How To sign a document

My name is Carol Jean.  I just signed up for DocuSign and created my login to DocuSign.  I’ve tried to follow the directions for signing a document and official letter. but still cannot do it.  I’m hoping we  can grow to do it together.  Can you possibly help me? Thank you.

Password Required

Good Afternoon,  I have sent an envelop to a client for signature. When they click on the view document, DocuSign is requiring them to login with a password.  They try to reset the password and are unable to do so.  They have signed documents via DocuSign before for other companys and have not had this issue.  Does anyone know of anyways to make it so they are able to simply sign the document? There is no special password requred from my end when sending the envelope.  Thank you.

How to set conditional visibility so that if a text field DOES NOT Equal a particular value, the dependent field will show?

The use case for this particular question is that if a person inserts “0” in a text field with number validation, the conditional field should NOT show up, but if they input anything else such as 0.52 or greater than 0, than the conditional field should show. Is the only way to do this with multiple formula field for each text field present?? Was hoping I could input certain syntax in the pre-built conditional field rules / logic.

Is there a way to compare two values in a template and have validation in place so that the signer cannot sign until the two values are equal?

So the use case we currently have is that if a signer is filling out a document, for simplicities sake, they fill out two parts of a document, and we have two formulas that sum up the entries for two respective parts of the document. The intended or hopeful approach is to be able to have a validation in place to compare the two different sums to ensure they are equal, and if they are, the signer is able to sign, but if the two formulas are not equal, the signer should not be allowed to sign. Is this possible with eSignature?

One send counted as two

I am sending a single document (a template form) to a single person for them to complete fields and sign. It is counting as two “sends” every time I send it. I had 4 “sends” left and just sent the document to three different people and it is now showing that I have “-2 sends left.” This doesn’t make sense. Is it a glitch or am I missing something?

First time user -- Order of Operations

We lost a bunch of contracts from 2015 in a cyber incident.  Therefore, I need to get my customers to sign about a dozen new contracts.  I am the signer for my company and I will be sending the contracts to the customers. When doing paper contracts, I would ask the customer to sign and return.  I would countersign and return a copy to them.When I send out these new contracts, should I e-sign before sending (because I will get my copy when they e-sign, right?)  Or, do I set the signing order to be customer first, then me second?Probably a simple answer, but since I have never run the DocuSign process from the contract originator side, I want to make sure that I set it up the best way possible (and not make learning mistakes in front of my customers).

How do I completely remove a seat from our account?

We currently have two seats on our account and we are looking to completely remove one seat, not a user assigned to a seat but the actual seat / license itself.The support team said that we can do this ourselves from Settings, but I cannot see any setting to remove a seat.  Assign / unassign a seat to a user, yes but actually removing the seat / licence, no.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Workflow to replace sigend document

I would like to consider workflow when I need to replace singed document due to typo of document number etc. Signed documents in DocuSign cannot delete or replace, so what is the good way to manage it?

How do I list all of my envelops that have been sent.  When even when I filter for a specific time period I only see about 15 envelops.  I know more have been sent.  Thanks

Formula date output query?

Hello, not sure if anyone will know the answer to this query. We are trying to use the Forumla field to add 28 days from Date Signed, however when this outputs on the document it is in the american date format. Does anyone know how to get this to output to a UK date format??

How can I as sender check which tasks I assigned to a signer (drop box, option box, signature, initials, ...)?

 I sent an envelope to two persons. One person only needs to complete a text box and initial the document. The other person needs to tick boxes from the option boxes and sign.I can't recall which person had to do what. Is there a possibility to check this after I have sent the envelop already?

Powerforms

How to see the formula as the form is filled out.

Is there a way to see the formula work in real time as you’re filling out an envelope. We can see the numbers going in, but not the numbers in the formula. There’s got to be a way, right?

Message box not Showing in Document after Signing

Hello,I was trying to put a text box comment into my document that stated why my training was late in being signed. However, after I sign off on the document, the text box just disappears and cannot be found. I have to add that another signatory had to sign after me. Is there something I am doing wrong? I made a docusign for my volunteer placement and had someone put in there info but didn’t sign for some reason I can’t see the info added and it just keeps sending it to them . I’m having a lot of trouble here

I created a powerform. I selected someone other than myself to begin completing the form, but the form started with me instead. Is there a setting I need to change so the form begins with the person listed at the start of the form?

Am I missing a setting?

Powerform

When I edit a powerform, do the forms that were sent prior to the update remain active for the electronic signature?  Meaning they will go normally through the approval process.
