Different Email Address as the Sender of DocuSign from Salesforce

Can you advise if its possible to have different sender of DocuSign in Salesforce?For example when the DocuSign triggered from: Account, then the sender would be Account@Sender.comContact, then the sender would be Contact@Sender.comI appreciate any input/advice.

Select Contacts and Opportunities in DocuSign template

I have created DocuSign button on Account detail page to send Document form Account and while selecting recipients I want to select Account related Opportunities also.If anyone know how to meet this criteria, Please let me know, It will be really helpful to me. Thanks In Advance.

Issue "Please verify that you have been granted access to DocuSign, your account settings are correct and that you have responded to all activation emails."

While accessing DocuSign Setup tab getting this error, I have assigned all permission sets which are need and the UserId also matched. After installed I could configure on DocuSign setup and I could create Envelop but after some time getting this error. I have referred many articles and I had done all the steps they have mentioned but still can’t resolve. If any suggestions please let me know, Thanks In Advance.

One of the sender do not want to receive the Document signed alert instead it should be sent to some generic email address

One of the users from Sender do not want to receive Document Signed alert. If we try to uncheck the alert from email preferences it will be unchecked for all the other senders as well and there is no specific setting for user from admin view.And same alert should be sent automatically to a generic email address for eg. donotreply@test.com. who is not sender as well as receiver. How can we achieve this scenario?

When I tried to click on the Generate Document, I got this error ‘List has no rows for assignment to SObject An unexpected error has occurred. Your solution provider has been notified. (dfsle) User is already a Content user.. Any advice is greatly appreciated

DocuSign E-Signature Writeback Envelope Template - in Sandbox

Hello,I have been trying to resolve my issues for several days with searching in the community here and googling. My issue:We have Docusign setup in Salesforce for E-Signature, the data for a custom object should writeback to the DocuSign Envelope Template. This works in Production without issue. However in our Sandbox when the PDF is generated for our Customer to review and complete E-Signing the PDF is blank, and the PDF is not being brought back into Salesforce once signed.I am at a loss. The setup between the Sandbox and Production are the same from my review. DocuSign App Launcher - Salesforce

I’ve been using DocuSign integration with our Salesforce solution for almost a year now, my experience with it, is pretty painful!It really lacks intuitive performance, you have to change your documents to make it a user friendly experience internally and externally.  DocuSign really should be less about management and more about an extension and ease to a workflow. One thing that is really problematic its making changes to existing templates, I make changes to our forms, add that form, move merge or standard fields to the new form from the old one. Add or move to new sections and then those fields disappear. You have to do back into DocuSign make changes to the template, then go back into Salesforce to make changes to ensure its done correctly. A lot of effort for such a gap for an “integrated tool”    Does anyone know of a smooth and easy way to manage existing templates and when you have to make changes to that existing forms without having to replace all the fields?

Salesforce and DocuSign Log In

Hello All, I am super new to Docusign and I am a Salesforce Administrator. I have a new user to set up for a docusign generator. I have assigned them all the permissions in SF and created an account for them in docusign.  They stated they received the email and activated the account, which is true since I see the status as “active” on their profile.However, they are still receiving this error code- Am I missing a step?  Not sure where else to go or what to do. I de-activated the account and will try again today. Any insight would be appreciated.

Calculate grand total of a dynamic table rows

I am displaying related opportunity line items data in a table using TableRow for an opportunity. Number of rows depend on number of opportunity line item records for an opportunity. I want to calculate grand total of TotalPrice column for all the opportunity line items which are displayed dynamically. As i don’t know how many rows i will get in the table, how do i proceed with the formula field? In formula field set up, i don’t see such option anywhere. Any help is much appreciated!

Connect Docusign Developer Environment with Salesforce partial sandbox

Hi! We are trying to install these two applications in the Salesforce partial sandbox: Docusign Gen for Salesforce and Docusign eSignature for Salesforce, but we only have the option to install them in production. Is this a limitation of the apps, or are we missing something?Our user is an admin in the Salesforce partial environment and has all the necessary permissions.Could it be that we need to first install the packages in production, and then it will allow us to install them in the partial sandbox? We would like to test the functionality before releasing it to production.Looking forward to any valuable information on this.Thank you!Arina

Envelope status not updated in Salesforce after transfer from inactive SF user to an active one

I need a way to keep the envelopes sent by an ex-employee to be updated when completed, even when the Salesforce user is deactivated.I have tried transferring the envelopes to an existing employee, whose Salesforce user is still active. I republished all these envelopes.Then I deactivated the ex employee. The document was then signed. On DocuSign, I can see that the envelope is marked as completed. But on Salesforce it is still marked as ‘Sent’.Do you have a way or an idea why even after the envelope transfer, it is not updated when completed on Salesforce?Thank you

Need Help: "Web service callout failed" Error with DocuSign eSignature App in Salesforce

I'm facing a critical issue with the DocuSign eSignature app for Salesforce, and I'm hoping someone can help me troubleshoot it.I've installed the latest AppExchange package for the DocuSign eSignature app, and while I've successfully added the DocuSign button to various native and custom objects, I'm encountering a persistent problem with two specific objects. When I attempt to use the DocuSign functionality on the Contacts object or a custom object called "Enrollments," I receive the following error:"Web service callout failed: Unable to parse callout response. Salesforce to Sharepoint via Docusign Links

Hi, I am building out a process that triggers the document envelope from Salesforce and then archives it in a SharePoint site. Is there a way I can retrieve the link to the sharepoint file and bring it back into salesforce? I want to add a link in the Salesforce record to point it to the signed contract.

This Account lacks sufficient permissions to use Merge Fields.

I'm getting 'This Account lacks sufficient permissions to use Merge Fields.' when I try to add a merge field while creating a template, does anyone know which permission I should add to the DocuSign user in order to make this work?

DocuSign in Salesforce: From envelope temp builder "place fields" access blocked

If I am trying to create or modify an envelope template in from Salesforce and get to the “Place Fields”I then receive the following error:  Content was blocked and it says contact the owner of the website. As anything else out the DocuSign part works in Salesforce I can only imagine it happen during accessing DocuSign sites. I already tried different settings in Chrome / Edge / Firefox but still getting the same error.  Any support would be highly appreciated.

Automatic Anchor Tags for Checkboxes, Text and Stamp

Hello Community,In Salesforce I generate a PDF which should be send via docusign.In the document I used Anchor Tags like \s1\ for Signer 1 and \s2\ for Signer 2. In the documentation I read that Checkboxes could be implemented via \cb1\ or \cb2\ and text via \txt1\. Also i found an article Use Automatic Anchor Text with Custom Tags (docusign.com) where its stated the implementation needs to be as follow \tbx_1_text\ for text and \cb_1_yes\ for a checkbox. For the secong solution Merge fields need to be created, but I dont need writeback functionality. The customer should only be able to click the checkboxes and fill in some text.Is there any chance to get this working?Also I’m missing an anchor tag for a stamp. Is this possible? Thanks and all the best,Sven

Placing Merge Fields on Salesforce Generated Document (attached via record) via the Docusign Envelope Templates editor

Hi community, I am struggling with the following matter:We purchased DocuSign eSignature (no Document Generation).Use CaseOn the Quote record, we generate files (output is either .docx or .pdf) via CPQ Template. In our DocuSign Envelope Template (dfsle__EnvelopeConfiguration__c), we want to add merge fields to these generated files. The documentation from the legacy solution suggests using AutoPlace Fields (also called anchor tags) in our template content (e.g., \s1\ for Signer 1). This solution is not viable for us as it is a legacy feature. I have been trying to find an alternative solution for this matter in the documentation but unfortunately without success. Can anyone help? DocuSign App Launcher - Shared Access

We have recently transitioned from DocuSign eSignature for Salesforce to DocuSign App Launcher. It has come to our attention that certain users who previously had the capability to log in as another user in Salesforce and send a DocuSign envelope on their behalf are now experiencing issues. When attempting this action, the page fails to load properly. This functionality is crucial to our process. We are investigating if there is a specific permission or setting that can be adjusted to restore this capability. Although these users have shared access through the DocuSign website and can send on behalf of others from there, we aim to integrate this feature within our Salesforce organization due to dependent processes. We are seeking a solution to ensure seamless operation and maintain our workflow efficiency.

DocuSign Apps Laucnher - DocuSign Records Migration

Hi, I migrated my DocuSign Records using the migration tool. However, it says it only migrates those that are Completed, Voided or Declined.  How do I get the ones that are in the Sent Status over to the new DocuSign Status object for Apps Launcher?

Email from document template

I am using a template created with DocuSign Apps Launcher for Salesforce.  The recipients are dynamic and have contact records in Salesforce.  The template is referencing an object that has a lookup to the contact in Salesforce.  The Salesforce default email address is in a standard field called Email and the template uses that email address for the send.Is it possible to set the field that the template references to a field other than the standard Email field in Salesforce?Thanks for your help!Scott

Hi, Receiving this error "You have not granted or have revoked your consent to be impersonated by DocuSign Apps Launcher." when sending a document although user have all the required permission in Permission Set and also Active in User management and in Docusign Account and also not able to see the Docusign Admin Tab in the sandbox

DS eSignature Template Field Update in Salesforce

Hello, We are using DS eSignature with Salesforce with the DAL and we configured templates for Sales users to generate contract via eSign Salesforce merge fields and send for signature. Once sent and signed, some statuses of the Quote update. We noticed it’s the sender of the contract (the Sales then) who is the person captured to update the Salesforce field. It means we need to give specific permissions to them which is not ideal. Can we have the integration user to update the status as it is with CLM?Thank you

Salesforce: Set Exipration Time

Hey Guys, I know how to set an expiration date within the DocuSign template or sending process. However, for our business case we need a way to set an exact time. I.e. the offer should not be valid for several days but in most cases only today until x pm. Is it possible to set an exact expiry time?Best regards, Tom
