When we try to sign W9, the form comes with the signature of the person who came before. Whereas, we would like to avoid the recipients being presented with the 'My signatures and Initials' pop-up and go straight to 'Adopt your signature'.

So that when a new user come, he doesn’t see the signature of the person who came before him. Right now the form populates all the list of signatures which were already used before the new user.

You can adjust the Signature Adoption options in the Settings page of your account.

It’s possible to select only Adopt as the eSignature method available for the signers.

If such option doesn’t appear in your account, please, contact DocuSign Support so they can enable this for your account.

Regarding your workflow process:

  1. Create an envelope
  2. Add your document(s)
  3. Enable the checkbox: Signing Order
  4. Add all your recipients (signers), each one will get automatically an order position. If you want for example two recipients receiving the envelope at the same time, just put the same number to them on the box where there is a number(signing order position)
  5. Add the Sign Here, Name and any other field that you would like in your document.
  6. Click on the Preview botton in the top right corner
  7. If everything looks fine, SEND it.
