Document pdf password protection

I use a mac and create a pdf not password protected.  I upload the pdf document and it is sent to my clients for signature,  When it comes back to me signed and upload the document to my real estate platform, it shows that the document is password protected and my broker can’t see it.  It is really frustrating.  I then I have to print the signed pdf received from my client and re-scan it to create a new pdf that can be open.  It is so time consuming and ineffective.  How can unlock a document that is protected protected when it comes back to me when it was created by me without a passowrd protection.

Please help with custom fields in templates.

Can anyone help figure out how to get the “custom fields” to work in a template. Set up: 2 signers (in signing order). Signer 1 is supposed to fill out some info that signer 2 will be able to see.  The custom field doesn’t auto-populate the field to other pages… Eg. signer one types in their name in box 1 on page 1 and it SHOULD auto populate to page 8 where I put a “clone” of that custom field. Some times, it does do this (if the field is just plan text and has NO VALIDATION- i.e. numbers only, date, etc). If you try to make a “drop down” as a custom field, forget it, that NEVER populates over. I tried making sure “shared” was selected and users can collaborate. Every combination of options I tried- NOTHING works.  Does this technology even work?? Lol.  Tried for 2 hours with the totally USELESS call-center support and got no where. Honestly, DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME calling the DocuSign support center- they are ENTIRELY unhelpful. No joke. It’s unreal actually how unhelpful they are.

Can Docusign send an envelope to just an email (So not a contact, no response needed)

Alongside the more tradional way of signing documents in Docusign, we would like to be able to replace the assignee with an email address. The expectation is the client would not sign the documents in Docusign but print them and sign them. I guess the question is does Docusign have a simple email feature ?

Docusign template upload and CLM features

Hi, I have installed docusign esignature in my salesforce sandbox and connected salesforce with my docusign trial account. But I am not be able to upload document using template upload. and also i am unable to create template but it is saying “you are not authorized” though i have added all the required permission sets. Also i have installed salesforce clm but unable to setup that also i cant find it in app launcher. Any suggestions ?Is there any limitations with the trial account ?

Home Page Dashboard

Recent “enhancement” has eliminated my DocuSign Dashboard on the Home page - I now get a screen about sending envelopes.  I don’t send envelopes, but receive them for signature and keep track of those signatures coming after mine.  This was conveniently seen on the Home page dashboard, but is now missing.  How do I get that back?

Ensure that I always receive the 'Certificate Of Completion' with the envelope in a single PDF

When an envelope gets signed by all, I always receive the email with the signed document. But the certificate is not attached. Can I force that I always receive the signed envelope/document and the certificate in a SINGLE PDF by email?

We are using Bulk Send to send 2,000 documents.We are using retrieve to download them all but would like the file name very specific. Below is an example:MemberServiceAgreement_Reciepient Name_SSN_Member Number_DateThe SSN, Member Number, and Date are all present on the CSV file used for the import. Is there a way to have the file named like this?

Initial Every Page on Dynamic Template

I’m looking to create a dynamic template in DocuSign where the user needs to initial the bottom of every page. I understand how to use auto-place with static templates, but not sure if this is possible with dynamic templates? Is it possible to autoplace an initial field in the footer of every page on a dynamic template using the document editor?

Bulk send: Is it possible to use LABELED TEXT or NAME in the filename of the generated pdf?

If I send a document to 100+ people with bulk send I download the signed pdf files with the name of the template. "Random Template.pdf". Is there any possibility to download the files with special filename? I would like to use some fields from filled file into the name of the file. for example "Firstname Lastname Random Template.pdf" instead of "Random Template.pdf"? Of course I know I can rename the files one by one during the download in the browser but it is slow process. If I could do it automatically It would be great. Thanks a lot!

a black box around the avatar

After I configured our logo to the Docusign avatar, the signature email sent by Docusign had a black box around the avatar. I tried to remove the black box and tried many methods but couldn't solve it.

Sign into Docusign to view legitimate documents

Our firm receives a lot of phishing emails appearing to come from Docusign with potentially malicious links.  Rather than click the link directly from the email, I was hoping users can sign into their Docusign account and view the sent agreement from their Docusign Envelope Inbox to confirm the legitimacy of the email.  I asked a Docusign sales rep if Docusign agreements will automatically appear in the Docusign Inbox when someone sends a legit Docusign agreement and he said yes, but they aren’t showing up. Was the rep wrong about this and if so, does the sender have to do anything special in order for it to appear in a user’s Docusign Inbox rather than just in their standard email Inbox?  Thanks.

DocuSign Message hyperlink

Can you please help.We tried to rename a hyperlink in Microsoft Word using the 'Text to display' field (as shown in the attached). After copying it to the DocuSign Message field, the recipient of the envelope was unable to open the link. It seems that modifying the 'Text to display' breaks the functionality of the hyperlink. Thanks

Billing Support

I am urgently requesting assistance regarding a long-standing issue with my billing account that has gone unresolved for several months. Despite multiple attempts to open support cases, they continue to be closed without resolution. Now, I am unable to even open a new case and am receiving the following error message:"Unable to log in. If this is your first login attempt after purchasing a DocuSign plan, allow 15 minutes for account creation before accessing your account. For all other login scenarios, contact DocuSign Support for assistance."Unfortunately, there appears to be no viable way to contact support. Every email I’ve attempted to use is a no-reply address, and the chat box states there are no live agents for support. Need Validation Packet Part 11 Signature

Please provide me with validation certifications for the Part 11 DocuSign system which our company is currently using with you.  For a sample CFR Part 11 assurance packet or Validator for Life Sciences report, contact your account executives.  Could someone send this to me.
