Conditional Field rules not saving in salesforce

I am attempting to create a conditional field rule in my gen template. I need to set this up and save the configuration to prevent my users from having to do it manually each time.

If i send the document, then generate another quote, the conditional field rules are missing. I do not seem to be able to store them permanently. I am using word templates if it makes a difference.

Any help is appreciated.

Hello @NathanM ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Docusign Community.

The workaround is for you to set up the template in eSignature with all of your desired anchors/autoplacement text, and conditions. Then, the user would use Gen to produce the document, and then during the envelope creation process the user would need to progress to the "Add Fields" step and have to manually choose the "Apply Template" option, where they would then select the server template and apply it on top of the document that Gen produced.

I recommend that you work with your sales team to help scope a Professional Services engagement if you need more in-depth consulting and hand-holding through the process.

I hope this helps. Please "Select as Best" below if you find the answer to be useful.
