DocuSign / Salesforce - Require Merge Field when Checkbox Merge Field is Set

Hi, is it possible to have a Text Type Merge field be required if a Checkbox Merge Field is set by the Signer? I know this can be configured by the user by creating a condition when reviewing the Envelope prior to sending, but I’d like to have this condition automatically applied by the system when it is generated as users will not remember to perform the task. I do not see the option when configuring the merge field. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

 

Note: We are currently using ‘Docusign Apps Launcher’ for Salesforce.
