Document Visibility and Conditional Routing

I am looking into how to set up Document Visibility settings together with conditional routing, so that when a value is triggered in a dropdown field, a new envelope containing the different document will be sent to the same recipient's email address.

For example, My template is an application for paid parental leave.  The signer has the choice to select Mother or Father from a dropdown field.  If mother is selected, I want a new envelope with additional forms to complete to be sent to the signer.

I would really like this to be a WebForm if possible.

Hi @CCO Medical !

The eSignature web form is always linked to a single template, and there are some usage restrictions, including conditional recipient.

To be able to do this process described by you, I recommend that you obtain Docusign's IAM. With it, you’ll be able to develop an intelligent workflow that will analyze the response received in the ‘web form from scratch’ and add routing for different scenarios.

@Vinicius.Rodrigues

Thank you for your response.  Would it be possible to do this using a PowerForm?  If so, could you elaborate?

Hi @CCO Medical !
Unfortunately, PowerForms cannot support Document Visibility, so I don’t think it would be a good solution for you. You can check the PowerForms rules and limitations in this article.

Just for letting you know, PowerForms and WebForms are very similar, but WebForms can offers a better user experience and being dinamically. Web Forms offer a more interactive, mobile-responsive experience where the signer fills out the form directly within the DocuSign interface. Power Forms present a static PDF form, requiring users to navigate a unique URL or embed it on a website.
