Developer Account

I am a DS Admin for my university. I am wondering the best way to give someone a developer account using our corporate emails if possible. I am completely new to the DS admin role. We have some employees who are utilizing the DS developer accounts through their personal email addresses (ex:gmail).

Why was an envelope used to correct/ add document after sending file but not completed?

I had to “correct” a file prior to my client signing since I forgot to add one document. I was unable to add the document due to not having any envelopes, so I had to purchase a subscription.. again. Pretty sure I already did this, but for some reason only had 3 envelopes this month. I have had to correct/add documents in the past but was never penalized and had to use an additional envelope. Is this new to the terms or was I just robbed a whole envelope? Same sender, email, only one additional document and one signature was needed, but system used a whole envelope.  As I read, “An envelope is a container for documents that you send to a recipient to sign. An envelope can have one document or many documents, and one signer or many signers. Envelopes have statuses (e.g., sent, delivered, completed, voided) and also contain information about the sender and timestamps that indicate the progress of the delivery procedure. Regardless of how many documents, fields and signers a given envelop

Recipients on copy must also have additional authentication

New this week..When I send a document for signature and also list someone else to receive a copy of the documents, I get a message that says "Joint agreements require additional authentication" for the person who is just receiving a copy.  Is this a new feature?

Detect and auto place

Is there any one at Docusign who is working on detection and *automatic* placement of signatures on scanned pdfs? If so, where can I play with this? If not, what is preventing this from happening? It seems like this should be possible now that there is Machine Learning. Thoughts?

Itemised list of template contents

Hi there - I’m looking to see if anyone knows if it is possible to export an itemised list of template contents (ie list of document titles within a template). I’m aware of downloading the contents of the template to PDF or exporting data of reports/completed envelopes, but am not able to find if you can export a list of prepared templates and their contents.My team and I manage 500+ pre-set templates for business use, and it would be handy to export an itemised list to better audit and maintain our account.

Not adopting my signature

The word “docusign” is being inserted on the signature line when I try to sign. My profile has my signature and intials but they are not being inserted into documents.Also - I do not get the prompt to adopt or change my signature while on the active document I’m trying to sign.  I’m desperate to get this corrected so as the document I need to sign is due in 3 days.

When setting up a new drop down list - is there any system limitation as to the maximum number of options you can create/include for the recipients to select from under a drop down list, eg 50, 100.

I was told by another help person that I need to know who my account manager is so that I can get the cost of bulk sending. We have no idea who our account manager is. How do I find this out and how do I find out how much extra the bulk sending feature is???

Filter

How do I filter the year 2023 for all the envelopes I sent?  DocuSign platform has changed & I can’ filter.  Even if I attempt to select the “all” radio button, it just defaults to 6 months.

Only defined persons receive completed document?

Hello,is it possible that only some defined persons receive the completed document but not every signer?In our use case every signer has to input his birth date and the completed document should only be sent to one defined receiver who can access the document.

Repeat document notifications

In the last 2 days I am receiving repeated notifications of documents either being viewed or completed. These are things I have already received. I have received the notifications 4-5 times each on some of them. What is the issue and how can I stop it?

"From" changed to someone else

I created an “envelope” and sent it to my Clients. They had changes they needed made and when I went back to update it (“correct” it), it appears I’m no longer the creator of that “envelope.” Not sure what happened.

Power forms

I have created all my power forms but unfortunately each one of my clients has to fill four or five power forms out. So that means that’s four or five envelopes per client which gets pricey. Is there a way to combine several form links into one envelope?

Identity Wallet on Windows with USB security only (no PIN, no face recognition)

I can use passkey for DocuSign login with PIN or face recognition.But when I try to save my ID Wallet with passkey it gives only one option: USB security key. (No pin, no face recognition) My console shows this warning:“publicKey.pubKeyCredParams is missing at least one of the default algorithm identifiers: ES256 and RS256. This can result in registration failures on incompatible authenticators. See https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/main/content/browser/webauth/pub_key_cred_params.md for details”  And that seems to be the reason. publicKey.pubKeyCredParams for DocuSign login defines -7 (ES256) and -257 (RS256), whereas publicKey.pubKeyCredParams for the ID Wallet passkey defines only -7 (ES256).That leads to Windows giving only the Security Key option for the ID Wallet passkey. Is this intentional? I hope it is not. If it is, it should be mentioned in the documentation.

Notifications not coming to email when envelope has been signed

All of my notification settings are ON.  I have a document out for review/signature, and low and behold everyone has signed, but I only received one email notification that 1 party has “viewed” only.  I kept scratching my head why I wasn’t receiving multiple “has viewed” and “has signed” notifications.  Nothing in spam.  What might be wrong here please?   Thank you hive.
