How to turn "Show recipient details" on as the default

Currently, there is no option to configure "Show recipient details" to toggle it on by default.

The new enhanced feature section in the Release notes states there is now a toggle within the 'Recipients' tab to see additional recipient details, such as email, the date, and time of signing 👉 Envelope and Templates Details Pages Moved to New Design System

We understand this may not be ideal for you, and if enabling it by default would benefit your organization, we encourage you to submit a request on our Ideas page, where we collect feedback and suggestions to guide future product improvements 👉Submit a feature request

I found an existing idea about this functionality that you may wish to support with your vote  👉 Bring back the ability to see recipient details by default

This is not an “enhancement” if it is not beneficial. I will promote the existing idea submission, per your recommendation, thank you.

Please though, DocuSign, stop making changes without giving an option to adjust for actual user’s preferences/needs.
