Hi! I’m feeling super frustrated and hope someone can help. We keep having incomplete documents signed by customers, which leaves us to either accept the docs as is without all the info, or go back to the customer and ask them to re-sign. My frustration stems from the following: 1) our sales people keep forgetting to add required fields to DocuSign docs before sending them for signature, 2) I can only see the fields assigned to me on the documents, so I can’t even double check to ensure all the required fields are included, 3) we can’t utilize templates in DocuSign for our orders, which are all custom, and 4) we have a standard subscription, so super basic capabilities. I’ve searched this community and online and can’t seem to find a solution for solving this in DocuSign. Has anyone else had the same issue and solved it?

Hello, I created a new Docusign envelope template in SalesForce and I have this error message “Source object is blank”.  I created this template using the “Clone” button from an existing template.  Also, I notice the “Main Data Source” column is blank for the cloned template, but not for others.  I think this clone feature is broken.  There is no screen I can find where I can make this selection.

Hi, I would like to set Email Default language to all recipient. I am aware of the option “Custom email and language for each recipient” on the settings, but that is not what I am looking for.I do not want to enable it because I need to dynamically set the Email subject and text with the Salesforce Apex Toolkit. If I enable this option, I cannot set the subject and text programmtically. I want to set the default language to German (Currently in English).  How do I achieve this?

Hello — I’m working with a DocuSign Maestro template where I’d like a signer to enter a “whole dollar” value (e.g., 100) and have it automatically display or format as currency (e.g., $100.00).In the template designer, using a Currency / Number field works perfectly when setup so the signer enters the value manually on the contract. However, when that same field is prefilled via a Web Form and Maestro Workflow, the formatting (dollar sign, decimal places) doesn’t carry through — it just outputs the raw number.I’m trying to determine if there’s a way to apply or trigger that formatting on prefilled values.The only workaround I’ve found so far is hard-coding the “$” before the field and “.00” after it, leaving space for the user to type the number — but that feels like a fragile solution.Has anyone found a cleaner approach? Can a Web Form / Maestro prefill override or trigger the formatting rules of a currency field?

I am creating a webform from a template to capture customer information. When generating the webform from the template it auto adds the signer role fields. This field is capturing the signer's/customer's name. This field name also flows through to the finished signed agreement. Its listed as By: on the completed agreements page. But to help everyone in our company, I need the By: to be the company name. Is there any way to do this? Thank you

Hi,I’ve tried to get docusign support several times. Even though I’m logged in on window one, the support page opens in a new window and I’m not logged in there and it won’t let me log in. I wanted to cancel my account today but they charged me before I could get to it. Have I any hope of a refund? I can’t even contact anyone to ask. It’s really a horrible site for support and I would use something different the next time I need something signed.

Hello, I have a quick question. I want to get rid of the frame around the signature. I have changed my settings. I have cleared the cache. I have done everything. When I go sign the document, the frame continues to appear. I do not want the frame. How do I fix this? I have tried to sign it on the mobile app, but it continues to crash, and I cannot.  Thank you for any help in advance.

we have a template we want to use for a bulk mailmerge. the cSV mailmerge template requires a ‘role’ at the start of each column. How do i assign to a role that doesnt require a signature?

We use to get the completed document attached to the completed email. In the last few weeks, DocuSign stopped sending the PDF document. What happened? How can this be fixed?

I need to implement e-signature functionality on my client’s website. We are generating a PDF, and I already have the signature image of the authorized person. I would like to apply this e-signature to the PDF document, but I do not want to perform verification every time. Could you please suggest which APIs or Steps would be suitable for this requirement?

I’ve used Docusign in my RE business for many years and yesterday as I was working with documents forclosing 9/30, suddenly, none of my documents are accessible. This is a major issue. Need urgent help. Don’tlike not having a phone number or chat option to help with this.Thanks! 

We have been experiencing the DocuSign links we send to our customers expiring before they are set to. We have them set to expire 120 days after sending and remind every 7 days. However, for the past 2 weeks we have had customers call us only 4 days in to tell us their link has expired. We can “resend” it and it will successfully open it with saved information. But, this is becoming a bit of an issue.   Thoughts?  Please keep in mind we have been using DocuSign for over 4 years with no issues like this. We have not changed any settings.

I am following this guide:https://developers.docusign.com/docs/esign-rest-api/how-to/request-signature-template-remote/ I have a template in my dev environment that contains all the fields for the user to enter and sign.When I use the guide above and send the template to the user, rather than the signing fields they are getting the document and need to add fields to the document.  How do I change this to be the actual document where they fill in the fields and sign, that is setup with the template? Thank you!

We build signing envelope via API. We often have multiple signers in our envelope and are currently signing sequentially. We use the TextTabs to put read-only text on the document. And, we are putting those tabs on the lowest order recipient. The tabs, in this case, have a transparent background and overlay nicely on-top of the document. Lately, I was asked to parallelize the signing process (i.e. send the document to multiple recipients at the same time). We tried a few things to make this work: Copy the tabs to all recipient. This caused issues since we were exceeding the Maximum number of tabs in an envelope (we have a lot of documents in our envelope). So, this option was not acceptable.  Use the shared option on the tabs. When using shared, all recipients would see a white background on the tab.
