Stuck with an incomplete e-signature

Hi everyone,

I need urgent help.

I was signing an agreement on Docusign and accidentally pressed ok halfway through when creating my signature. So now I have an incomplete and messy signature, and I am unable to change it.

I have been struggling to find a solution to this, could someone please help.

P.S I also created an account on Docusign but that doesn't help either.

Hello @Aditi,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Docusign Community! We’re sorry to hear that you are having issue changing signature.

Since you didn’t have a DocuSign account during signing, you won’t be able to change the signature on that envelope.

If you created a DocuSign account only after receiving the envelope, it won’t appear in your account. Any new signature you add there cannot be applied to that envelope.

If the signing process isn’t completed yet, the best solution is to ask the sender to resend the envelope so you can sign again with the correct signature.

For more details, please refer to this article: Change your signature or adopt a custom signature

I hope this helps clarify things! If you believe this response effectively addresses your question, please click “Best Answer” to help other users with similar questions, locate it more easily.
