Renaming the Template - Using ApexToolKit

While I am sending my template for the user to sign. I want the template name to be updated with Templatename _ Contactname or Id. I am trying to use the withName method from envelope but it is throwing me some error. Method does not exist or incorrect signature: void withName(String) from the type dfsle.Envelope. Current scenario :: I have my docusign template uploaded in docusign site and am using that envelopeId to get the template in my apex class. But while I send the template, I want the template Name to have templateName_ContactName.

Editable Template in Docusign

Hello, We are sending contracts out to various vendors, but each agreement can vary slightly. For example, one may be net 30, one may be net 45, or one agreement could have a line crossed out. With that said, we are adding a wide variety of drop downs for the vendor to complete, and adding each box to each agreement is time consuming.Is there a way to create a template with the same text boxes to fill out, and then make the slight edits to the actual agreement within Docusign?Thanks

Formula Field

Worked out how to do this… I had collaboration switched on so please ignore Hi can any one help? I’ve created a formula field that looks at a set of drop down boxes that gives a score of 1 to 3 the formula then gives me the total value of all the drop down boxes.  I then use the same form and create a copy to save me having to recreate the entire document from scratch.  However when I do this the formula doesn’t work any more on the copied document and I have to recreate all the drop down boxes again for it to work. Any one know a way around this or why it’s doing this?

Retrieving access token using JWT flow failing "user_not_found"

Hello members,I'm encountering an issue while generating an access token using the JWT flow in PowerShell. Initially, I thought it might be a simple fix, but I've been troubleshooting for several hours without identifying the root cause. Here's the situation:I'm using a PowerShell script to generate a JWT assertion and then use that assertion to retrieve a temporary access token. Unfortunately, my request is failing. For comparison, I generated a JWT using JWT.io with the same private and public keys, and it successfully retrieved an access token. I've verified that the structure and payload of both tokens appear similar(Check below, same iss and sub) Working Failing     At this point, I'm unsure what I'm missing. It could be a minor configuration error in my script.I'd appreciate any troubleshooting suggestions you might have. Increase/suppress signing link expiry

What is the best way to increase the signing link expiration time(48 hrs/5 click)in remote signing option? Or is there a way the signing link will not expire for the recipient signer? Thanks!Belal

Signing vs. Approving

My role is to review and approve all documents and forward to president with recommendation for signature.  I cannot tell whether my attempt to approve will result in me unintentionally signing the document.  Docusign seems based on simplistic idea “Click here, and you’re all done!”  The real world is more complicated.

Document Visibility Issue Multiple Documents - Not all signers signing all documents

We allow Document visibility by going to advanced options and under ‘Recipient Privileges’  checking ‘Recipients must be signers to view signed documents’.When we have multiple documents, and some signers sign some documents and not others, the signers who do not sign a certain document cannot view that signed document if they are not a signer. The workaround we came up with for this was to add a small blank ‘read only’ text box for that recipient who was not a singer on the document they are not a signer on in order for them to see it.Hoping there is another way around this issue. Thanks

how to edit pay and finish disclosure

I set up a payment item, which works fine. the issue im having is with the Pay and Finish pop-up that has a disclosure saying the transaction is between me and the end user.  The transaction needs to reflect the Buisness name, not me.  How do I edit this? Thnak you.

Hi,I have signed a scam email with DocuSign, regarding a reservation of an hotel, by Royal Visit (email: sales@royal-visit.com). Luckly I did not give any bank information, even if (reading now better the document) it says so. What can I do?

Has anyone not been able to log into Docusign the last few days?

Since Monday, May 6 2024, I have not been able to log into my Docusign account. I enter my email and password successfully, but then it just brings me to a blank page. I’ve tried on Chrome and Microsoft Edge, and I’ve also tried clearing my cache/cookies, but it still doesn’t work. Is there a server down or something? I’m located in the U.S. in EST, if that makes a difference.

Receive copy after signature

What am I doing wrong? I send a document for signature with a copy to others for after the signing. The document is going to all recipients before it’s signed?? How do I set up the sending to only go to copied recipients AFTER its been signed only?

Default Time zone setting

Hello, I have updated all of the regional settings in our profile to (UTC+8:00) Perth as well as deselected the allow users to set their own Time Zone and Date Format however when our contracts are coming through the date is still reverting to the American time format (example - 05/07/2024 instead of 07/05/2024 for the 7th May 2024) Is there something that I have missed when creating our envelopes? Thank you in advance for any guidance

com.docusign.esign.client -- Cannot be resolved

I am trying to integrate the docusign to my existing project and after adding the docusign SDK dependency from below url to my maven project getting error “com.docusign.esign.client -- Cannot be resolved” I followed adding dependency tag (as stated below) to my pom.xml file. https://developers.docusign.com/docs/esign-rest-api/sdks/java/setup-and-configuration/ so after adding the dependency, For testing purpose i added a reference “com.docusign.esign.client.ApiClient” to my .java class and started getting above dependency error. do i have to specify any additional dependency for docusing.esign.client apart from below to my pom.xml file? Any suggestions please? <dependency> <groupId>com.docusign</groupId> <artifactId>docusign-esign-java</artifactId> <version>5.0.0-RC1</version></dependency>

Template PM not sticking

I have created a template that is not behaving.The private message is not sticking when template applied to the document for ONE of the recipients (a witness). The PM for the other 4 recipients work…… Any ideas?

Expired?

When a notification arrives stating that an envelope has expired, how do I find out which one it is. I sent several in a week and kinda need to know if someone did not respond or why it expired. To my knowledge, none should be expiring or have expired….is that Spam??
