Hi, A question from a complete newbie, both in DocuSign, both as signed electronically documents. Once I signed a document, is the signed document “stay signed on its own”? What I mean is … do I need to keep paying DocuSign to have a copy of the signed document? Or, if I keep a copy of that signed document in a folder in my computer or my email as attachment, the document is still signed? Related to this, I will need to sign 5 documents a year. I can imagine that whenever I need to sign a document, I will have to pay DocuSign for that month, right? I dont need to pay the months before or after. Thanks, Juan 

Hi, I've had a Free account for over a year (not the 30-day free trial, just the free account).I have no need to send envelopes, but only to sign.Since yesterday I get this message when I try to sign any document: The envelope allowance for the account has been exceededSo far I’ve never experienced any problem/limitation. I do not send envelopes, but I am the only signer of the documents I upload, sign and download.I don't understand what the envelope limit refers to and what the actual limit is.As far as I understood from this article (https://support.docusign.com/s/articles/FAQ-Docusign-Envelope-Allowance?language=en_US), the envelopes I sign myself should not be counted.Thank you in advance for your support

Hello All,I am trying to save the value of an attribute to a CLM workflow variable.I followed these posts:How do I update a Variable when a document attribute is updated by a user (during a workflow)? | CommunityHow do you update a variable value with the current value of an attribute? | CommunityBut, when I look at the XML of the Find Document Step, it does NOT show the attribute I created under the Attribute page in the Admin center.During the workflow, my team will set the value of this new attribute and I need it later in the workflow saved in a variable.Am I missing something?

I am using the "List Envelopes" action in Power Automate to retrieve envelopes from DocuSign by applying specific filters. I have set the "top" filter to 50, expecting to receive up to 50 envelopes. However, the action only returns 13 envelopes, and the hasMoreRecords property is set to false, even though there are over 400 envelopes in my DocuSign account.

Hi,This might be trivial but never the less. When we send documents for signing its quite common that the authorised signatory want a legal to paginate/verify the content first, how is that done in the best way? Order is not an issue, its the action, view or need to sign.

Why does the 21 CFR Part 11 eSignature stamp show a different date/time than the time/date of signature on the certification of completion?  It looks like the stamp is defaulting to when the signature was accepted originally instead of when the document is signed.   

I have sent out many employee handbooks to be read and electronically signed. When I received many of them, there were other signatures from other employees that overlapped on the same document. There is supposed to be only one signature per employee, per document. How did this happen and how do I download a separate document, each with its own individual employee signature and not multiple signatures on one document?

Hi all,I am setting up document generation template in CLM and am running into an issue where multiple blank pages are included in document generation.My company utilizes a Master Services Agreement (MSA) and Statement of Work (SOW) agreement format. In our document generation, the MSA is always generated, and SOW’s are generated based on user input in the intake form. Each SOW is unique, and is pulled into generation through merge fields throughout the master document. In order to number our documents correctly, we have inserted page breaks and section breaks throughout the document. So, for sake of demonstration, our template generation document has the following format:MSA[conditional select SOW 1]page break - section break[conditional select SOW 2]page break - section break[conditional select SOW 3]page break - section breaketc.The issue I am running into is when a user generates an agreement and Selects SOW 1 and SOW 3, there are multiple blank pages included between SOW 1 and SOW

I was wondering if anyone else figured out how to make the assignments “Resolve Comments” to show up in TASKS in Salesforce.  We created an @task assignment by adding comments on the landing page in Document Preview and assigned it as a task.  This generates emails and shows in Tasks in DS CLM but does not show in Salesforce.  Should I be doing something differently?  Most of my users are SF users, so this would be great if it showed there too.  

Does anyone know how to shrink or hide the task panel on the left hand side of Document Preview?  Is this possible from the user’s end?  I know you can hide/shrink the comments/attributes/etc. but I can’t figure out how to shrink/hide the lefthand side of the screen.  Is this a setting or does it not exist?  

I have an envelope that has been completed. On reviewing the document it appears that one of the recipients ‘signed on paper’, however, I cannot see their signature in the execution panel, nor does it appear on the Docusign Certificate of Completion.Has this happened to anyone else?Has the document actually been signed in full?

Spent a good amount of time looking for an answer to this but can’t find one.I have Admin access.Have a csv with data that populates all of the data no problem for contracts to be signed. Attached.I wanted to add the EmployeeID and have that pre-populate for the Employee. The same as their name and email does.I’ve created a Document Custom Field called EmployeeID and can add this to the document but it doesn’t populate the data.Tried all the different Field Types in the Document Field but none seem to work. Where possible, I’ve marked them mandatory or read only.We’d also like to populate the address and other data as well if we can get this working.

I am looking to input a text field for customers. I want them to be able to put in numbers with decimals, between a certain target value and 100. In this case, lets say 3. The issue i am running into, is that docusign is recognizing only the 1st digit in the sequence, and so while answers like 35, 62 and 90 are accepted, answers like 12 and 29 are not. I would like docusign to recognize double digit numbers, while still adhering to the lower end threshold.Here is the formula i currently have, any advice would be greatly appreciated. ^(?:[3-9]?\d(\.\d{1,2})?|100(\.00)?)$ 

I invalidated an envelope, because this person keeps receiving reminders from docusign, which is not needful anymore. This person still receives reminders from docusign. Why isn't this canceled? And how can I make sure docusign stops with sending these reminders? See the printscreen below, which says that the envelop is invalidated at 19 januar 2024. 

Has anyone created a form that staff on your team fill out (via dropdowns and free text), sign and send to a third party? What is the best approach to do this?  

Hello theres, I have received an agreement via email, but i accidentally adopted a incorrect signature and could not change it. Every time I refresh and try to sign the agreement, it will stick with the incorrect one. Are there any way I can do to revise it on my end or I have to ask the sender to re-send a new agreement? Much appreciated!

I Downgraded my docusign account from a paid account to a free account over 6 months ago - but am still being billed monthly. Every month it tells me “downgrading to a free account after...” the last date of the month is listed - but then it automatically re-subscribes for another month.I tried to contact support, but cannot open a ticket. The chatbot is unhelpful.What can i do?

My manager and I send numerous legal documents externally for completion and signature return via DocuSign on a quarterly basis. We first draft, compose and complete the Word version templates, then upload the templates to DocuSign for usage. We tag the document custom fields properties (e.g., data source) and use bulk send (e.g., csv open file format in Excel).  After we approve the final documents and package for transmittal via DocuSign, we would like to have the ability to download and save the “incomplete and unsigned” documents (prior to sending to individuals for their completion and signatures) in our internal PC system. We are both unable to solve and complete this simple task and seeing if the DocuSign Community can assist.  Any advice and direction will be much appreciated .   .   

Hi forum.We are moving company and had our service agreement with docusign ending at the end of January.  We planned to re-subscribe in a month or two but in the meantime I decided to downgrade to “free” until we could re-subscribe at that time.Despite my having moved the plan to free a few days prior to the renewal date I was charged the full renewal amount.I noticed this, went into my account which still showed as the Freemium… no billing at all showing for these  new charges.I sent in an email to their support about it and got an email back saying “no problem, we will issue a refund for the whole amount and it may take 10 business days.”Today I noticed another pending charge for the whole subscription renewal amount, again, so I have now been charged twice for a subscription renewal that I actively did not sign up for. I sent in a message.   The same person responded, ignored my question about the second charge and stated that they are unable to refund taxes (????) so they would onl

Hello, My client has a Template and Power Form set up. They are asking me to set something up so that after a user completes\signs their form, they will be granted access to their website.This is what I have so far:I added some Document Custom Fields to the document which are meant to contain some Guids from the client’s system. These values can be used to identify the user.In the email that is sent to users, I included the Power Form’s url and appended these custom fields to the query string.This part worked fine - I can see that the custom values show up in the document.Then I created a Brand and set up the “Signing Completed” Destination URL. (The URL that I used is for a page on the client’s website.)I would like to add these same custom fields to the Destination URL’s query string so that when the user is redirected back to that page on the client’s website, I can use some logic to grab those values and identify the user.So far, if I try to include the custom values as Merge Field
