Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community! I appreciate you bringing your question to this Community.
The Docusign Files Component is available as part of the new Docusign Apps Launcher package. Please note that Docusign eSignature for Salesforce is a legacy package and does not include the Files component.

Thank you for your reply.
If ‘Docusign eSignature for Salesforce’ is legacy package, what is the newer version of the Salesforce package?
Thanks
Hello @ajtph,
Thank you for getting back to us.
Per our internal team, the packaged you mentioned that has DocuSign eSignature for Salesforce version 7.12.3 installed is legacy. To install a new package, you may go to AppExchange https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxListingDetail?listingId=a0N30000001taX4EAI&tab=d

Really appreciate your replies Jenny.
May I ask few more questions?
- I noticed the new AppExchange package has cost involved. Since we are using the legacy version and we are currently paying our DocuSign licenses through annual contract, are we going to pay extra on top of the DocuSign licenses by this package upgrade?
- For today’s legacy version package, DocuSign does not create files in Salesforce, but the new version does correct?
- If we decide to go forward with this upgrade, will the object we used today need to change to new object? Such as dsfs__DocuSign_Status__c, dsfs__DocuSign_Recipient_Status__c etc
- In general, how long does your customer take for this upgrade task? We want to have a basic understanding how long this upgrade task will take including setting it up in sandbox and data migration etc.
- Does DocuSign provide any support for this upgrade to their customers like us?
Thank you
