Hello!We recently upgraded from eSignature (Legacy) to DocuSign App Launcher in our Salesforce environment.  We have two use cases for our users with DocuSign.An API call is made where a document is generated then sent using the system sender email A DocuSign button is pressed to allow users to send a custom document in an envelope to a client.Once we added permissions for our users to accomplish the second use case, envelopes that were generated via the first use case started being sent out from users personal email addresses rather than the system sender email address.Is it possible to allow users access to customize documents and send out envelopes via the custom DocuSign buttons without either having to add them as DocuSign users in Salesforce OR to set the default email that ALL documents that come from Salesforce come from to a specific address?  It seems like we could hard code into our solution for the first use case that the email address used is always our default, but this s

Hi, I am getting error when I try to place merged fields from salesforce to Envelope Template.Save Error: Some fields might be out of sync. Unable to connect to the service. Failed to connect to the salesforce service.I disconnected and reconnected the DocuSign but it didn’t solve the issue. We are currently running on 6.4v.What can I do to solve this issue?

Recipients have to add the sign, initial, and date tags themselves. Wasn’t a problem when I didn’t use the envelope.

Hi, I am working in a UAT Salesforce environment connected to a Dev DocuSign. When I send a document using a custom URLFOR button a DocuSign Status is not getting created. I see a ‘DocuSign Envelope’ though. Is there any reason why an envelope would get created but not the Status? I received the document for signature in my inbox, so I don’t believe there is an error in my recipients etc. Any advice on why this might be happening would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Emily 

Does anyone know if we can send forms to contacts from salesforce, have them input information into the form and then use that information in Salesforce?Our usecase is that we have employees that need to submit hours on a monthly basis, we send them a form based on a Docusign template, they then get that signed and return it to us.However we would like to take those hours that they submitted and use them in further automation.Does anyone know if that is possible?

Hey Folks,If I have one DocuSign Account linked to one Salesforce org, can i use the same DocuSign Account to connect to different Salesforce org as well to save over cost either via “DocuSign E-Signature managed package” Or via “DocuSign API”? If yes what's the downside, If no what's the workaround?Please share your wisdom!!

Hi, I am using Docusign for sending quotes for signature from Salesforce. I created an envelope template on the quote object with auto placed fields/merge fields etc. Configured to take latest document from the record. I created a Docusign Gen Template using the same template as on envelope template and linked it for sending after generation to my envelope template. (Output as PDF)When I click generate and send, I am getting 3 documents appearing for sending instead of 1 ( latest from the quote) 2 documents are PDFs where the quote fields have rendered and populated correctly1 document is the envelope template itself where the fields are not rendered and are still showing. merge fields values. example (="/SBQQ__Quote__c/SBQQ__ExpirationDate__c"/> #>)I was expecting one document ready for sending with auto placed fields. If I deselect the envelope template, the other two documents although rendered with quote info, no longer have the auto placed fields. I cant seem to find any art

We want to have 7 day void date contract pdf requirement which we generate out of opportunity object in Salesforce, and along with that we want to send a reminder after 3 days after contract is sent , and reminder 24 hours before the pdf is going to expire/void.Steps we can follow :We can set up this in DocuSign account 'Reminider & Expiration setting' Set "Days before request expires" to 7  We can put 'Days before reminder sent' to 3 , Assuming it will send the reminder after 3 days   We can set ‘Days between reminders’ to 3 OR We can set 'Days to warn signers before expiration' to 1 this will send warning email before 24 hours? Issues : Bit of issue with setting values in "Days between reminders:" this is a mandatory field, if we set this to 0 (Zero) , will it send reminder everyday??OR If we set it to 3 , will it send a reminder on 6th day ?? and then we also have 'Days to warn signers before expiration' to 1 so will customer get two emails on 6th day , one for reminder and on

Hi Community, I want to use DocuSign for my docgen engine in my salesforce org, i have case, and each case has several service contracts and each service contract is with many contract line items. I am making a document in docusign based on case and want to display a table for each service contract with its contract line item. how can i configure the template in docusign to fetch the data and child data in salesforce? Because i need to send envelope for esignature and maybe the user needs to update a few fields in the document to reflect back in my salesforce.From what i found so far is i need to use apex toolkit with send envelope action. But i dont know how i can configure the docusign template with the merge fields in child and grandchild relationship. And if i use gen, it cannot be used with apex toolkit. My expectation is to send document containing salesforce data, child data and grandchild data and let user insert/update a few fields and then sign the esignature. Hi, We have integrated Docusign with Salesforce for sending documents, we have one partner who is able to send documents just after the token is recently updated, however after 8 hours we get the the error message: attempt to reference an object: null30. Checking the debig logs it shows : getAccessTokenRequest|"System.HttpRequest[Endpoint=null, Method=null]"|0x37fc0b61I have personally updated the token for other partners and they are able to continue sending envelopes after 8 hours and after the days pass, Ive seen if one of our partners dont send envelopes in a period of 30 days or more the token expires, we update the token and then the issue is no longer present as they keeping sending envelopes or using actively the tool.I dont understand why this is happening every 8 hours. Not sure what we are doing wrong if I have followed the same steps to update the token facing no issue and now this happens unexpectedly.Please advise, thank you

So I ask you for advice.When I send an envelope from Salesforce.com, several envelope custom fields (ECF) are automatically created. One of them contains the Salesforce.com record ID. Since objects of different types in Salesforce (Account, Opportunity, Lead, etc.) can initiate sending an envelope from Salesforce, the names of the Envelope Custom Fields (ECF) will be different (SFAccount, SFOpportunity, SFLead, etc.). And depending on the type of object, I want to display different text in the Email Resource template. Is there a possible way to copy a docusign status for the envelope signed document to the quote object in salesforce?

In our newly implemented integration, I can see and download the PDF and Word files that are coming in to Salesforce via Docusign in the DocuSign status object. However, I’m unable to open the downloaded Word file and get this error - any suggestions? 

I have created an eSignature DocGen template.  I want to create 5 similar envelopes  using the same DocGen template. About 40% of the field data is the same across 5 envelopes , but the remaining 60% of the fields are unique data for each recipient. I expected to be able to create a one envelope using the DocGen template and save as a draft. Then copy the draft envelope and make DocGen field changes to the envelope copy, but the “copy” function is not available in the envelope drop down actions for the created envelope in draft - should I be able to copy a draft envelope? I see that copy does become active for the envelope after sending it, but the envelope copy shows fixed text for recipient 1, and I cannot edit/update field entries for the unique data for recipient 2.  Perhaps bulk send is the only way to achieve what I want to do?  But I’m reticent to use bulk send, since you cannot preview the generated documents before sending.

Salesforce sends a document with account record data (Account object in Salesforce) for the client to sign using DocuSign. I am trying to display a field in a Repeat xml tag, but I keep getting a xpath exception error.I have a template that uses the credit note object in Salesforce, and I am trying to display the unit price field on the invoice line object. I go from credit note > credit note line > credit allocations > invoice line > unit price. We have a partner portal built on Salesforce experience cloud where our resellers can bring in deals. We want our resellers to able to send documents to their customers to be signed and also capture some data that is written back to Salesforce fields.  We have been able to install the docusign package and setup a template configuration in Salesforce with all the merge field, field placement and even set the config to update certain Salesforce fields on send and successful signing. We want to be able to pull in the DocuSign template configuration in Salesforce and use that to send the template but can’t seem to find a way to do that in experience cloud.  With the Apex toolkit, it doesn’t appear to allow us to fetch the DocuSign template configuration in Salesforce and use that to deliver the envelopes. Looks like we have to hard code everything from the merge fields to updating the Salesforce fields on send and completion.  Does anyone know a way around this?  

Hi,I am using DocuSign Apps Launcher version 6.4 in Salesforce and CPQ. I have configured the app and users as per the document. In the add document configuration, I have selected “Attach Documents from Salesforce record”. I am selecting a record with files and click the “Send DocuSign” button. I get an error “At least one document is required”. What am I missing? 

Consider a use case where a bank/finance company is  automatically generating a lease agreement for a car dealership to be signed by the purchaser of the car. We (bank)  want to autofill the “car price” which could editable by the dealership, but we want to autofill the “term” at 36 months but that’s locked down and uneditable. We can make this work on a basic word document but in our current docgen platform, the protected word doc basically blows up the doc gen template because it can’t read the template. Does DOcusign Gen support this use case? If so how? Can it inherit the protection attributes of the word doc, or would we set up the protection attributes in the DS Gen platform itself and they live on the template?

Hi, I have set up a flow in salesforce which sends out Docusign envelopes based on a triggered flow. The trigger works perfectly fine for me as the Admin, however, when I log in as one of my end users the envelope is not sent. I have checked to make sure the user is active, added permission sets (Docusign Login, Docusign Sender, Docusign User), and enabled the system sender setting for eSignature in Salesforce. What am I missing here?
