How do you make field values disappear when typing begins?

Hi there I am using the trial version and testing creating a template - previously i was able to add fields on now when i go to add any field to the document there is a red no entry sign?Thanks

Hi, I´ve a particular situation that initially was not contemplated by the company in the platform´s workflow. The situation is the next: I have an envelope that contains a contract that needs to be signed by a company’s intern and two external recipients. The issue (or at least the confusing part) here is that we do not count with these two external emails, so what we thought could be a proper solution for this was to send the envelope to our client’s contact, which is someone in the administration department for their company, but she’s not one to sign anything within that envelope, we just need this person to forward the envelope to the 2 external recipients. Though the option “specify recipients” seems to be what suits best for this situation, the platform keeps displaying an error message saying “Account does not have permission to send to Agent recipient type” and that “There was an error saving one of your recipients. Please try again.”

How can I receive again the link with the doc to sign up? Did someone have this problem before? 

We have three admins on our account.  The other admins no longer can reassign my envelopes if I happen to be away from the office.  This was allowed previous and we just realized they can no longer assign it each’s envelopes while I happened be away.   I need them to be able to reassign my envelopes.

After 3 years of using Docusign, all of the sudden we are getting messages from random people across the organization that say they want to “join your DocuSign account”   Does anyone know why this has started happening and how we get it to stop? Thanks

I have an existing template which is applied when we upload contracts to DocuSign via our contract management system. The template recognises the type of contract and places the signature blocks where they need to be.Is there a way to have that template (which is applied to a document loaded into DocuSign) attach a document to the envelope when the template is applied? For example, we want a cover letter / disclaimer to be attached to every Contract that is issued via DocuSign.

My company provide me with Business Pro account, which seems that it is not compliant with the part 11. What is the account plan name that is compliant with the part 11, and what is a annual fee for it. In addition, although my company’s plan is the Business Pro, can an individual upgrade the account to be compliant with the part 11?Thank you for your quick response! 

Hi,is it possible to define two signers as alternative signers, i.e. the envelope gets closed when one of them signs? The use case is if the document is signed by one of two authorized signatories the document becomes valid. Sometimes it is not clear who of the authorized signatories will be the one to sign it ahead of sending the doc. Thanks

How can I tell who voided an envelope or how the envelope got voided?  

I have contract renewal data maintained in Excel sheet and looking to automate the contract renewal process  where as per due date DocuSign initiation process should automatically gets triggered for signers signature. 

This provides intended behavior but when I try put the checkbox trigger over French and set english unchecked it does not work the same way and hides the intended functionaliy

I’m unable to finish document signing, because ID verification is not successful.According to IDNow (the verification provider), DocuSign doesn’t accept my new passport issued in Dec 2022. And the reason is that it is somewhat new version of passport, which can not be accepted by DocuSign for verification.Could you please provide the way to sign the document.

Hi, Is there a way to send a word document as an attachment and remain or be opened in that format?  Along with sending documents to sign, I want the receiver to be able use attachment to copy the text to insert onto their own company letterhead as well as add in a couple of other details.  Need to make it as simple as possible and can’t assume everyone has Adobe Acrobat to convert from PDF to word format.Thanks

Hi,The envelop I sent to others to sign has been missing one last signature. I tried to re-send it to the last signee, but the envelop no longer comes up in ‘Waiting for others’ or anywhere else. But if I click the ‘Review Document’ button included in the DocuSign notification email titled ‘ xxxxxxx reviewed Contract XZY’, I could see the document. What could be the issue and how can I locate my missing envelope?  Thank you,Miho

One of our users cannot see any envelopes in the inbox after January of this year.  I have tried the usual remedies, but those have not worked. 

L.S.,I have added a text to a specific signature (upon the request of that signatory) after all other signatories had already signed the docusign request. When having resent the amended request, and downloading the document, the text does not appear on the document (at that moment the reipient has not yet signed the document). For that reason it is difficult to check whether the recipient indeed sees the text when opening the request. Would be great if somebody could advise whether this is indeed correct or whether I miss something 

Hi everyone,This is the first time I have experienced this issue and I need your help. I completed a form for my clients to initial and sign and within the form I have filled in a lot of tick boxes and blank boxes with ‘ready only’ copy and ‘required boxes’ etc. I sent the envelope and they have received it, but in my cc copy it shows the document with none of the information that I added. So, all my work has disappeared and I can only assume my clients are seeing the same thing. Which is not great if they are. Now, when I go into the same document I sent to ‘correct’ it, all the information is still there? Is it because they haven’t signed it yet and the form isn’t fully completed that I am not seeing all the fields I added? Can anyone help resolve this for me or know what might be happening here? I have updated our new logo files, but they appear broken in both the preview and live environments. I have confirmed that they are the exact dimensions outlined in the requirements (296 x 76 for web, 150 x 150 for email), are an acceptable file format (.png), and do not exceed the file size maximum (300KB). I’ve attempted to save as .gif and .jpg as well, but the issue persists.Attached are the files I’m using and screenshots of the previews for both signing and sending. What am I doing wrong?

How do we control the settings for notifications for sending on behalf of someone? Like if Person A sends a document on behalf of B. Currently B is getting a barrage of notifications that he’d rather not get.

I have paid to send 5 envelopes a month, does anyone know whether the DocuSign months are from the 1st of the month until the end, or from the date you paid from i.e. the 12th?Also, if I upgrade, are the previous plan costs taken into consideration, or is it as if I am a brand new client?Any support would be most grateful.Many thanks Rob Tolley
