciated.

Two recipients: One fills out the overall form and signs, then another signs as responsible party

I'm new as of today using the trial version. This is a workflow / template question for an existing PDF form we use in our film and television production business. I can upload if you want. Same form over and over is what we use. Standard procedure workflow is for us to send the form to the point of contact (Production Manager/Coordinator) who fills out 95% of the form and signs as Person Filling Out Form. The most important signature is the Producer who completes the credit card portion of the form, essentially the responsible party. Basically, I need to have the PM fill out the form and them send it to the Producer for the final signature. I typically will not have the Producer's contact info or even their name when I send the form. How would I do this in my Template? I've searched but have not found this scenario. Thank you! Robert

How can I restrict certain fields from being viewed by specific users?

I'm trying to set up a scenario where someone sends a form to be filled out and signed, but I'd like some of the fields to be restricted in a sense that only specific users (and the person who filled it out) can view it. I'd like other people to be able to view the form in general, just not see specific fields. Example, user "A" sends form to member "B" who fills it out and it's sent to user "C" who also has to sign it. Is there a way I can restrict certain fields so only "B" and "C" can see them?

Is there a way to create transferable templates?

​Is there a way to create templates for forms that have a lot of text spaces and check boxes, etc. so that we can transfer the marked areas that require data to be entered onto the forms we are sending to our clients? We cannot use the template itself to send since each file we send has a specific escrow number. Thank you.

Hello, I got a document via e-mail then I clicked "review document" I didn't know how to sign it and ended up finding that I couldn't see checkbox "I agree to use...." on this area. How can I fix it? ask my sender to resend? Thank you.

How do I build a template where the signature blocks are always the same, but the document is different each time? That is, how do I build a template for field locations only, and apply it to a document I upload?

I need to have the same several people sign, date and initial documents on a recurring basis. Each day the documents they need to sign are identical except for the fact that digits and amounts vary between each document. The format of the document is the same every day--field locations, initial blocks, signature blocks, are all the same, every day. However some of the data in the documents such as dates, numbers, etc. are different each day. Therefore I need to create a template for field locations--NOT a document template. That is, I need to be able to upload a new and different document each time, and then apply my field location template to the document after I upload it. How do I do that? Imagine a sales contract where you have a buyer purchasing goods at a different price each day. The contract is the same each day, the signature and initial blocks are the same each day, but the price is different. I need a template I can apply to such a document each day.

How do I send a form that has pre-selected radio button choices that the recipient needs to review or change?

The form has both text fields and 100+ radio buttons of which only 5-7 are applicable to the selected person - ie ranges of compensation, net worth, number of dependents, etc. I have pre-selected the answers, but want the ability of the client to change along with edit text fields. Hence, want to sent the doc as is for editing and signature. If I give recipient editing control all the buttons are turned on, pre-selections lost and comes back with all buttons with an X. Thanks

How to create a form and generate a link to post on our website.

1. I had a lawyer create a legal binding petition that I need to gather citizen signatures. I uploaded the document, but I need to know how to add multiple fields and then post the link on our website. 2. How to auto populate custom tags on a template.

As we know custom tags can be added on template through drag and drop on a template. But I want to make these custom tags to be auto populated for every use of a template, which means I want to add custom tags on template only for once and for the next time it should be automatically placed. I know it is possible but don't know how to achieve it. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I have not been able to see any of my activity in DocuSign for about six months. When I log in to DocuSign, it shows zero activity in the overview, which is wrong. What do I need to do to straighten this problem out and see my DocuSign activity?

I need 2 signatures at the same email address. One name is changing to the other in transit. See below. Help?

I need two signatures -- 2 different names but going to same email address. One of the names is "changing" in transit. Signer is not making this change -- the program is changing the name by the time it gets to the signer. I am entering "Jane B Smith" and "John A Smith" but "Jane B Smith" is changing to "John A Smith" by the time it gets to the signer. And the program is directly "Jane B Smith" to sign as "John A Smith". I have re-entered into and re-sent docs 4 times now and it continues to do this. Any advice?

How do I send a supplemental document for people to view and or approve but not sign?

I tried uplaoding the supplemental doc like my contract (as suggested in docusign video) but when I clicked on the 3 dots after I uploaded my supplemental there was not an option to make it supplemental. It just showing the supplemntal doc as part of the contract and not an attachement like I intended
