Hi All,I wanted to understand the concept of App password.So normally we create a new account for each sandbox and connect it with salesforce.Later in salesforce we create a named credential and give our username and instead of our password we put in the app password generated in docusign.Should we be using different app password for different sandbox or how does it work.i have 10 accounts in the same login username. so should i use 10 different app password ?

I am wanting to be able to share my previously used contacts that are saved with a colleague so that they my use them as well. Is this something I am able to do?

Can I please get some confirmation on the 21 CFR Part 11 module requirements for users RECEIVING a signature request, when the receiving user does not have the 21 CFR Part 11 module.Say I am a 21 CFR Part 11 module user, and I send a signature request to a user with a FREE DocuSign account (assume their org uses a different signature platform, so no DocuSign licenses). Is the signing users signature 21 CFR Part 11 compliant, and they are forced to provide a second method of authentication as part of this compliance? I would hope/expect that it does work this way, just looking for total confirmation as i’m struggling to find a concrete answer for certain...

I have a template with three roles and the order I want to keep is:Role 1: Needs to View Role 2: Needs to Sign Role 3: Needs to SignMy ideal workflow consists of the role 1 viewing the document and only after the approval, the envelope is sent to role 2 and 3 for signatures. However, I noticed that as soon as the role 1 opens the envelope, role 2 also receives the notification.How can I prevent role 2 from receiving the envelope notification while the role 1 is still reviewing it? Should I actually set role 1 as Needs to Sign and request the consent via an Approve button? Thanks!

Hello; I have an iframe working on PCs and tablets, yet wen it runs on a mobile, it doesnt work fine…I can simulate de mobil device and it runs well: yet in the pyshical mobile device doesnt run. If a template has several documents (pages) within it and only one documents (page) needs to be edited (i.e. replaced) or another needs to be added in the middle of the template, how can I make that change without losing all of the other pages fields that were already assigned? Example: I have a 50 page document that I have assigned all fields within all pages. I have to update one page within this document, how can I do that? It is letting me remove a page, but not add one. Further, I do not want to have to start all over and reassign all fields if I add a page within the entire document. Is this possible with DocuSign?

Hello, Is there an option to customize the email subject and instruction text to include for an Agency as a specified recipient via the API.Something like below: "Please fill in your details if you are the signatory for this contract. We have a payed business pro for salesforce account.Due to a realign of the used email addresses per user we decided to move a group of users from our .com domain addresses to .nl email addresses. For most users this isn't an issue, but we have now two users who have a large base of commercial contacts and these users receive docusign documents on their old .com and their new .nl addresses. This currently results in a “create a new account” message for every docusign document they want to sign and which is not bound to the active email address of their docusign account. It also results in signed documents being unrelated to our business account. How to handle this ? 

Hi Team, I want to fetch custom folder of all user(DS-Admin and DS-Sender) created under same account.While I am trying to all get folder with List API (/restapi/v2.1/accounts/{accountId}/folders?include=envelope_folders,template_folders,shared_tempalte_folders ) with this I am only getting admin folders. Please provide any solution to fetch list of Folder. Thanks,Sneha

Why do I need to sue DocuSign in order to get an envelope history that I am a part of and my signature was used fraudulently?Why is CS and  legal so evasive?Doesn’t anyone know that not honoring the TOU agreement and production of documents will be a complaint filed with the FTC, SEC and consumer protection regulators?I have been trying to reject all contracts made using DocuSign because of their lack of compliance with TOU(If you are part of the document and a signature is contested, I am entitled to the envelope history)I will be including DocuSign as the facilitator in a fraudulent transaction and requesting a subpoena that DocuSign must comply anyway and now will be asked to pay legal fees and potential sanctions and any judgement sent to the proper regulatory agencies.   

I added some users because in a web search I got information suggesting that the DS Senders permission allowed people to send but did not allow them to sign. It appears this information is not correct.How can I remove the ability to sign on users. We have a scenario where only 1 person is supposed to be able to sign. But a handful of people need to be able to send envelope out for signature.

A few years ago I was able to upload PDF documents and create a template that I could send to people and have them complete the form.  Apparently changes have been made and pdf is no longer a supported document format. What is the best way to create a template that I can send to people such as an onboarding form that gets used frequently.  

Which plan contains the ability to do embedded sending and signing? I assume all esignature plans allow the use of all API methods. Based on the plan and pricing page it is only included in the Enterprise tier. Thank you.

we send two different templates from the same email/account and we want to organize the envelopes by template sent in the inbox so that you can see the canceled, completed, in progress,... of each template. How can I create these 'folders' so that they are automatically classified? Can I see them in Outlook if I have the mailbox available?

Hello,I have sent a DocuSign template to an internal user. It is a template that I regularly send them and for some reason (just this one time), they are unable to answer the majority of the textboxes and drop boxes. I have checked and the sections are definitely assigned to them as a recipient.  On my end, I can see the text fields. For them, it looks like a regular pdf ‘readable’ document, with no options to input information

For those that are looking for a better W-9 template than the one in the Template Library, feel free to use this one attached.It actually allows the Individual/ Sole Proprietor the ability to enter in their EIN / TIN instead of their personal SSN.It allows the entry of the business entity / doing business as (DBA) name based on the appropriate tax classification.  It hides the DBA when entering in the SSN as an individual.

Hi, newbie on DocuSign here… just my 2nd day on plataform! We have a complaince training today 2pm (+30min from now). After training all people needs to sign a document do say they were present and listen to training (please do not ask why… here is Brasil!). How we already did it:We generate a new doc in Word, with all legal terms and send it to 20 people!  Very hard work! What we need / I wish we could to do:Generate the .DOC withe legal terms and ONE space for signature and date/time and attach a CSV file for recipients (name, e-mail). They receive the e-mail, open it, sign their names and it´s done.Later we go to plataform to download ONE document with all 20 signatures to add to complaince process! We’ve used to do it using a manual process to put each people name and indicating the exact space for his signature . So if there are 18 people, we need to put 18 sign

I am the Admin on our company’s DocuSign account and I am the only one that creates templates. I have shared certain templates with specific department staff. However, no matter what specific templates I have shared with them, they are able to see ALL templates I have uploaded. Is there a way to limit their view to ONLY the templates that have been shared with them?

Hello. We are hitting the /accounts endpoint to try get a few details about our subscription from the API, and but are receiving unexpected results.We are making a GET call to the /v2.1/accounts/{accountId} endpoint in order to report on billingPeriodEnvelopesAllowed. We are receiving a non-numeric value back, when we are were expecting to get the number of envelopes that are allocated to that account.  We subsequently attempted to make a GET call to the /v2.1/accounts/{accountId}/billing_charges endpoint to verify what was in the includedQuantity  and allowedQuantity values, which also didn’t return the expected result. My questions are:Is there a better definition for what should be returned in those values? Is there a known way to get the number of envelopes allocated to a given Docusign account via the API?

Hello,We have followed all the instructions on your Go-Live docs, but continue to receive a review declined. There is no reasoning available on the dashboard.We have lodged multiple support tickets and have been told they cannot assist us.How can we find the reason for the failed review? Other posts on the community have pointed to asking support with an integration ID, but support are adamant they cannot assist. Our API efficiency score is above 85 and our application polls every 90 minutes (well above the 15 minutes).Docusign - where can we find the failed reason? Can you please improve your developer experience? Thanks

 I have a document  that needs to be signed to either  confirm acceptance of terms or  signed to confirm their refusal of terms. I have added the sign  action arrow to both the acceptance and the decline option. If both options are tagged with the Sign action will DocuSign allow for the person to only sign one option? I am concerned that DocuSign will want both spaces to be signed and will give an error message if one isn't. Please advise what you think is best.
