I have sent out a bulk envelope with a template I created with multiple data labels. One of the “cc” recipients on 40 or so of the bulk send now has requested permission to fill in text fields for her boss. I am not sure how to modify the envelope to allow her to fill in the text portions of the documents. Any ideas?

Hello, as I mention in my other post, I’ve been asked to automatically generate a weekly envelope status report. I have this working now, albeit without the custom fields; however, DocuSign wraps the Excel file within a ZIP file. Is there any way to configure DocuSign so that the report is sent as an Excel file? (XLSX or CSV is fine)As always, thank you! Salvador

Hi all,I’m using a JWT Grant flow in PHP (RS256).The token works perfectly against the sandbox endpoint:https://demo.docusign.net/restapi/v2.1/accounts But when I send the exact same JWT to the Maestro (developer) endpoint:https://api-d.docusign.com/v1/accounts DocuSign returns:“Jwt payload is an invalid JSON”Does anyone know why the payload is accepted in demo but rejected in Maestro/API-D?What’s different ?Thanks in advance for any help 🙏

I am using the C# SDK and the ListStatusChanges method to get multiple envelopes that we have open. The returned object Envelope class doesn’t appear to have a Comments property. It does have HasComments property but even this seems to be null on the returned object. I don’t see any options to include comments on the ListStatusChangesOptions class. The only Comments related API calls I see is to get the comment transcript as a PDF, however I really just want the comments themselves, not a PDF. It's worth noting, the API reference does show a Comments property on the Envelope object, but this does not exist in the C# SDK. Is there any way to get the comments using the C# SDK as objects, or is this just not possible at the moment?Envelope Class - Docusign CSharp Docs: DocuS

I’m using a DocuSign admin-privileged account, but I'm facing the following issues: While adding recipients, the “Sign with Notary” option is not visible. In Sending Settings, the “In-Person (Hosted) Signing Role” checkbox is disabled, and we’re unable to enable or disable it. Could you please help me resolve these issues or let me know if any specific features or permissions need to be activated from your side?

When creating templates having the ability to “Ctl S” to save as you are going along creating instead of having to exit the template will save a enormous amount of time and frustration to your clients. I thought the “Ctl S” worked when I was creating a multipage template to come to find out that I lost most of the work - my bad.I thought DocuSign was developed to work with that standard of saving documents like every other program I’ve worked with. 

Is there any way to apply my own signature to my own document that is larger than 25MB?  Can I access my document from my desktop and apply my signature?

Hi,All the documents have been added for in purge queue after set a retention period, which means that all documents will be in queue for deletion. The retention period has now been disabled but the documents still have the status that they are being deleted. How can that be restored? Or can we increase purge period for documents in queue.

I’ve noticed problems with the way that corrections are treated in docusign.   I’ve noticed this on both sides of the process actually;  both as a signer and the creator of a contract.  When a document is corrected it is not being resent to the recipients regardless of whether or not they have already signed.   In researching the issue it seems that docusign is not supposed to resend to someone who is only set to “receive a copy” which seems silly to me.  Our agreements are with the end user of our product and the general contractor sometimes doesn’t need to sign but they are not receiving an updated copy of the contract which is a problem for us.   Wondering if others experience is the same and how it is being dealt with.  thank you ! 

How can I drag & drop the signature boxes with more accuracy on an iPad. It's not as easily done as on the computer & I have to delete and start over every time. Really aggravating.

Hi,I've been trying to create a DocuSign developer account, but no matter which email I use, the registration process doesn't complete. I even tested the process with an existing email, expecting an error message indicating that the account already exists, but instead, the "Get Started" button stays in a submit state and nothing happens—no error message or confirmation.At this point, I'm unsure if the registration form is working correctly. I have attempted the process with five different emails and have also tried the following troubleshooting steps:Clearing cookies and cache Using a private/incognito window Trying a VPN Using a mobile device on a different networkDespite these efforts, the issue persists. Could someone please assist me in resolving this?Thank you.

I want to create a fixed text custom field that can optionally be placed in an envelope by the sender and can be visible to all recipientsThe Fixed text is APPROVED AS TO FORM:SANTA CLARA CITY ATTORNEY”S OFFICE I create the field as read only, with a fixed length but I get a box surrounding the text and it wraps around even though I lengthen the field on the document. How do I remove the box outline and stop the field from wrapping.  I have also tried creating 2 custom fields one for each line but I get the same behavior.    

Hello Team I am trying to setup sso between Docusign and SAP BTP .As a first step we got a demo account with admin access .I tried creating the domain with sap.com and started getting this error .Since this is the first step before configuring the Identity Provider I am not sure how to proceed further.If I give any other domain like fandoraxyz.com it works .SInce SSO should happen through the email  in this case .user@sap.com without the sap.com domain we won’t be able to proceed .Can we get some reference documentations to look here?I am referring to this steps. Is there any other work arounds .Please suggest . 

Hi,I have a form where the technician will first complete their section, entering values related to labor costs. After that, the parts department will fill out the pricing for parts. Finally, the manager will review the form and add any additional information.In the manager section, there’s a field that needs to automatically calculate a value based on one input from the technician and one from the parts department. However, when I try to create the formula, those earlier fields don’t appear as available options likely because they were filled out by previous users in the workflow.How can I set this up so that the calculation field in the manager section can access and use values entered earlier by the technician and parts department?

I have been using DocuSign for my editing contracts for over 1+ years. Most times I send my contracts while at my computer, but I am frequently on the go and sometimes need a mobile solution. I use templates for my editing contracts, but it seems like the templates do not work on the iOS app. Why is this not a feature in the app?  How do other in similar situations overcome the challenges of this lacking feature in the app?

Well, when I create the envelope with status “sent”, usually I got the “create” envelope email, from DocuSign, but never the one to sign it. So I signed the document from the DocuSign page and then I got the “complete” email, but no the email that request the signature.Even from the DocuSign dashboard I select the envelope and hit the “resend” button and still not getting the email. I checked the the email address is correct. Is there a setting that I need to change?

Hi all,I'm currently working on integrating DocuSign into my C# application. One of the features I’d like to implement is Signing Groups. While I can see that the DocuSign REST API does support Signing Groups (as referenced in the official documentation), it appears that the DocuSign.eSign.dll NuGet package does not expose equivalent functionality.Could someone confirm if this functionality is currently missing from the NuGet library, or if there’s an alternative way to access Signing Group features through the SDK that I might have overlooked?Thank you!

Looking to set-up Share Access for the team where the majority of envelopes can be shared.  However there are few envelopes that we would like to mark as private.  Is it possible to have both Share Access across users and also specially designate private envelopes?

I have Docusign integrated with Salesforce. Currently, I have a DocuGen Template created and I can click a Salesforce button to generate a document from an Opportunity, complete with various merge fields. I have a use case where I’d like to help automate workflows by having a Salesforce Flow (with Invocable Apex assistance, if necessary) take a given Opportunity, generate the ContentDocument, and then attach the ContentVersion as an email along with a Salesforce Email template and send it to a Contact. I can see how to generate a Docusign Envelope through Apex (really great documentation btw), but I don’t want an entire envelope. I just want to generate the doc itself, and send that raw doc attached to a templated email to the designated Contact for review. I cannot find any documentation about how to use the DocuGen features to use the Template and merge fields to generate the doc so that I can use it as an attachment. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Is there an ability to send a document for signature but only the sender gets the signed copy. There are numerous cases (particularly with 3+ signatory documents) where it is not appropriate for individual signatories to get the fully-signed document. This should be a setting but does not currently seem possible and requires such an agreement to be individually sent to each signatory.

Hi! I work at a bank and we are looking at adding signature pads in our personal banker offices so customers can sign in person. Does anyone have any recommendations of what you are using? Our compliance team said it was important that the customer can see and read the documents before signing. What are you all doing? I am looking for all tips and tricks! :-)Thanks,Kim

Not able to view/open documents, after documents signed by user. receiving error- which states- The link has been expired. The templates/envelope have expire date of more than 100 days.any idea why this issue has been occured.
