Hi,

We’re experiencing an issue with our DocuSign and Salesforce integration and could use some assistance or pointing in the right direction of why this may be occuring.

Here’s our setup:

  • We have linked specific DocuSign templates to types of Opportunities in Salesforce.
  • These templates can be launched directly within the Opportunity page layout in Salesforce.

The Issue:
On the DocuSign template itself (within DocuSign), we’ve configured the recipient authentication method to Phone Authentication. However, when the template is launched via a Salesforce Opportunity, it defaults to SMS Authentication instead.

While we understand that "Phone Authentication" and "SMS Authentication" are functionally similar in most scenarios, one of our third-party partners requires the authentication method to explicitly remain Phone Authentication and not default to SMS Authentication.

Has anyone else experienced this issue, or does anyone know how to ensure that the template retains the Phone Authentication setting when launched through Salesforce?

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
