Hello,At my company, we use DocuSign for Salesforce and set up DocuSign integrations for other companies.Our contract (daily, weekly) and disclosure (NY, CA, VA) documents are in separate Gen Templates, each linked to specific rules. For example, if frequency = daily and billing address = NY, then the daily contract and NY disclosure are sent for signature.Issue:Both templates are successfully sent for signature, but while the contract correctly displays the picklist, signature, and date signed fields (configured via the envelope template), the disclosure does not show these fields. Hello Community,I like to add additional documents (supplemantal documents) to an envelope.The situation is as follows:The document is generated in Salesforce I use an Envelope Template, created in Salesforce and available at the Docusign website, to assigne the Roles to the contacts Docusign opens In Docusign I created two additional templates one with supplement document A and one for B Docusign matches the Template for A Expected behaviour: to the uploaded document from Salesforce supplement document A is added and send also to the customer Actual: the template is matched, but the supplement document is not addedWhen I add the documents to the envelope template from Salesforce, file A and B appears. Hope someone can help me. Thanks and have a nice day,Sven

We are using Salesforce Minimum Access and System Administrator profiles for users, where they have basic access to objects and fields. Access to custom fields is granted via the Permission Sets. When I try to generate template I have following error: Could not generate document “Template Name” [103] Please ensure user has access to all the fields in template. 'Activation_Fee__c' Reference ID: f0ee0172-0614-47be-969c-d30eaf2c704d.I have granted access to this field by assigned Permission Set. When I set this field read and edit on Profile, then the problem is gone. It looks that DocuSign checks access only on Profile level, not the Permission Set. Can anyone help with that?

We are looking to transition from DocuSign eSignature for Salesforce (7.12.1) to Docusign Apps Launcher 6.12 and I’m trying to get it setup in a lower environment for testing. One of the features we used in the eSignature app was syncing the envelope status and date sent over to the related fields in Contracts. When trying to setup DAL, I don’t see this being able to be configured, where it will update the field of the Date Sent. Am I missing something somewhere? 

Hello, When using the DocuSign Apps Launcher in Salesforce, I’m unable to see anything related to CLM despite having downloaded the CLM app through the app exchange. I can see various CLM components and permission sets through the managed package, but I can’t see a CLM app, or a config page through DocuSign setup. I can only see eSignature and DocuSign Gen. Any suggestions on how I can remedy this issue? Thank you! 

I have a table in my Gen Word Doc, It has a price in the table ( lets say $100),  i have a field in Salesforce that holds the commission, (lets say its $25), how can i add the $25 ( from merge field) to the $100 that is already in the Table in my Gen Doc? The $100 is not a merge field coming from SF.

I am attempting to create a conditional field rule in my gen template. I need to set this up and save the configuration to prevent my users from having to do it manually each time. If i send the document, then generate another quote, the conditional field rules are missing. I do not seem to be able to store them permanently. I am using word templates if it makes a difference.Any help is appreciated.related links:

Hi All,I wanted to understand the concept of App password.So normally we create a new account for each sandbox and connect it with salesforce.Later in salesforce we create a named credential and give our username and instead of our password we put in the app password generated in docusign.Should we be using different app password for different sandbox or how does it work.i have 10 accounts in the same login username. so should i use 10 different app password ?

Using Salesforce/ docusign app launcher v 6.12 Is it possible to receive a chatter notification when a doc is signed? 

We have DocuSign enabled in one of salesforce org. Currently we have created 1 gen template in which 20 templates uploaded and based on rule, we are giving opportunity to user to select template, for that we have created picklist field on opportunity and based on selected template name DocuSign will generate the document and send for signature. Now for some documents, Signature is not required, we just need document which have opportunity details that is happening but user can see next button where he can proceed for sending it to signature. Can we put validation there to restrict the user as signature is not required for those documents?

Hi, I installed the Docusign Apps Launcher and eSignature for Salesforce product yesterday in Salesforce. I successfully connected to Docusign via Salesforce... I see the Apps Launcher record in Docusign Connect. Things look fine, however, I'm unable to create an envelope template from Salesforce. I'm getting a "You are not authorized to access the envelope." error when I try to create a template. I'm the admin in both Docusign and Salesforce. I have all permissions that I can think of. Why do i not see my preference page now. I want that page to set the account as default. We licensed DocuSign Gen and installed the Apps Launcher for Salesforce. We are following the Administration Guide to connect the Salesforce Production Account with DocuSign. When setting up the connection, we are presented a list with different DocuSign "Accounts" (we use one per legal subsidiary) and have to pick one. However, the users who will be using DocuSign with Salesforce are coming from various different subsidiaries and I can't seem to find further information on how we would achieve the connection from one Salesforce org to one DocuSign Company account with many "sub accounts" or Accounts. Can anyone help here on this community? Thank you!Benjamin

We have a use case where an Expense record is Created and a File for the Invoice is entered into that Object’s Folder. When ready an Invoice Record is created that looks up to the Expense. I want to Display the Expenses Folder on the Invoices page and have not figured out a way. I don’t want to Copy the File and place it in the Inventory's Folder. The CLM files VF page doesn’t have customization to Use Invoices Expense record like some lightning page components. I haven't seen this question raised elsewhere. Any help is greatly appreciated. 

Hello,We recently upgraded our DocuSign eSignature App (Version 7.13.1) and DocuSign Apps Launcher (Version 6.12). Once we upgraded DAL first, one of our users started experience issues. The user is able to send the document from the application object but none of the documents write back to the DocuSign Status object. However this functionality works for every other user in the org that sends out applications. This user has the same profile, permission sets as everyone else as well. We have had tickets with Salesforce and DocuSign and nobody knows why this one user doesn’t have their documents write back. I can also confirm the documents are being sent because he’s able to see them in the DocuSign website.If you have any ideas, I would love to hear them, pretty please! :)

We have created eSignature template in Salesforce. I was granted DS Admission Permission for creating templates After template creation is completed and tested, I should ideally be assigned the DS Sender role in DocuSign. However, after this change, I lose access to the DocuSign Apps Launcher entirely, despite having the correct DocuSign Salesforce permissions. Is DS Admin Permission required for sending envelopes?

Hello, DocuSign eSignature for Salesforce admins, I am working on building a DocuSign envelope template inside Salesforce using DocuSign App Launcher(DAL), in this template, I have a requirement to pre-populate data into the document from three sources, the source object itself, its parent record, and its child record. I could add merging fields for the source record, and its parent record, but my question here is for children, if the source record has multiple children, how does DocuSign know which child record to retrieve the data from it? Is it the most recent child record or the first created one or what? Hi,We’re experiencing an issue with our DocuSign and Salesforce integration and could use some assistance or pointing in the right direction of why this may be occuring.Here’s our setup:We have linked specific DocuSign templates to types of Opportunities in Salesforce. These templates can be launched directly within the Opportunity page layout in Salesforce.The Issue:On the DocuSign template itself (within DocuSign), we’ve configured the recipient authentication method to Phone Authentication. However, when the template is launched via a Salesforce Opportunity, it defaults to SMS Authentication instead.While we understand that "Phone Authentication" and "SMS Authentication" are functionally similar in most scenarios, one of our third-party partners requires the authentication method to explicitly remain Phone Authentication and not default to SMS A

Hi There,I’m generating a contract document from Salesforce Industries(Vlocity) OmniScript using OOB Document Generation capability.I want to integrate Stripe Payment gateway into this document. DocuSign has ‘Payment Item’ tag when we generate it from DocuSign eSignature.In the link below, they have mentioned tags like ‘vlcSignHere1’ but there is no tag for Payment Item. Hi Team, I have installed the appexchange product ‘Docusign eSignature for Salesforce’  in my personal developer salesforce org. After i authorize with salesforce credentials, in second step/tab when i try to authorize ‘DocuSign’ its saying invalid password. However if I use the same credentials to login directly into Docusign its working fine. Do i need to connect salesforce or establish the connect from Docusign or from within Salesforce screen?Your quick response is highly appreciated. Thanks,Raj Burugupally

Hi,When accessing the DocuSign App Launcher in Salesforce Partial SB, it displays a loading screen but doesn't redirect to the setup page. However, it works correctly in the production environment. Does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this issue?Thank you.
