Creating a parent consent form that will get distributed via educators

I am trying to create an informed consent form that will go to parents/guardians but through educators. The goal of form is to have educators forward the document to their students parents and guardians, have the parents/guardians complete the form, and then a signed copy is sent to me as the primary collector and to the educator to ensure they know which students are participating and which are not. I believe I can do this in a power form but when I test it it does not populate correctly. How do I accomplish this? Thank you.

Good day,is there an option that one can sign once and it populates all the necessary signature spots. i.e when a document is sent with multiple pages to be signed, one can click once and all pages are signed instead of each page to be clicked on?

If I am the only signer, is it still free to sign?

Prior to DocuSign's acquisition by Google, I frequently received documents that only I needed to sign; no sending or third parties required. At that time, the option I always selected for signees was "Just me - Always free!". Since the change, I can find no way to add just my signature to documents. Has this free option been eliminated? If not, can someone point me in the right direction? If it has been eliminated, any idea on other good free signature software out there? I work for a small business with a limited budget.

Corrected Envelope disappeared

Hi All,I was correcting an envelope yesterday and came out without resending and now the envelope has disappeared. Not in draft etc, but when I click on the link sent from a viewer it states the envelope is being corrected by the sender. Where do I retrieve the envelope from? Thanks, Jess

How can i add envelope custom field into Email body?

Business Requirement: Allow users to bulk send documents to multiple people for signature. The email content sent to different recipients should contain their names and positions, therefore should be dynamic values. The names and position data are included in the bulk send csv import file . So how can we ensure the email content sent to the people contains unique values based on who we send to ? For Example, person A’s name: David, position: CEO, person B’s name: Rob, position: Manager In the email content: When send to David, the email shows as ‘Hi David, please sign the document for position ‘CEO’. When send to Rob, the email shows as ‘Hi Rob, please sign the document for position ‘Manager’

Editing for accessibility

We are working on getting our petitions (documents students fill out and sign) to be accessible when it is in DocuSign. We are using one of the petitions as a test and have re-created it in Word and used Word’s accessibility checker. The questions I have pertain to the formatting of form fields when creating it in DocuSign. Should you “Add text” in a form field or leave it blank or leave it as is (the text box has the word text in it)? Should you put some wording in the “Data Label” box when editing or leave it blank? Are there other formatting tips that you have from your attempts at making something accessible in DocuSign?

Field Data Labels for Accessibility

Hello,I am setting up some empathy training for staff to impress upon them the need to edit their DocuSign forms for accessibility. I am using NVDA for the demonstration and I admit I don’t know NVDA very well. My question is: From an accessibility perspective only, why do we need to change the field data labels from the default to something meaningful? I can’t get the screen reader to see the field data labels. The screen reader DOES see the tool tips as well as the Add Text content. I realize meaningful field data labels are much easier to work with when using DocuSign with other systems but my end users don’t care about that. Can someone give me a practical reason why we should change the data label, from an accessibility point of view?Also, should the Data Label and the Tool Tip match the text label on the form for simple fields. For example “Client Name ____________” Then the Data Label = Client-Name and the Tool Tip = Client’s Name. Or is there a better best practice? T

Generating a direct link to an envelope

Wondering if there is a way to generate a link to an envelope? We have executives who have troubles (or impatience) with finding the DocuSign emails which often end up in their spam folders, or buried among many others, and are trying to streamline the process for them. We are proposing that instead we send the executives a manual email which outlines our ask (e.g., covers the details of the contract, purpose, attaches any other pertinent information such as internal business case etc), and then has the link directly to the eSignature page for them to complete the signature process.As far as I can see, the only way to get this link is to somehow intercept the email that has gone to the executive and copy it from there? Is there any other way? I have looked at Powerforms and I don’t think this works for this situation as I think this is overkill for the requirement.

Searching for Documents

I have access to a General DocuSign mailbox which holds Agreements from many departments in our company. Often I am asked to search for a specific agreement by the name of the ‘Vendor’ only. Often times this agreement has not been saved by the Vendor name, but by the ‘Contract’ name. I am not given any other information. When entering search information I often get results which include results with the search request mentioned ‘anywhere’ in the agreement. Is there anyway to narrow this down?Sometimes the list can be over 50+ agreements and if the Vendor name isn’t in the ‘title’ I have to open up each document to see if it is what I am searching for. There has to be an easier way, I just don’t know how to get around it.

DocuSign Apps Laucher for Salesforce error when DS User permission changes

My company recently upgraded to DocuSign Apps Launcher in our Salesforce org to send documents for signature in Salesforce.When I created the eSignature template in Salesforce and custom fields in DocuSign for this initiative, I was made a DS Admin inside of DocuSign for ease.Now that the initiative is complete and tested successfully, it is preferable that I become a DS Sender inside of DocuSign. However, when that change is made, I can no longer access DocuSign Apps Launcher at all (even though I have the right DocuSign Salesforce permissions), but more strange is our Users/Senders in Salesforce receive errors when trying to send documents. I have made sure that the template created by the DocuSign Apps Launcher was shared with everyone.I was made an admin again in DocuSign and the issue was resolved, so feel certain this is the cause of the error. What do I need to do to resolve this so that I can made a DS Sender again in Salesforce?
